This tour was wonderful! My grandmother had a gift shop in the 60s filled with milk glass, Shelley China, costume jewelry and more. Besides that she inherited Victorian glassware and had an extensive crystal collection, not to mention depression glass here and there. So your videos are a walk back in time for me! So glad I found your channel!

So much beauty in one space! I LOVE when you go to the glass shows and we can soak in all those beautiful patterns and colors. I'm still partial to so much of the clear glass, though. I noticed a pair of gorgeous clear, dolphin candlesticks with trumpet shaped, etched hurricanes toward the beginning of the video. Just found them again - at 3:27. They remind me of my grandmother's pair and leave me wondering where they are now. Her candlesticks were Boston Sandwich glass but I'm not sure of the maker of the bobeches with the long, cut crystals and the shades. Hers were very similar to these and I was a little afraid of them as a child - I thought the dolphins looked like monsters! 😂 Most of the time they lived on the mantel in her living room, but on holidays they made their way onto the dining room table to preside over the festivities.
I also loved the tall matching, lidded, etched cranberry jars to the left of the cobalt hock glasses at 8:35. I don't know exactly what they're called, but they're beautiful and I covet them! 😂
I love the American Brilliant pieces you took home - absolutely stunning and at bargain prices! My father was a lover of American Brilliant cut glass and I bought him several smaller pieces like mustard jars, jam pots, small bowls, etc when I was in high school as his gifts for Christmases.
Thanks so much for taking us along.

Thanks for another great video! I went to the show on Saturday and that Waterford lamp had to come home with me. The price was incredible. I’ve had one half the size for many years and I paid over $300. in the 90’s. Looking forward to your video on the reopening of the Charity Guild.

Love your videos! Replacements has a great youtube video called "Vintage to Vogue" where they mix up a pattern of China and give it so many different looks! It's fantastic if you don't have a complete set of anything. Also, IMHO, complete sets and being too matchy-matchy are not my style. I prefer the "I found it out in the wild" (thrift stores, garage sales, etc) look. Thanks for posting this video!

Wow, from the beginning I spy a milk glass cake plate on a pedestal. The watermelon glass was lovely; I have a few pieces & also like to combine green & pink depression glass with my dishes featuring pink & green colors. I treasure pink Royal Lace salad plates with cups & saucers which was one of the last gifts from my mother. I use a tall green etched depression glass in my bathroom to hold my makeup brushes & another blue glass for toothbrushes. Thanks for sharing a tour of this glass show with us; it was a delight to the eyes along with an education.

I went to a glass show here in Sacramento last month. It was a quarter the size of your glass show - super disappointing! None of the vendors had my beloved vintage neodymium/Alexandrite glass.

I recently started collecting small colored glass items. They look like stained glass grouped together in the sun light. Also, they don’t take up too much space.

Just don't tell allll the YT resellers shopping thrift stores and antique malls who dismiss beautiful, high quality clear glass and crystal with an arched eyebrow, a sigh and a quick "And there's the clear glass - I never bother with it. It all looks the same."
