Tiago & Tigor seriously need a facelift. Except the 4 star rating, what else they have to say though not making safety a second priority. But Tata, nowadays, charges more from the customers without any features. Just look at the newly launched Nexon and see the price bracket they have taken it, just capitalising on 'vocal for local'. Compete with the technology,bring a good 4-cyl engine for the cars like Tiago, Punch and Altroz.
I have both cars ,both are 3-4 months old.Nios engine & driving comfort is much better than Tiago. Where as Tiago's look is very much sporty & safety is also good.Tata have to improve the engine quality.
I totally agree with you. Tata should bring a good 4-cyl engine here, they had actually a good 4-cyl engine with Zest & Bolt models which were "so Powerful" to the current standards also. Sadly, they show 0 R&D on such things.

Extremely loud engine and khatara gearbox, extremely worst pickup in 2 gear are big negatives. I own 6.1 tiago 2022

Bribed by Tata, the way advantages of Nios was ignored specially the cruise control and 6 airbags of Nios. Such a stupendous comparison.
It doesn't matter how many airbags are there in a car. If the structure is weak the airbag will not help.
Cruise available in single top model. So you cannot take it as thing to make it good product. Tiago now has tasted and established brand. Disl. I am driving since 2016.
Every youtuber like dds.. Man n motor.. Ask guru.. Car duniya.. Car director.. Fuel inject and other... They said i10 is better than tiago. In evey terms xpt build quality..

Nios: premium, smart looking with excellent fit finish.
Spaciois interio with a refreshing dashboard.
Refined and smooth engine which is relaiable, tried and tested since 2 dacades and is low on maintenance. Also the sales and service of hyundia is good.
The only disappointing things is 2 star rating.. still its a perfect car for city commuters.
Tiago: 4 star rating.

2 star is for the old version . New version has much more enhanced safety features and will definitely perform better on safety rating
What is the i10 Nios mileage you're getting?
@@rajeshyellanki3171 i dont own a nios .. but it will defenitelly give you 15 to 16 in city trafffic and 20 to 21 in highways. rest it all depends on your driving skills and how well mainted you keep your car.

Bhai, I have both Tiago XZ Plus 2022 and Grand i10 nios sports. I must say, i10's engine, interior, and features are way ahead and premium in compare to tiago. i10 engine is so highly refined that usko chalane ka maza hi kuch alag hai. Tiago is not that much refined.
What is the i10 mileage you're getting?
@@rajeshyellanki3171 22-23kmpl in the long run especially on highways with the speed in between of 85-95kmph. I stay in tier 3 city. It gives 18-19 kmpl in it.
Which I feel in both case tiago gives more mileage than i10 and I am fine with little lower average.

@@rajeshyellanki3171 yes it gives. As i told I am from tier 3 city. No traffic james, no too many signals, not much of gear shifting. But yes, for tier 1 city, or tier 2 city, it might give between 13 to 15 kmpl average.

Auto folding mirror in Nios is missing? I drive sportz that also have that feature. Not apt comparison
Auto fold is not available in NIOS Sportz. There's a button in the door to open or close with one push. Tiago auto folds when you lock car.

Nios previous design was very nice..10,000 units sold monthly.
Because of front grill design in new facelift sales reduced to 5000..
Now Tiago sales increase to 8000...
Engine and features wise nios is better..
But look wise Tiago is good with 4 star safety..
Engine and performance of Tiago is better than nios...

Tiago is my first car and i have still kept it with me even aftrr upgrading to new car bcos of the love I have for my tiago. Its a 2017 model clocked 54000kms petrol. 70% on highway. I would say this car has all the qualities of a big car interms of handling and drive quality. Engine is also reliable.
Any rusting issues?
@@suhailahmad471 No issues at all. I regularly use WD40 spray once in 4 months. Door hinges, under bonet, boot hinges, window lines & all those areas where water stays for long hours after wash
Hey i feel this review is completely biased coz NIOS has to offer much more than the tiago except the body shell but also including 6 airbags in a car under 10l is a huge deal my pop owns a 2011 santro and we clocked 2l kms hyndai dosent mean i endorse the brand but video could have been balANCED THAN BRING COMPLETELY BIased
One thing I feel irritating for Tiago is auto fm start when we start vehicle. It must be saved as last which I used.
I personally drive both cars but on serious note, nios is more comfortable then tiago. Sitting posture gear position, and nios clutch is not so deep like tiago so i personally like nios.
i10 nios is much premium and fun to drive car, Tiago has good safety

@@karangupta2924 abesulately sir. I have driven both many times. Infact driving old model Tiago and new model NIOS and found Tiago better in any way. NIOS feels low in sitting. Driving comfort and sitting comfort both better in Tiago. In old model of Tiago only nvh level feels more and gear shift little hard which is surely being resolved in new models. So nothing to compare now.

Yes after the facelift in 2020 Tata Tiago got a balancer shaft like Tata Tigor.

Absolutely don't agree with your views on rear seat comfort. I have personally compared tiago with nios and nios has much much better recline angle and underthigh support compared to tiago. Definitely looks like a very very biased review deliberately meant to show tiago in better light which is not true

Which car should I prefer for hilly regions TAta or Suzuki ? Budget 10lac please suggest me a good cat with 175aprox ground clearance.
Go for cars with hill hold assist if u r looking for an automatic. Otherwise any car will serve the purpose. Suzuki might be a good choice if the selected model offers a 4-cyl engine. Tata, sadly do not offer a good engine with Tiago and Punch. You can go for Altroz & Nexon Turbo petrol and diesel variants, those have ample power to weight ratio since Tata cars are built strong with high quality steel.
I am interested only tiago.

Drive review is quite unrealistic in terms of engine performance, in the 1200cc NA segment Suzuki K series stands out first followed by Honda i vtec, Hyundai Kappa and Citroen Puretech, Tiago undoubtedly is a brilliant overall package in it's pricing for the safety and build quality but the engine refinement or power delivery is not par with competition
Tiago is so noisy and clearly struggles for power in hills i.e higher rpms needed. And he said engine pickup is better in Tiago.🤦🏼♂️
If we compare the price difference between nios & i20 ..magna it's mere 40k .. ( on road mumbai) one should go for i20 .. however between nios and tiago ...tiago is better choice

Are you reviewing for Tata? Tiago looks local and i10 looks classy. Chrome finish on Tiago looks very cheap. Except for safety rating, i10 is better than Tiago on all aspects. Tata models come and go - Sierra, Estate, Indica, Indigo and so on…😊

Hyundai is far better in comparison to after sales service. Tata is probably the worst, plus Hyundai cara are better in terms of interior cabin quality and also the electrical components.

I took test drive of both Tiago and i10 Nios which has clocked around 11000 KMS. Tiago worst engine with lot of vibrations. Service center team doesn't have idea about Engine vibrations and lack of technical knowledge about their products. Tata Service Team is not willing to attract customers on offering a good car for a test drive. With i10 Nios , Ride quality and comfort is very better. I moved with Nios. only Safety is good in TATA cars and very low performance in all other aspects.
