In Group Ride you missed telling people about "Follow the Leader" This is where you pick the leader of your group and it will leave a line or "crumbs" along the route he is taking so you can follow.

My favorite mapping feature is turning on satellite overlay when connected to your phone! But it’s too bad you cannot search for towns, fuel, food etc like most other mapping tools. It just shows where you were, but can’t help you find where you wanna go
Didn’t know about access to cameras while moving. Waiting for my rear view mirror to come in (back order). This will be a handy substitute for the time being. Thank you!

The Polaris platform is literally awesome. While I don't need to plow snow at this point I would love to, but all I'd have to do is program the system. Thanks a lot and good luck
How does the RideCommand app differ from the Ride Command unit in a polaris? I have a can-am and am interested in running Ride Command on a tablet in my vehicle. Thank you in advance for any helpful responses.
How do I set a longitude and latitude waypoint before I start the ride? In other words, I understand how to set a waypoint when I am sitting on that waypoint. But I want to navigate to a specific longitude and latitude point that is along my trail ... and I want to mark the point before I start my ride so I know where to exit my main trail. Can you please tell me how to do that?
I wonder if it still crashes mid to late afternoon like it did last summer? We were running it on several machines and it would just lock up. Didn't help to reboot or shut it off and start over, just that's all you get for today. Haven't tried it much this summer as we have been been using Avenza.

You say much about what it does but not how its programed to do it. Way points, how to program it from point A and back to the same spot? How is it done? Then you have the video guy on you instead of on the screen. Frustrating im a newbie.
I am having problems connecting my IPod to polaris Ride command. Its connected but only plays a few songs out of thousands. The progress bar shows the songs are playing but no volume except a few songs. Do you know what the issue is? This is a known issue but no answers on how to fix this. This has to be a software glitch.
MAYBE the bouncing and shock to the IPod is causing it to turn off; I had the problem in a my vehicle, until I used Pipe Insulation to cushion it in a secure/tight space.

you can't do group ride on here without your cell phone connected

Triple A, AAA has free maps for members nationwide available and most can be down loaded also

Is there a way to delete all previous rides easily without having to go in and delete one at a time?
Group ride with your phone only works with active cellphone tower coverage. If you're in the boonies it doesn't work.

Some models didn't or don't have a wifi module. Mine doesn't. Only Bluetooth.

Trail in east tennessee is WAY out of date. Alot of the trails are not there anymore..
does the group ride feature require cell service to see the other members in the group?
it does not if you have multiple ride command units!
