- Thank you so much for tuning in to our ninth Q&A of the KAL! I asked y’all to send in some of your questions (from everything from fiber arts, to designing and on!) so I could put together a little video for y’all every Friday of the KAL!
In this week’s episode we cover:
1. I've always wondered what it's like to only knit your own designs as a designer. Can you talk about your feelings around that and what it's like to see new designs that you love and might otherwise knit if you weren't a designer yourself. Thank you so much!
2. How big is your stash, and how do you organize it? Do you generally start with a particular yarn and decide what it should become, or do you choose a project and then find the perfect yarn for it? How often do you incorporate stash yarn into your projects?
3. Is there anything I would need to do if I am knitting a project with several hand dyed hanks of the same colour yarn? I've scrolled past something about knitting from different hanks at the same time, but can't find that info again!
4. I like the look of using a pale colored yarn with a dark yarn in the same project. How do you prevent the darker yarn from bleeding into the paler yarn.
