Ye baat Ravi bhai ki bahut achchhi lagi ki Wo owners ko nayi gaadi ki drive experience dilate hain aur khud owner ki gaadi chalake comparison share karte hain. Ye unique hai. Iss se audience ki knowledge aur experience badhti hai saath saath audience aware hoti hai apni requirements se aur brands ki gimmick se bachti hai.
I might have a unpopular opinion but I believe that sedans and hatchbacks with low ground clearance are more fun to drive than SUVs.
I agree with you. The long sweeping corners of certain flyovers around NCR that dip and rise are the highlights of my daily driving experience. I drive an old Figo and an old Polo and recently test drove a Kushaq, a seltos and a nexon and neither of them felt as good as my small hatches. It pains to see both my old cars discontinued , perhaps because most people don’t think like me anymore. However the best car to drive through those sections surprisingly are a slavia, an i20 nline and an altroz. Would have got the new nline if it came with a proper 6 speed manual transmission and costed 1 lac less, because despite feeling so good to drive it’s risky to buy the Altroz because it’s a Tata. We literally don’t have a good drivers car anywhere around 10 lacs apart from the nline with its stupid gearboxes and a vast premium for having those.

Potholes are still existing in large number in indian city roads... Probably that ground clearance comes handy in that scenario but yeah i agree hatchbacks are surely fun to drive

Grand i10 bahut hi badiya car hai, main last 5 years se diesel Grand i10 use kar raha hu or maine recently apni car se 4500 km ka safar Ludhiana to Mumbai via Ujjain cover kiya hai, itni long drive karne ke baad bhi mujhe car ki performance kahin bhi down feel nahi huyi Or comfort ke mamle mein bhi ye apne segment mein 10/10 hai.
How much mileage u got
As a driver myself, i don't understand why you wanna sit high & see bonnet, in my case it feels like hatchback are much better to drive, visibility feels much better actually, mainly the judgement of spaces in city is more easy if bonnet isn't visible. So cars like, exter, punch, dosen't make sense over tigor, i10 etc anyday. I feel much confident if I sit low, no hatchback currently have bad ground clearance as well.

I have two cars at home. One without bonnet visibility and one with bonnet visibility. In city areas with a lot of traffic, bonnet visibility gives you more confidence to drive since you can see all the edges of the car.
I completely agree with you. And hate these pseudo SUVs by their design. People have made a joke of the compact no-nonsense stance of a small hatchback. As a child I always thought that even if I buy a car worth 70 lacs (which I perhaps never will) I would buy a small hatch. Drove a skoda fabia vrs, Hyundai i20 n and a ford focus RS which belonged to friends in Germany and came to the conclusion that you don’t need any better car than those…
@@sumeshn4698 bro i drive my baleno in delhi , 70-80% in bumper to bumper traffic. Never ever had visibility issues , have full confidence , and never touched the edges of my bumper from either side.
It's not about visibility, it's up to your skills of manoeuvring.
I personally think Exter ka price 70-85K badhega ek baar introductory price pe bookings close ho jaayen.. plus the discounts wont be there due to Waiting and high demand. But Swift ya Ignis pe for example noida-ghaziabad mein 15-20K ke discounts liye ja sakte hain..

Driven 5000 kms so far i10nios 2023 sportz Purchased in Gandhinagar Gujarat, Got total discount of 88,000 Gallops Hyundai Ahmedabad. On road price including 10,000 accessories was 7.5 Lakhs
So far my impressions.
Pros
AC works well
Infotainment system at this price point is the best
Cruise control a feature that would be used mostly on highways tpms is useful
Milege for 5000 kms showed 16
On Ahmedabad-Vadodra highway i have got max 22-23 kmpl on a 100 km strech
Apart from that went on a 800 kms trip with mixed road because of google maps which took me to different routes got 18kmpl on that trip in city on full ac and rash driving 14-17 kmpl based on driving.
Cons
On my long trip i realized that on big speed breakers and bumps and bad roads compared to swift baleno and punch i know punch is a different segment somewhere the frame build has some thud sound not the best feeling i would say
Otherwise the car is very smooth and perfect for city with good roads not ideal for long drives with bad roads.
Look for other options like exter, punch if budget is not an issue.

ye boot space ko 390L btana band karna chahiye. Its around 300L only. They are started adding the space above parcel tray to make it sound good. Boot space of Punch is 316L which shows in even official website, but its still advertised as 360 or something.

Toh agar kisi ko rear seats pe proper size ke adults baithaane ho , toh woh is price par Hatchbacks mein hi comfortably aayegein . Ye mini pseudo SUVs sirf office aane jaane ke kaam aayegein.

Nope, these mini suv are spacious as well. Ingress egress is easier, Headroom and boot space is more than hatchback. Only Pickup stability and mileage will be slightly less.
Rear seat for 2 persons, it is spacious..for 3 persons, very tight shoulder room..i20 is better in shoulder room..proper size ke adults bithane hai to..

Higher Ground Clearance means body roll also. These micro SUVs are hatchbacks on stilts only. They are not SUVs at all.

Sir is there any solution for stiff suspensions in nios. Chote bumps pe poori gadi hil jati hai....n do we have an option of installing cladding to stop pebble noise.

take test drive for both. as punch ph 2 owner the engine feels underpowered with low-end torque when loaded and gear shifting feels knotchy. everything else is good but those are the things that you'll feell often

I'm also in the same dilema, but I think the rear seat width of i20 is more, so it will seat 3 adults more comfortably, but again, the interiors of i20 are all black/dark, so it might feel claustrophobic too.

I was going to book Punch but the waiting period was high and then I asked about Exter to Hyundai then the RM was over ambitious and I din like his attitude .. waise koi kutta nahi puchta exter aa gayi toh hawabaazi chalu ho gayi.
Then I went for Fronx but top model for 14 lakhs and it's very small inside felt very claustrophobic and it felt as if I m in Baleno and Nexa has one of the best salesmen ...they were damn patient which handled all our queries from 7 to 11.
Then I booked Baleno top model.
Practical and loaded with features in 10.70.
So Companies are selling you hatchback with coating of SUV so there is no upgrade at all.

nios sports have many features like cruise control etc, in exter base u don't get many features as std features u get 2 air bags more in exter rather then nios it get 4 airbags
