I like to think that the DS series teaches people to never give up, no matter the hardships, and that there are others going through similar situations.

The Soulsbourne games really helped me too, they were the instigating first step in freeing myself from the spiralling pit of depression and self-destruction I had inadvertently dug for myself. These games made me realise once again that working towards something can actually be so fulfilling, something I'd entirely forgotten after years of drug use completely commandeered my brain's perception of effort vs. reward and drained life of its colour, warmth and beauty, all of which returned triumphantly once I began appreciating life for what it is, and its simple pleasures... and it's mostly thanks to "Dark Souls" - especially the first two games - and "Bloodborne" that I aborted my pathological trajectory and came back down to the gorgeous Earth... (though it's a total digression, it's excruciatingly heartbreaking that the beauty of this planet is continuously under heinous attack, and may be gone for good within the next 200 years... in which case there will sadly be no consolation or peace for people like me... but anyway.....)

His mind taken over from the evil parasite of izalith and I swear to take my revenge on the great chaos bed, and may generations afterwards ward out the remaining demons. The Stray demon didn't get me, I expected it to be somewhere since they did just pass the bossroom but the crow got me off guard I did not expect it to be dancing aswell.
Honestly Destiny is the same way. Before the launch of the most recent DLC, just chilling in the tower, darkness is coming we must preparre...and bunch of guardians started flash mob dancing.
