What about a Lethal Company nuzlocke challenge? Dying on a moon will not only disable that moon, but also prevent you from using or selling all the items you died with.
I like this idea a lot!! I’m a big big fan of nuzlockes and was even running emerald kaizo for a time. I will put more thought into this after my work weekend and try to film something next week. High priority suggestion here so thank you for that! 🙏

@@stop-533 I’m working on a special ruleset for the Nuzlocke since only disabling a moon or disabling an item wouldn’t carry the same weight as losing a pokemon, especially since I’m used to either sending the same moons over and over (which can be optimal depending on the moon), but also playing without items (I mostly run a flashlight for convenience and better lighting for videos, but I’m perfectly comfortable without that too). goofy shenanigans + immersive gameplay loop + room for self-imposed challenges is a GREAT combo. Most fun I’ve had gaming + making videos in a long long time
Thank you! :) I'll definitely try it again as a duo, solo, in a group, as is, and with some of the suggestions shared in the comments here. Helps keep the gameplay fresh when collecting scrap serves additional objectives adjacent to the quota requirements!

My #1 cause of death will always be getting lost. Especially when it gets to the maze-like, usually dark hallways, it's super hard for me to remember where i have to go. It's why I actually love going to rend. The mansion layout has many more somewhat different looking landmarks compared to the other layout with its same-looking hallways where you can end up taking 30 different turns...
I feel that, a LOT easier to stay alive when you remember where your outs are! I've started leaving scrap trails behind me that lead me back to the exits. Doesn't work every time especially when your friends pick the scrap up but it's a strat! There's also the left/right wall hug strategy too, which is effective but I don't like using that one as much
this video is very entertaining, enjoyed every second of it. also, on march there can be easily 3-4 beehives which is free money, so if you have time left after the facility just farm those.
That's one of the reasons why march is my favorite free moon! this was before we learned that flashing with a radar booster can stun a giant though. We're pretty awful at navigating around giants otherwise
I like sharing whatever I can and whenever I can! There's so much going on beneath the surface of this simple game and it's super rewarding when you become aware of those elements and apply them to your gameplay. I'm hoping to shed more light on it all as I continue to upload videos!

Encouraging people to play the game, especially in ways they might not have thought of, is my goal with these videos so I'm glad this one has inspired you in that way :)
I once got the ghost girl on exp. I was trying to lure dogs to mess with him and when we were leaving i briefly saw her standing on an hill. Worst heart attack of my life
Lethal company has a lot of challenge potential imo, it's very fun to master and figure out strategies for certain planets or monsters. I have a few ideas for challenges and a few tweaks. 1. For the Iron Man challenge, 1 person dying shouldn't immediately fail the run when you have a full crew, but to compensate you can't bring back the bodies or any of the loot they had on them so you get some sort of penalty. 2. Golden Man challenge, pretty much the same as iron man but you have to get at least an A rank or higher on that moon. 3. Platinum Man challenge, again same thing but you have to get S rank and no one can die. 4. A Spin the Wheel with various tasks you have to complete on that moon, like; "Pest Control", Kill at least 3 monsters, or "More Power", you have to get the apparatus or else you fail. These are a few challenges I have thought of, this can extend for entire runs or quotas even. I like the idea of challenges like these but I don't really have a dedicated group to do it with. Edit: OK I just saw your other Wheel spin vid pop up in my recommended
I agree with Lethal Company having crazy challenge potential! That's why I'm here uploading every day. Not so much to demonstrate my own mastery (there are people FAR better than me at the game), but rather proof of concept of the game's challenge potential. 1. I like the idea of someone dying NOT failing a run right away, but not collecting their loot might be difficult to enforce in certain cases. I think this rule can flex depending on who you play with, but I like the idea of the run continuing but the dead person not participating for the rest of the run. ie, the run would die when everyone dies. 2/3. I like the idea of using ranks to determine minimum scrap collection per moon! Way better than picking an arbitrary number. I'll look into how accurate the grading system is though, as I got a B rating earlier today despite getting 383/383 scrap 4. I like the task wheel idea, I'm just trying to draft it in a way that can be completed on any map regardless of spawn. Not every map will have killable monsters, an apparatus, etc. But it's not impossible. Maybe the task wheel will be for the duration of the whole deadline, forcing you to go to moons that increase your odds of completing the task assigned to you
@@sheffaustin Yeah, wheel spins with less rng would be a better idea, as for the iron challenge, I came up with that idea half awake, I like people just not participating better, they can just sit on the ship and aren't allowed to help the others in anyway.
when the worm is about to come out, you go forwards because he apparently attacks at your current position while leaning more to the back so if you go back you die, speaking for expirience
ah okay, no wonder why I die 99% of the time lol. I thought the worm was approaching me from the front but thinking back about all the times I’ve seen it eat my friends on the monitor your info checks out. Forward it is!
You mentioning the ghost girl is funny. My first time playing lethal company my first map was experimentation and the first enemy I encountered was the ghost girl I didn’t even know it was that rare at the time
Ive noticed you give alot of cool facts while playing, especially about look rarity and monster spawns, you should make a video about all the random facts you know, i have over 100 hours in the game and have learned alot just by watching the playthrough, keep up the good work
@@NickDa3rd gold bars have a 0.21% chance to spawn on experimentation, a 0.63% chance to spawn on march, and they don’t spawn on any other vanilla map so I’m not surprised 😅 I have almost 90 hours in the game and am just now learning that they spawn on march, even though march is my most played map
@@vert3432 I got those percentages from the Lethal Company MiraHeze wiki whose drop tables I thought were datamined from the game, but someone pointed out another discrepancy to me on the wiki (specifically that you can actually kill spore lizards; the wiki says you can’t), so I’ve stopped treating those numbers as absolutes since then
thank you for the feedback! I cut out a lot of deadtime throughout the playthrough in an effort to keep the video more engaging, without taking out any of the important details. I realized in watching my footage back that I speak in intervals since I’m constantly switching between focusing on what I want to say and paying attention to what’s going on in the game, so I cut a lot of the space between my sentences out lol
that’s how I consume most of my youtube content especially since I commute for an hour and a half every day I work, so I wanted to make videos that I would actually “watch” too! Glad you enjoyed this one 🙏
In the few hours I have put into Lethal Company, the in-game VOIP is what makes this game honestly a great horror game. So a challenge depending on crew size could be no walkie-talkies or teleporters. If your a real masochist, you must be constantly making noise and play with a mod that spawns the eyeless dogs off the bat.
@@sheffaustin I honestly forgot about eclipse, since I'm not the one who hosted during the about 6 hours I've put in. I might try to convince my buddies to do Eclipse only for a run.
A strat, that might not be allowed but would definitely help, could be intentionally going to the company building repeatedly between the last moons, to skip to the quota day and sell loot at 100% to get money for the next moon, so you can sell your Rend loot to fund the Dine trip and your Dine loot to fund your Titan trip. I think there might be a loophole in the rules besides that though, that you don't have to *do* anything on Titan? You could just land on Titan then leave, though even just getting there is a hard enough task for the challenge to mean something
ah I see, thanks for pointing that out! I’m glad I posted this video as is, because so many people have shared some great suggestions and are helping me refine the current ruleset or come up with completely new ones. While I don’t think skipping deadline days to sell at 100% would be in the spirit of the run, I wouldn’t have been mad if someone did that once just to exploit the ruleset. I’d be more proud in having found that loophole than in completing the challenge that way since that’s clearly easier but also something I clearly overlooked. As for the Titan thing, I never explicitly said it but the plan was to actually collect a piece of scrap and call it there. But now that I think about it that might be just as easy since Titan tends to spawn scrap right at the entrance Maybe another way to handle that is to be required to meet the quota right after you come back from Titan, and not play the 9th day? but that also seems pretty easy. I’ll think about it more when I actually make it that far, and also suffers from the “land and then leave for 100%” strat lol. I’ll think about it a bit more before I give the challenge another go!
What if lethal company but everyone's challenge PER MOON IS RANDOMIZED. Mute till x time Can only turn x direction (left or right. Or not at all for more pain.) Constant blabber mouth. Jumping jacks. Constantly jumping BEES! (Bee collection duty) Spendaholic (must buy equipment) (respin if starting) Metal gear. Must carry a metal gear at all times (respin if not possible) Moon walk. When on the surface. Must walk backwards. Cannot jump or sprint. You get the idea. I think it'd add a bunch of fun to multiplayer runs of the game trying to see how much you can make with so much weird teamwork. And I'm sure there's plenty more ideas people can come up with. One more before I go. RAMPU! must have all slots be flashlights. And will only follow the other player that says it first. Every time after the first they will turn the lamp on or off... If they say "lamp" for any reason . RAMPU must drop the flashlight in their hand. If the player has no more flashlights they must throw themselves into the nearest void.
never watched this channel but wanna say, feel free to do both single and w friends, but as a viewer with friends is always so much more entertaining. + love how serious ur gaming is lol love it

this was entertaining and I like the idea of the iron man challenge, I have also never seen someone who actually replies with full messages to every single comments, keep up the good work!
I do too! I’ve been getting a lot of comments asking for me to bring this back so that’s gonna be my focus for the next week or so I also try to reply to every comment to show my appreciation for people sharing their thoughts with me in the first place! the support I’ve received in these past two months or so has been insane, so I want to match that energy in whichever ways I find possible 🙏 I’m trying to do youtube full-time by the end of the year and I’m already pretty close, so I have every reason to be as active as I am now and for as long as I can! 🫡
I did this challenge with my friend and we made sure to have $500 after the first quota, and then had $1300 after the second quota. We successfully completed the iron man!
You can make it harder by making it that the items that you used on a moon can't be used on any other moons so if you use a shovel in rend you can't use the sovel in any other moon
I thought about that, but if we don't use items to begin with then the restriction doesn't feel too bad. I'll have to think about how to incorporate items at some point, but if you check out my spin the wheel videos I make it a requirement to bring an item with me on every run!
@@youssefmahany3859 I'll look into it! The yield sign and diy flashbang are a LOT worse than their store-bought counterparts so it could be funny incorporating them into a challenge!
thank you for watching! I’ll be revisiting this challenge soon with a few different twist. I’ve been having a blast playing this game and making these videos, so I hope you continue to enjoy what I put out! :)
maybe for a tougher version of the challenge you have to do a whole quota on each moon and only using scrap from that moon. That way you need to do 8 whole quotas and commit to each moon regardless of the weather. You didn't need to tryhard that much on Experimentation day 1. You only need 1900 total for the whole challenge and you're trying to leave with 500 on Day 1. You only need like 550 for Rend on first quota which is easy playing safe even solo.
whole quota on each moon is in the works! but I actually think that’s easier than the iron man. The reason why we tried so hard to get scrap early is because we not only needed the 550 for Rend on the second quota, but we would also need the 1300 by the end of the second quota to be able to go to dine and titan back to back in the third quota. Whatever extra scrap we could get from the safer moons would help us survive tougher moons and unfavorable weather conditions In order to make that much, assuming we don’t spend our starting 60 credits, we would need to collect ~300 scrap per moon in the first and second quotas in order to afford both Dine and Titan on third quota. Could always sell whatever we collect on Dine for 33% value to contribute to the Titan fund though, so the actual number could be lower.
just got over 800 solo with no items quota 1 but got Eclipsed on March and couldn't safely make it to an entrance so I went to Rend, got Eclipsed again but at least got a few hundred out. I was 315 behind what I needed for both Dine and Titan so I realized I'd need about 600 from Dine to sell at the reduced rate and had over 560 but got eaten by an Earth Leviathan on my way back with the second load of scrap. I left behind a $19 metal sheet on Offense because I didn't think it'd be worth it but with that and the loot I got from Dine I would've had enough. The challenge isn't too hard as long as you don't get screwed over on weather. It should be fairly easy with 2 people if you plan things out a bit more.
@@potato4dawin1 Sounds like a good run! The challenge is definitely intended for one person since it should be ezpz duo+ if you know what you're doing and play it safe. I liked the idea of this format since the challenge would only take 8 moons at most to complete, which can make for a short and sweet gaming sesh. The other open-ended challenges can take a few hours and sometimes multiple sessions to complete which, while a good display of skill, just takes a lot of time. But that's why I'm doing what I can to grow a following here on youtube and make it as a content creator. I'd love to push myself to my limits as a gamer, but pushing myself as a creator takes priority at this time. I have just as much fun coming up with new challenges and putting them out there for people to try as I do in trying my hand at them myself. Would never propose a game mode that I wouldn't personally enjoy. That said, I'm glad that you're giving this challenge a shot and did even better than we did! The next step is being able to do the challenge while every moon is eclipsed, and there's now an eclipse only mod to do just that. So I'll be attempting that run in the near future
imo you should set a money goal for each planet like 100 200 300 etc so you can't just get a bunch of money at the start to avoid having to do anything at the later ones. You can still get more at the earlier ones, just w/ this you have to do shit on the later ones too
I like that idea! I had a similar one where you have to grab at least one scrap item from every moon for each person. I think it’s fair to have to actually play every moon, wouldn’t feel like a proper challenge if you could bypass unfavorable setups I’ll especially consider money goals for multiplayer runs since having even one more person makes the challenge significantly easier (despite what my own showcase might say, lol). If we want to stay vanilla, maybe you have to buy a jetpack every time you visit the company building. That’s probably fair for a 4-stack and should provide a proper challenge
Me and my friends do a variation of this where you go to each moon for a full cycle before continuing - the difficulty comes in from the profit you need to make as once you hit Dine its typically in the thousand+
that's correct! Only if you prolong your glance though. Sometimes it's good to keep checking to make sure he's actually retreating because sometimes a quick glance won't register and he'll just get you normally
nah I definitely noticed, that’s why I kept glancing back at him to make sure he was actually backing away and not coming towards me! a little hard to talk when tracking/managing a bracken lol
I enjoy the fun and goofiness of first encounters, but after I've experienced something once that's a sign for me to either stop playing if I didn't like the game or start getting good if I enjoyed it. I super enjoy the gameplay loop this game has to offer as well as the low entry barrier for the game to be a fun challenge, which is why I'm able to play so much and upload every day
guys quick think of something that will make it harder because he told us to in the beginning getting hurt by one monster will force you to drop one of your item key or not, equipment or not you have to drop it
I got that information from the Lethal Company miraheze, which was datamined from the vanilla game files the only time I’ve ever had coilheads on experimentation was during modded playthroughs
I think that would just be optimal! The only reason we bought flashlights was for better lighting in the video, and I'd rather not just raise the gamma as an alternative I think the penalty should be that we're REQUIRED to buy items, maybe like the cosmetic ones, thereby taking away from our moon funds!
@@Ciboullete I want to say it's client-side so not everyone needs it, but I can't say with 100% certainty that there won't be weird bugs if only a few people have the mods, especially if other mods get added to the mix too If you ever run into any trouble with how the game runs, I would look into ensuring everyone's running the same mods and the same configurations for them!
You can also just straight up run forward and jump from the fire exit. You don't take any damage if you land on the pole and then jump down. I do that all of the time
I'm thinking that one way of making it harder would be to tweak some settings to be higher with each moon as you go along. Or maybe special challenges with each moon
I like some of the suggestions that have been shared here in regard to increasing the difficulty. Still gonna try to beat the base version in the meantime since I haven’t even done that yet 😂 I like the moon-specific challenges though, I’ll brainstorm some challenges around that 👀
I thought it was strange for spore lizards of all things to be invincible, but I never tested it because I thought it was funny and I like having them around. Killing them could also give something actually dangerous an opportunity to spawn in its place That said, I’ve stumbled upon some mods that give killable creatures a drop table so I might have to bring a shovel to them for science…
@@sheffaustin i do agree i usually leave them and the hoarder bugs alone so thats theres less chance of something more dangerous, also pro tip the slimes cant open doors and you can run jump over them so you can trap them in rooms if you have the time
I think the play then is to drop the loot before it even reaches you so you can get away before it jumps, and then bring everything back one by one. Once the worm starts its attack it's already over most of the time for both the person and the loot
Worms are dodgeable with loot but you can't just run forward and expect things to work out. They predict where you're going to be based on the direction you were already going
@@clawcaps3224 As far as I can tell, that's not actually true. When the worm decides to attack it teleports so that you're directly in the center of the attack area. The amount of time it takes before it breaks the surface and kills you is randomized, though, so sometimes you can easily escape and sometimes it's actually impossible even with 0 lbs (although rarely). When it's roaming it just chases after you like any other creature does. It's slow but it's hard to know exactly where it is to avoid it, often it's in front of or beside you, especially if you're moving fast. That's where the "run backwards" strats come from, although I'm not convinced they actually help at all.
I made this one: The true offence challenge You have to kill every killable entity without dying. You have to kill every entity you see even if you have already killed it before ,this includes the bracken.
thank you! 🙏 in this one I want to say the only mods we were playing with here were ShipLoot so we wouldn’t have to bother with making separate loot piles, and then MoreCompany for the cosmetics
idk if the rock was above me, I want to say it was just beside the rock with me. as someone who dies to sand worm too many times I’m not trusting what anyone says about being safe from worms unless it’s running away from them lmao
@@sheffaustin Yeah I've seen a lot of people repeating the advice that worms can't jump up through solid terrain like walkways or rocks but I'm not convinced it's true. Plenty of stuff in this game can just clip through solid objects when they need to, I doubt the worms are complex enough to check for blocking terrain.
I want to say we were only using MoreCompany and ShipLoot here! As well as whatever dependencies those mods have. MoreCompany so we could have the hats, and ShipLoot for better item scans.
I wonder if getting enough money for a teleporter early on might be nice. I think teleporting corpses onto the ship can help you save money by avoiding fines, and maybe it'll save you in a pinch?
I was thinking about that in my duo run with my friend Larry yesterday, though I think you’d have to be really really lucky to even be able to afford a teleporter early 🙃 teleporter might be nicein one of my future group ironman formats though! duo ironman with Larry goes up tomorrow, group ironman sometime soon 👀
to make it harder you could try and get every item on each moon, i know this might be impossible because there is one spot where you cant grab the item its on the beam you use to jusp but the spot is further down under the path you walk on
I’ll look into it! I’ve full cleared some of the free moons before but I’m not sure it’s possible to full clear the paid ones in vanilla if not just for the sheer amount of scrap that spawns on each moon
Making the game harder, adding mods to make it hard, like that copy voice mod. And if possible increase the quota, decrease the scrap money, and increase the spawn rate and possibly make every moons eclipsed
I like the decrease the scrap value idea, I’ll look into that! I also have plans for eclipse only and modded difficulty modifiers so stay tuned for those 👀
How about a challenge where you have to kill at least one of the entities that is present on the moon and bring back its body, or remove the apparatus from the area before you can progress.
I like these! just gotta guarantee that there are killable entities or an apparatus in the first place. would be a shame if a run ended just because conditions out of your control weren’t met
I just had a run were i was considering restarting cus a teammate fell into the lake but we found a goldbar! One one of the easy moons! Run was instantly saved.
I'll try that once I've completed the challenge at least once 😅I've done a one item slot challenge run though if you want to check that out! have two uploads on my channel for that
I kinda like that! Though I think the loadout would be x pro flashlights and y shovels. We don't really use items all that much. Maybe we just get one of everything off rip, including flashlights, and are required to carry at least one store item with us

Although the video is long, your communication was really great and makes me want to play the game even more than I do now !!❤
Encouraging people to play the game, especially in ways they might not have thought of, is my goal with these videos so I'm glad this one has inspired you in that way :)
this video is cool i guess🙄 (It really is awesome!! you put so much effort into it!! thank you for entertaining us!!😊)
Thank you! Next is putting effort into actually completing the challenge I put together for myself 😂
I once got the ghost girl on exp. I was trying to lure dogs to mess with him and when we were leaving i briefly saw her standing on an hill. Worst heart attack of my life
such a great decision to give the ghost girl a spawn value on the intro map 😂
I'll look into how accurate the grading system is though, as I got a B rating earlier today despite getting 383/383 scrap
Bro LOVES getting eaten by the worm.
I would rather face forest giants at this point tbh, this session gave me worm-related ptsd
Happy New Years from Wales! Glad for my first video of this year to be from your channel
happy new year to you too!! this is a super cool comment to read :) thank you for your kind words!
You mentioning the ghost girl is funny. My first time playing lethal company my first map was experimentation and the first enemy I encountered was the ghost girl I didn’t even know it was that rare at the time
that just sets an insane precedent for monster encounters in the game 😂
Ive noticed you give alot of cool facts while playing, especially about look rarity and monster spawns, you should make a video about all the random facts you know, i have over 100 hours in the game and have learned alot just by watching the playthrough, keep up the good work
The amout of pain i felt when you lost that gold bar was s9 sadding
I was so happy to see it too 🙃
@@sheffaustinive have 35 hours in the game and I have yet to find a gold bar
@@NickDa3rd gold bars have a 0.21% chance to spawn on experimentation, a 0.63% chance to spawn on march, and they don’t spawn on any other vanilla map so I’m not surprised 😅 I have almost 90 hours in the game and am just now learning that they spawn on march, even though march is my most played map
@@sheffaustin I copped one on Rend at least once, playing vanilla.
@@vert3432 I got those percentages from the Lethal Company MiraHeze wiki whose drop tables I thought were datamined from the game, but someone pointed out another discrepancy to me on the wiki (specifically that you can actually kill spore lizards; the wiki says you can’t), so I’ve stopped treating those numbers as absolutes since then
Great Video ngl talking in the video throughout it to keep me in
thank you for the feedback!
Very good video, it’s a great video to leave on in the background due to the mostly mellow mood through it all
that’s how I consume most of my youtube content especially since I commute for an hour and a half every day I work, so I wanted to make videos that I would actually “watch” too! Glad you enjoyed this one 🙏
In the few hours I have put into Lethal Company, the in-game VOIP is what makes this game honestly a great horror game. So a challenge depending on crew size could be no walkie-talkies or teleporters. If your a real masochist, you must be constantly making noise and play with a mod that spawns the eyeless dogs off the bat.
eclipse only iron man and you MUST carry an active boombox the whole time 👀
@@sheffaustin I honestly forgot about eclipse, since I'm not the one who hosted during the about 6 hours I've put in. I might try to convince my buddies to do Eclipse only for a run.
@@DannyCapM8 there’s an eclipse only mod out now too, gonna play around with that this week!
dude good challenge idea! absolutely going to try
Let me know how it goes! I’m gonna try it again soon, but I want every moon to be eclipsed next time lol
But now that I think about it that might be just as easy since Titan tends to spawn scrap right at the entrance
Maybe another way to handle that is to be required to meet the quota right after you come back from Titan, and not play the 9th day? but that also seems pretty easy. I’ll think about it more when I actually make it that far, and also suffers from the “land and then leave for 100%” strat lol. I’ll think about it a bit more before I give the challenge another go!
I’ve never seen such a profitable expermantation
that's why it hurt so much when we died lmao
What if lethal company but everyone's challenge PER MOON IS RANDOMIZED.
Mute till x time
Can only turn x direction (left or right. Or not at all for more pain.)
Constant blabber mouth.
Jumping jacks. Constantly jumping
BEES! (Bee collection duty)
Spendaholic (must buy equipment) (respin if starting)
Metal gear. Must carry a metal gear at all times (respin if not possible)
Moon walk.
I like these suggestions!! especially the ones that aren’t map/scrap/monster dependent. I will consider these for a future challenge run! 😁

I also try to reply to every comment to show my appreciation for people sharing their thoughts with me in the first place! the support I’ve received in these past two months or so has been insane, so I want to match that energy in whichever ways I find possible 🙏
I’m trying to do youtube full-time by the end of the year and I’m already pretty close, so I have every reason to be as active as I am now and for as long as I can! 🫡
I did this challenge with my friend and we made sure to have $500 after the first quota, and then had $1300 after the second quota. We successfully completed the iron man!
good job!! you’re better ironmen than we are 😂🫡
You can make it harder by making it that the items that you used on a moon can't be used on any other moons so if you use a shovel in rend you can't use the sovel in any other moon
I thought about that, but if we don't use items to begin with then the restriction doesn't feel too bad. I'll have to think about how to incorporate items at some point, but if you check out my spin the wheel videos I make it a requirement to bring an item with me on every run!
ok how about if the challenge included things like stop and yield signs and all ship upgrades and the diy flashbang
@@sheffaustin
@@youssefmahany3859 I'll look into it! The yield sign and diy flashbang are a LOT worse than their store-bought counterparts so it could be funny incorporating them into a challenge!

thank you for watching! I’ll be revisiting this challenge soon with a few different twist. I’ve been having a blast playing this game and making these videos, so I hope you continue to enjoy what I put out! :)
@@sheffaustin I think I will! your videos are very charming :)
maybe for a tougher version of the challenge you have to do a whole quota on each moon and only using scrap from that moon.
Whatever extra scrap we could get from the safer moons would help us survive tougher moons and unfavorable weather conditions
In order to make that much, assuming we don’t spend our starting 60 credits, we would need to collect ~300 scrap per moon in the first and second quotas in order to afford both Dine and Titan on third quota.
@@sheffaustin btw you'd be selling what you get on Dine at ~53% so it's not too bad.
@@potato4dawin1 thought it was 33% for some reason, my b. 53% is WAY better and a way stronger contender for consideration
imo you should set a money goal for each planet like 100 200 300 etc so you can't just get a bunch of money at the start to avoid having to do anything at the later ones. You can still get more at the earlier ones, just w/ this you have to do shit on the later ones too
I like that idea! I had a similar one where you have to grab at least one scrap item from every moon for each person. I think it’s fair to have to actually play every moon, wouldn’t feel like a proper challenge if you could bypass unfavorable setups
I’ll especially consider money goals for multiplayer runs since having even one more person makes the challenge significantly easier (despite what my own showcase might say, lol). If we want to stay vanilla, maybe you have to buy a jetpack every time you visit the company building. That’s probably fair for a 4-stack and should provide a proper challenge
hell yeah another upload!
i agree
I have more solo content coming up this week too!
That ending tho :D
he shouldn't have went for the ladder 😂
@@sheffaustin better luck next time I guess :D
what about something to do when you get to titan like survive until 12 am or get a certain amount of scrap before you are allowed to leave
Both challenges are in the works!
Me and my friends do a variation of this where you go to each moon for a full cycle before continuing - the difficulty comes in from the profit you need to make as once you hit Dine its typically in the thousand+
I saw Thalonius do a run like that too! I’m down to try it at some point. Both solo and as a duo!
If you look at the bracken again while he's retreating he'll come get you
that's correct! Only if you prolong your glance though. Sometimes it's good to keep checking to make sure he's actually retreating because sometimes a quick glance won't register and he'll just get you normally
Ghost girl is a 1/200 chance on experimentation
0.44% chance specifically! at least according to the Miraheze Wiki
Bro amazing idea, make it modded. Any mods would do but mods and more friends would make it amazing.
working on it since that seems to be the most requested change here!
at 25:51 exactly the brackern is just standing there looking at him lol I don't think he noticed.... spooky
nah I definitely noticed, that’s why I kept glancing back at him to make sure he was actually backing away and not coming towards me! a little hard to talk when tracking/managing a bracken lol
It’s nice to watch a video with more strategy with playing lethal company. As fun as all the viral goofy videos have been there’s a shit ton of them.
I enjoy the fun and goofiness of first encounters, but after I've experienced something once that's a sign for me to either stop playing if I didn't like the game or start getting good if I enjoyed it. I super enjoy the gameplay loop this game has to offer as well as the low entry barrier for the game to be a fun challenge, which is why I'm able to play so much and upload every day
guys quick think of something that will make it harder because he told us to in the beginning
getting hurt by one monster will force you to drop one of your item key or not, equipment or not you have to drop it
this makes me want to do a hitless ironman now 👀
That first run was so good. Would've easily made the entire gamut if you got out I think.
I still think about that gold bar to this day
Not sure the table at 1:19 is right because I spent too long trying to kill the hygrodere
yeah that’s definitely not accurate, hygrodere is not killable afaik
That coilhead 0% chance on experimentation is an absolute lie
That little shit snuck up on me and almost got my ass on EXPERIMENTATION
I got that information from the Lethal Company miraheze, which was datamined from the vanilla game files
the only time I’ve ever had coilheads on experimentation was during modded playthroughs
Mods. On vanilla it is actually 0%.
If you want to make this Hell, you could make it so you can't buy anything except new moons
I think that would just be optimal! The only reason we bought flashlights was for better lighting in the video, and I'd rather not just raise the gamma as an alternative
I think the penalty should be that we're REQUIRED to buy items, maybe like the cosmetic ones, thereby taking away from our moon funds!
Challenge idea: You have to use the inverse teleporter a minimum of 3 times
I like the idea of forced inverse teleporter, I’ll look into it 👀

You can also just straight up run forward and jump from the fire exit. You don't take any damage if you land on the pole and then jump down. I do that all of the time
thanks for the tip! 🙏
I'm thinking that one way of making it harder would be to tweak some settings to be higher with each moon as you go along. Or maybe special challenges with each moon
I like some of the suggestions that have been shared here in regard to increasing the difficulty. Still gonna try to beat the base version in the meantime since I haven’t even done that yet 😂

@@sheffaustin fair enough, also cool that you saw my comment 😁
@@Rekz00 I think it's cooler that you clicked on my video! Thank you for sharing :)
the experimental spawn rate is wrong on one thing, you can kill the spore lizard!!!
I thought it was strange for spore lizards of all things to be invincible, but I never tested it because I thought it was funny and I like having them around. Killing them could also give something actually dangerous an opportunity to spawn in its place
That said, I’ve stumbled upon some mods that give killable creatures a drop table so I might have to bring a shovel to them for science…
@@sheffaustin i do agree i usually leave them and the hoarder bugs alone so thats theres less chance of something more dangerous, also pro tip the slimes cant open doors and you can run jump over them so you can trap them in rooms if you have the time
The sandworm deletes everything above it, so dropping loot doesn't really work unless you're lucky with placement
That's where the "run backwards" strats come from, although I'm not convinced they actually help at all.
gold bar on exp is crazy
id honestly just call this all moons flawless rather than duo ironman, sounds alot more complete
ironman was more of a nod to my background in both osrs and melee, both of which have their own ironman modes!

Watching the first round flubb from an earth worm hurt my soul seeing all that money vanish
I still think about it everyday 🥲
I made this one:
The true offence challenge
You have to kill every killable entity without dying. You have to kill every entity you see even if you have already killed it before ,this includes the bracken.
i like the vibe of you and your homie, im gonna sub. and are yall playing with mods or nah?
thank you! 🙏 in this one I want to say the only mods we were playing with here were ShipLoot so we wouldn’t have to bother with making separate loot piles, and then MoreCompany for the cosmetics
Note to self: Worms can go through rocks that are above you.
idk if the rock was above me, I want to say it was just beside the rock with me. as someone who dies to sand worm too many times I’m not trusting what anyone says about being safe from worms unless it’s running away from them lmao
To make the challenge more difficult put every moon eclipsed
Could you share what mods were you using?
I want to say we were only using MoreCompany and ShipLoot here! As well as whatever dependencies those mods have. MoreCompany so we could have the hats, and ShipLoot for better item scans.
Bruh how did you guys get a gold bar in experimentation, its literally a 0.18% chance
when I saw that I was like “wait we might actually have a shot at doing this!”
what a way to take advantage of a 0.18% drop though 😂
a idea is for you to survive as long as possible on a moon, without leaving the facility until 11:00, and do this for every moon.
Got a run like that in the works, except we can't even pull the lever at 11 we just have to let the ship autopilot lol
Great video!
I’ve full cleared some of the free moons before but I’m not sure it’s possible to full clear the paid ones in vanilla if not just for the sheer amount of scrap that spawns on each moon
i have an idea where you must survive until the ship auto leaves at 12 am.
that one's already on my to-do list! Ghost girls are gonna go crazy in that format 😂
How do you know how many items there are on a moon? (Counting ten on experimentation)
you can type “Scan” on the terminal to see how many items there are on any given moon!
I think its much better to use rage necklace and giant gauntlet, it will be done in seconds, trust me

thank you! I'm working on some different variations of this Ironman challenge too (the obvious one being solo ironman!)
Just jump on the power pole outside the fire exit, then fall down from it. no damage. simpler
Do it with only picking up 1 item at a time
I'll try that once I've completed the challenge at least once 😅I've done a one item slot challenge run though if you want to check that out! have two uploads on my channel for that
Idea: you can only buy items once, so buying 12 items max one time without being able to buy anything ever until the end of the challenge
I kinda like that! Though I think the loadout would be x pro flashlights and y shovels. We don't really use items all that much. Maybe we just get one of everything off rip, including flashlights, and are required to carry at least one store item with us
