    Soon we will make lesson Zero for those who first time want to try it and don't know how to start(what skates and wheels you need, what floor, what exercises, first small "slides").
    Also, you can choose special inline skates for Slides on our USA online store - InMoveSkates.com

    Thank you for the great video!
    I am wondering what type of wheels you were for the slides.

    • @Inmoveskates
      @Inmoveskates  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In this video one of the skaters use 85A and another skater use 88A wheels.
      Usually people use 84A and more up to 90A for slides.
      Also, we use wax candle to make floor more slippery. Because now in competitions we have too slippery floor, so if you want to learn very hard and long slides in future, it's better to start training on slippery floor.
      But of course, if you want to slide just for your self in city, it's better to use usual concrete.
      80A it's too soft. Of course, you can do, but it harder to do and you will need to change your wheels more often. But try with wax candle.

    What's the best hardness durameter of wheels for slalom slides?

    • @Inmoveskates
      @Inmoveskates  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On asphalt - 88-90A. And cheap price, because slides will destroy your wheels anyway.
      Usually it’s FR Slides or Chinese(NoName) wheels.
      However, you can slide in branded 85-86A as well. The wheel hardness will go up once your wheels are smaller (for example they were 80mm new and now 70mm).

    Thank you for the nice tutorials!
    I can do a powerslide and soul. I come to a stop very quickly, i can't use less pressure on the sliding foot, because i need to flex the ankle in order to avoid the wheels biting in the asphalt. i use 84mm skates with 83 hardness. Can i assume it will become a lot easier if i change to harder wheels? also, when i powerslide i always unintentionally make a curve, how can i fix that?

    Is it possible to stop withe every skates? I have got the K2 Midtown Skates with 80mm and 83 A. Is it possible to do these stops with my skates? Thanks for answering me

      Unfortunately, we don't have this model to try on slides. Maybe we can try different wheels, but not skates.

  • @alinaoprea8289
    @alinaoprea8289 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi. Greetings from Romania! :)
    Question: how can you not brake during slides? Looks like a T brake... how can you not stop quickly? How much pressure is on the transverse skate?
    Thanks!

    • @Inmoveskates
      @Inmoveskates  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      alina oprea Hello :)
      Use hard wheels 84-90A(usually 85-88A), more weight on not sliding foot(for long slides), use good angle for sliding foot(as on video, bend your knee enough).
      And of course for long slides find slippery ground(or wax asphalt). But for middle length slides you can use any asphalt.
      Have a good skating

    Hello! What hardness the wheels must be if i weight around 155lbs = 72 kilos for power slides and stops

    @gpczeppelin9625 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I just mastered the powerslide (the easiest one) now which one should be next? What is the 2nd easiest one? Give me some advice please

    • @Inmoveskates
      @Inmoveskates  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gpc Zeppelin T-stop, Power stop(power slide), parallel stop - most useful to stop and most popular.
      Try acid and soul slides and after that magic slide.

    • @gpczeppelin9625
      @gpczeppelin9625 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      acid: almost done
      Soul: it's just ugly. I don't like it (It looks like I need to piss)
      magic and parallel: still way too hard.
      Thanks anyway

    Do you need a particular wheel hardness for this?
    I'm always skating over outdoor concrete floors that with my actual 80A wheel are awesomely grippy. It looks like I couldn't do any slides

    What hardness of wheels do you recommend? Also im guessing sliding can't be done on just any pavement?

    • @SPINERbg
      @SPINERbg 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The harder the better, generally people use wheels above 85A hardness. The ones in the video seem like 88A-89A. Look for smooth pavement with the smallest bumps possible. Polished finished concrete is not recommended as it can stick sometimes.
