Isobe Candle Shop has been manufacturing handmade Japanese candles in this area for 300 years since the Edo period, using the same materials and techniques. The materials used are 100% wax wax refined from the nuts of the Japanese wax tree, Hazerow, which is indigenous to Japan. The core is made of Japanese paper and "igusa" fiber, the same material used in tatami mats. (1:40 ) At this time, the temperature of the wax is about 45-50 degrees Celsius.(4:11 ) Trim to length. (9:17 )
Isobe Candle Shop caught fire in the early morning of January 11, 2011 due to an electrical leak. The store, workshop, residence, and all the candle-making tools that had been handed down from generation to generation were reduced to ashes. The company almost gave up on rebuilding for a while, but on February 11, 2012, a new store was reconstructed and opened on the site of the old store. Many friends extended a helping hand to help revive the long-established, traditional candle store, leading to the opening of the new store in just one year. The new store's workshop is built with glass walls for easy viewing, and there is also a gallery space in the basement.
The characteristics of these candles are low soot, no wax spillage, wind-resistant, hard to extinguish, and complete combustion. Burning time varies depending on the size, but a candle weighing approximately 3.75 g will burn for 30 minutes.
Beautiful work and simple candles take a lot of time 😄 , but one question, after testing candles, what are they doing with those candles? Are they selling as it is or......? 🙏 thank you🙏.
I consider myself a quick reader but I think you should leave the subs up just a little longer. I'm talking about the subs at the beginning of the video, elsewhere they're fine Anyway thanks for the video, love the craftsmanship you show in you videos
Sadly the translations in all of the videos are bad or funny. Mostly i get everything by watching. But this time: What are the candles made of? Bees Wax? Stearine?

I get that they want to stick to the traditional methods of craftsmanship, but there must surely be a way to do this without touching it with your bare hands.
The skin of the craftsman's hands becomes thicker and more resistant to heat. And since it is only slightly hotter than bath water, we figured that delicate work was a priority.
What if you use a hole not for fixing, but as an air duct ... 👍Good product! but thin( 👍По толще бы делали, крутые свечки!

Just amazing work. Beautiful candles.

Thank you for this additional information!

Hi . Your's candles it's very beautiful working . You only doing same models or you doing more models . Good luck👏👏👍👍

Depending on the item, this is 50 minutes

nice candle and all but why did they cut so much off at the end? that was nearly a quarter of the length there.
Verdade
I think they were trimming them to the length of the wicks - it looked like it was only wax being trimmed off.
