She is a very talented hard working woman
Yes a smaller pulley. I could see the motor was made very well. So with these motors the sooner it gets up to speed that will stop any excessive current draw on startup. The inductance kicks in and then, all is well. This channel is the best and all is done correctly. Cheers from Australia

I'd have the owner check his power leads to the motor. The possibility of "dirty" lines would aid in the burn out. The smaller pulley was an excellent solution as well.
Linguoer created a device that would pull out windings but she isn't using it here? Anyway, it's relaxing just watching her refurbish motors...she is the boss!
