As a SET (Speciality Equipment Technician) for CPAPs at my company, I absolutely love love love this machine. I cringe when I have to put out ibreeze due to loads of issues. This machine, Airsense 11 Autoset, is so user friendly my patients are blown away by it. I love this video and am very grateful to you guys for taking the time to go over this.
Thank you for your kind words Jacob! We are glad to hear you enjoyed our video, Don't forget to Like & Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related videos.
I am having to replace my Airsense 10 because the modem died. A few weeks ago, I got a call from my provider that I might get the iBreeze due to supply chain issues. Thankfully, I got the call today that I will be receiving my Airsense 11 in 3-5 days. I am so excited that I will be getting the machine I was hoping for.
My hubby just got the Air Sense 11 from Apria.... It's set at 12-20. We're old and he's always been set at 10; they did NOT calibrate him. We are not techies, always had an RT come to house. Now, what do we do ??
Thank you for this great review! I started CPAP therapy last week with the AirSense 11 and this helped me understand my machine and all its features so much better! I had been looking for the "for Her" autoramp setting with no success. I'm also glad to hear that others (in the comments) are happy with their AirSense 11. I am new to CPAP therapy and I'm glad to hear that I'm starting out with a good machine.

Replaced my AirSense 10 to 11 a couple of weeks ago. My experience with the 11 is amazing. Very user friendly and a great night rest. Been on cpap therapy for over 20 years. This is my third cpap machine and by far the best model Resmed has released. Also owned the S9.
Happy to hear your doing well with your new CPAP. Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed our video please don't forget to Like and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related content.
This is my first time using a CPAP machine. I didn't have a choice in the matter as to which machine to purchase. My insurance company uses Apria and the Air Sense 11 is what I received. This video has really help me better understand the machine and how it functions. Mine came with presets functions so I will be speaking with someone from my insurance on March 10th. I also have the app to keep track of my progress. I'm not liking having a mask on my face but I guess I have to get use to it. Hope it works and allow me to get a restful night's sleep.
Hello Claudette, thank you so much watching our video and we are glad to hear it helped. Please if you haven't feel free to subscribe to our page, we are hoping to provide more educational videos in the weeks to come.
I also have Apria as my DME provider and they have been extremely helpful at the Sarasota location. The AirFit F20 has worked best for me and they sent a sampler pack of sizes to try. I had used the same mask model for a few years and have been very happy.
I've been sleeping with the AirSense 11 for a month now coming from a 10 year old Philips Respironics and I can say that this is the best CPAP device I ever had!!! So easy to use and I love the app. My only feedback is it took a little time to get used to the mask fit make sure you get properly fitted. Thank you for your review!
Thank you for this Review as I have a Philips Respironics that's 13 years old and I've decided to took into getting a new cpap. After reading and searching I was going to purchase the res med 10 but your review has now changed my mind just have to wait till it enters Europe.
New to PAP therapy and looking at machine to buy. Been around looking at different videos for different machines. This is the very best video by far. I have settled on the Airsense 11 auto. Even though my insurance may pay for it, the lead times and hassles are not worth it. Thanks for doing such a good job explaining the controls and setting up.
Thank you Kelly for your comments. Please feel free to call us at 866-936-3754. We have the Airsense 11 in stock and ready to ship. All we need is your script and if you do not have that not to worry, we have a team of Dr's who can assist with that. Thank you for watching our video and I hope you subscribe for new weekly content.
This my second cpap machine and so far it’s been fantastic !!! My old machine had the water resivoir that couldn’t be opened up and that drove me crazy. This is so much better and so light weight 😀
This is my fourth machine I like this one better than all of them I have the AirSense11 it is the best one so far. I also mention it to other people because my sister is beginning to start CPAP therapy so I mentioned it to her to get the AirSense11.❤
I like the older model better. The water tank is a chore to open, and you end up spilling water on your side table because you have to lift it up and grab both ends to open it, unlike the old one which you have somewhere to grab while it's sitting on the table. It's also prone to spilling when placing water because the Max line is right on the top, and the cover on an angle. Unfortunately, that's what was given to me when my original CPAP was replaced. Also, the filters are not the standard size you can order online, and I end up getting ripped off by my provider charging a few dollars per filter, instead of being able to order a 20-pack for $8 or so.
If there is water in the horizontal tube at the top of the tank I noticed it will run out when you open the tank. Gravity in action. Otherwise I open the tank while it's sitting on the kitchen counter and have it gently resting against my mid-section and it opens easily and quickly with 2 hands and no spill. Also if you use a measuring cup with a predetermined amount to gently pour back into the tank to refill then there is almost no chance of spillage and it is easy to see the lines on the tank. I can now do it with a gallon jug of water. I don't go to the max line as it is never empty in the morning using the lower line as a guide as to how much I want to fill it.
@@trembling3674 Not really small hands issue here, but being a prior CPAP user, I have a means of comparison between both models, with the older one having a better and more level tank that's easier to handle.
This has been the best video I have seen about the AirSense 11, I have been asking myself for months what could be the difference between the models, I appreciate you for letting us know. Just Fantastic.
Glad it was helpful! We hope you enjoyed the video! Did you know, RespShop is dedicated to releasing a new video every week! So don't forget to like and share for more CPAP and Sleep related Videos.
Have this machine- water tank hard to open!! Water tank runs out of water every 3 to 4 hrs.- hum set at 4- have full face mask no leaks!! This is my 3 unit over the years!!!
Hello Mike, My suggestion would be to change the climate control to auto and look at your overall leak on your sleep report or your compliance report if your provider can pull it up. Your mask my not be leaking initially, but may be leaking during sleep. Anything over 20/lpm of leak needs to be looked into.
In review saw a water unit tower that can be added to my unit 11 that has a consistent water supply all the time- are you aware of this system and name/ where to purchase??- looks like a tube attaches to the Series11 water tank and I well have a water supply all the time -and I don't have to refill my water tank every 3 hrs like I have now.
I love this machine! I got an upgrade for free when I ordered an AS10 and was so stoked. My girlfriend loves it too since its quieter than my AirMini which I’ve been using for months after my AS10 died.
Dude, you are a total rockstar. Of all the research, downloads and videos I've watched, you have orovided me with the best way to understand. One question though, idk what the acoustic signak means and if i may have accidentally changed the setting while trying to figure out how to use this machine.
Thank you! The acoustic signal is part of the latest AS11 update. There's a built-in microphone which records machine noise and the sound from your mask for diagnostic purposes. ResMed states it does not record any noise from the surroundings but of course there are privacy concerns with this latest update. Turning the acoustic signal off doesn't affect your therapy. Hope this answered your question!

Had the ResMed AirSense 10 for Her for 6 years. My sleep doctor ordered a new ResMed CPAP for me Sep. 2021. Between issues with the provider, doctor's office, supply chain issues, the pandemic, etc., it was a nightmare trying to get a new ResMed 11. Then the provider canceled my order due to not getting the needed info in a timely basis and had to start another new order all over again the end of July. Now, after over a month, today I am the proud owner of a new AirSense 11! Looking forward to another long-term use of this CPAP device. Watching your videos really helped to provide some great information. Thank you.

I’ve been on a machine for 10 years. It’s a Philips on recall. Just received the air sense 11. Super quiet ,very adjustable. My only dislike is the hose on the back and the water tank on the right. My old Philips hose on top with a swivel. Water tank pulled out from the front. It’s more sleep friendly. To get around this I turned it sideways. Hose connector facing the bed and tank to the front. This puts the touch screen away from me. I went with the heated tube. Like the adjustability of it. The tube is heavy. It can actually pull on your mask and cause a leak. It’s not sleep friendly. I’ve used it about 2 months. I know some things take getting used to on cpap. Having it look like a Apple device and connected to Wi-Fi is totally irrelevant to me. I think the most important feature is being sleep friendly. Overall I like it. Needs a little tweaking
Your provider might not appreciate this… But as a former shop teacher - I did some innovative modifying. Found a 14 inch light weight flex tubing for a different mask from my MirageFX & in the hardware store found appropriate adapter and another masks swivel so now the less flexible heated line is away from my face & all works well…. My VA provider initially was not happy but finally came around and even supplied a few more of the short flex tubing…. You’ve really got to be assertive at times.. It’s your health & body …
I am having a hard time adjusting to this machine. I get good sleep for about 1 to 2 hours, after that it goes downhill. Sometimes, I feel suffocated, often gasping for more air and at other times during coughing, or swallowing my saliva, the mask feels weird and air locked almost. My sleep pattern is still the same, whereby I wake up couple of times for no reason or out of discomfort from the mask. In the morning, I wake up with terrible headaches and sore throat from using the machine.
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you're having such an uncomfortable time with your CPAP. It sounds like you need a higher pressure/maybe just a higher starting pressure (if you're using ramp). I'd suggest speaking to your doctor about feeling "air hungry" and then once your pressure is adjusted properly, you can work on adjusting your humidifier settings to help with the sore throat. Hope this helps!
You are a very good communicator, thanks. In France where I am, washing up liquid is not recommended, rather Savon de Marseille a pure soap? Maybe just because it’s France 🇫🇷
Any non scented soap or anti bacterial soap works well. If you enjoyed watching our video, please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for more CPAP and Sleep related videos.
This video is very informative. I just obtained my equipment today and am looking forward to getting proper rest. I just subscribed and gave this video a like. Thank you for this video.
This machine seems very exciting. Hopefully, I will be able to try it. BTW, I had a problem with a travel CPAP I bought from you guys. I emailed your customer service and was only told to "talk to my doctor". That was the extent of your help.
Hello Gar, I am sorry to hear that our advice was to speak to your Dr. We can definitely troubleshoot, however, if you do require a pressure change we do ask you to visit you Dr or obtain a new Rx for us to do so. Please feel free to call us back if your problem has not been resolved at 866 936 3754 and you can ask for myself (Ashley) and I can see how I can assist you further.
Hello Raymond, thank you so much for your review on the video. That is a great content idea. I will mention it to management and hopefully we can have something for you soon. Please if you haven't feel free to subscribe to our page, we are hoping to provide more educational videos in the weeks to come.
The AirSense 11 is my latest acquisition (30 yrs on CPAP) of 4-6 Resmed units…. Can not be happier.. it’s always been Auto-sets for me with Climate Line when available. However, as many have said, the humidifier tub seems to be too small…. AND as is noted the lack of 90 degree heated tube is aggravating! But perhaps, it’s available….. unfortunately I struggle with leaking no matter how much I’ve attempted to balance.. (using Mirage FX Wide) But without CPAP - dead duck !!! Inadvertently slept one night in 2002 without …. 9 hours in the Emergency Room the next day in Atrial Fibrillation ☠️ It’s quite scary…. So for those in doubt …. Apnea is serious 🧐 business and not to be taken lightly as some do… Blessings

I have a Resmed 10 Autoset. Need a new unit. Honestly, the 11 seems like a cosmetic details were the main concern. I heard they replaced the motor with the same as the travel model. Made it smaller. That doesn't sound great.
Hi DK, I too am a CPAP user and was hesitant with the smaller unit. However, I can assure you it is soundless just like the airsense 10. For those travelling the airsense 11 is smaller and lighter with all the same features as the airsense 10, plus it is touch screen. So no having to push a dial and scroll. Please feel free to call us at 866 936 3754 if you have more questions. Don't forget to like and subscribe.
The ResMed 11 has a bigger, quieter motor than the ResMed AirMini, the travel unit. I purchased the ResMed AirMini for overnight flights which can use seat A/C power or an external battery. I never used the Resmed 10 but the ResMed 11 is incredible: everything Ruben said in the video.
There is a dishwasher water tank they uses regular water and can last 2 years. Have you tested this yet? I'm getting 11 next week insurance 5 year machine change out. The power plug is different than 10 which I bought a DC cigarette cable to hook to my power bank incase of power failed but will not work with this model. I'm sure there will be off set swivel adapter someone third party will make for this in time
We haven't tested the dishwasher safe tank with tap water. Let us know how that works if you do try it out! We always recommend using distilled water since some people live in places with very hard water.
Is there a video that shows how to practice CPAP machine in the storage bag I can't figure out how to get it back the way it came to me so I can travel with it I can't seem to get it in the bag the way it should be if anybody can help me out and let me know if there's a video out there that shows how to do this I really appreciate it thank you
Thank you for watching! Sorry we don't have a video showing how to put the CPAP machine in the travel bag. But if you have the ResMed AirSense 11 (or AirSense 10), the CPAP bags come with diagrams showing which part goes in what compartment in the bag. If you have a different machine (esp an older CPAP), it can be tricky and your best bet is to search for a video or photo of the machine inside its carry bag. Good luck!
No, the inside of the CPAP machine does not need to be cleaned. To get the best possible therapy for your sleep apnea, it's important to properly clean your CPAP equipment on a regular basis including the mask, air tubing and humidifier tub.
Hello Ian, Have you checked to see if the mask is not leaking more than usual which can cause more water to be used. Or if the humidifier setting has been increased on the 11. If you have purchased your unit with RespShop please feel free to call us at 866 936 3754 or contact your provider to check your settings.
Hi, thanks for the review. I noticed it has a pulse oximeter search option in the menu. Does it support a Bluetooth pulse oximeter and if yes, what models would you recommend?
As far as we know, ResMed has not developed a pulse oximeter that will work with the Airsense 11 and has also not provided any information of a 3rd party oximeter to be compatible with the Airsense 11. Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed our video, please don't forget to Like and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related videos.
Reuben's explanations are wonderful. As he says at 15:32 "There is nothing ground-breaking on this latest release." I was hoping for a larger, spill-proof water chamber, but it looks like AS 11 has the same small, easy-to-spill chamber as AS 10.
Thank you for watching! You might be interested in our little hack to prevent water spilling when using the AS11: th-cam.com/video/-lGYJd1xghU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Wj6dOxequmFlwU_X
@@RespShop - thank you for the “hack” and for validating my frustration with the water chamber. Your hack solves the spillage issue, but the volume of the chamber is sometimes insufficient to last a full night. I submitted feedback to ResMed saying the water chamber is like 19th Century technology grafted onto 21st Century equipment. As a major retailer, perhaps ResMed would value your dissatisfaction with the water chambers on AS 10 & 11.
I am certain my CPAP prescribed pressure will be long out of date. I'm thinking of purchasing one of these given the auto pressure function. Is it possible to use the unit on auto pressure without setting a prescribed pressure? Great video!
Thank you! Most patients do you use the default settings as it auto titrates. However, you will need a prescription to purchase the CPAP. Best to speak to your Dr to see what they recommend for you. Hey Arch, you should be able to use your machine right out the packaging. It will have the "new car" smell. To avoid this, you can try washing your hose only with a mild detergent. Please do not forget to Like, Share and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep videos.
Is there an after-market humidifier tray with greater capacity yet? (And that doesn't spill?) For me, this is an absolute requirement. I'm a new CPAP user and live in a very dry climate. On the Air Sense 10 loaner I have I've got the humidity set to 6 or 7. I'll be getting my own machine in 3 weeks.
The water chamber is the same size as the airsense 10. If the water chamber is running out of water quick, you may have a mask that is leaking more than 20/lpm or using a nasal mask if you are a mouth breather and may need a full face mask. The chamber once filled should last you up to one full night even on high humidity level.
Looks like a great choice except for the 6 month warranty on the water reservoir. That could get expensive in a hurry. I am on the road with my job through the week so it needs to be durable. What say you customer care?
If you are using distilled water and washing your water chamber, most change their water chamber after a year. The 6 months mark is a manufacturer guide.
Hello Frank, There is not a overall best temp or humidifier setting. The settings are based on patient preference. My suggestion would be try auto climate control. Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed our video, please don't forget to Like and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related videos!
Please let me know what the SD-card contains. Is it possible to "download" the contain into a computer? You may made a demo video about that. Thank you. Regards mr Stig Österberg from Dalsbruk in Finland.
The SD card contains your compliance data and your detailed therapy. The Airsense 11 does come with bluetooth, so most Dr's remote into your machine wirelessly instead of neededing the SD card. To download the SD card you will need a SD card reader as well as a patient friendly software like Oscar to download the therapy. Your Dr and providers office will you the Provider software called Airview. A great video idea. Thank you. Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed our video please don't forget to Like & Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related videos.
There is a difference between Myair and Airview. If you are needing a compliance and detailed data, you will need to ask your provider to connect your machine using the modem to a provider based software called Airview (paid software), from here you will be able to see the detailed data, you can do the same with the SD card. Myair is the patient app, which is free to use, however, is not as detailed.
One big problem I've seen from users with this machine is the water reservoir is to small and runs out before the night is over for allot of people. Other than that everyone seems to love it!
The Airsense 11 and Airsense 10 has the same size water chamber 380ml. I always ask patients too look at their mask fit or unintentional leak. If the leak is higher the machine will run through more water. Thank you for watching. If you enjoyed our video, please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCIRBE for more CPAP and sleep related videos.
I like the idea of some drilling and a cork…. My suggestion…. Find a rubber cork so that no minute particles get into your water and then your lungs…. And be SURE to clean your equipment on a regular basis…. @ 18 years ago I failed to get my unit cleaned well & ended up with mold spores in lungs and pneumonia !!! A trip to ER !! However the BV filters don’t do well with humidifiers.. They plugup rapidly👎
i am a user but one thing that i do not like about the headgear on my mask it is magnetic and sucks if you try to put it on i need to reorder the full face mask i order from the V A
Hello here is an article detailing the differences among the ResMed Airsense 11 models - blog.respshop.com/resmed-airsense-11-series-cpap-detailed-review-all-models/ Hope this helps!
I got the 11 to replace the 10 and see very little difference. Water tank is same as 10 when filled just as tricky loading into the machine. Touch screen is no great upgrade because 10 you moved by line and 11 move by screen grouping. Would rather they keep same heating tubing as 10 would also be better of bought extra tubing since big enough investment. Only big change is coming to presser the 10 blow air fast through the hose making a feeling of mask blowing up like a balloon while 11 is very gentle flow and I don't get that mask blow-up feel. Mine came preset with regular hose so ordered heated hose not cheap. Oh and I never had 10 update OS at lest I know
Pamela, we have been advised by ResMed to not use the so clean with their products it will void the warranty. Feel free to call us about clean options or how to clean your machine at 866 936 3754.
I just switched from the 10 to the 11 and it's been two days with no new sleep reports in the My Air app. I've checked to make sure the serial number is correct and it is. Any suggestions? Thanks
There is currently maintenance occurring with Myair. As of now it is still down with only a handful of patients who have gained access again. As per Resmed the data is still being saved and they hope to have the apps and software up and running again.
New CPAP user with this machine. A 6 ft. hose (I have both the regular and Climate control) once washed and rinsed will not dry out on it's own at room temperature in time to use it the next night. Safe procedure for drying it quicker? Thanks Great video by the way, I did learn a few things but with autoset I have not tried to change anything although my air pillows have marked my nose up so they are sending a new style mask.
When cleaning, try to clean first thing in the morning and hang your hose over your shower curtain or a hook. Some water droplets are fine. You can also attach your hose back to your machine and the let the air pressure dry the hose up before attaching it back to your mask. Thank you for watching! If you liked our video please don't forget to, Like and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related videos and content.
@@RespShop Thank you. Good to know that a few droplets are ok. The machine does not seem to run with just a hose attached, it only starts automatically when I attach the mask and put it on. As soon as I remove the mask it stops in a few seconds. Maybe I need to read the instructions again :) Also now that I have the regular and climate control hose I can use one while the other dries if necessary. The climate control hose doesn't seem to make as big a difference as I was expecting, although as it gets colder it probably will as I don't like to sleep in a warm room. Thanks again.
Hello Garvin, The airsense 11 water chamber is the same size as the airsense 10. The Airsense 11 however, picks up on unintentionally leak. Mask leak higher than 20/lpm will cause you to go through more water. If you have a good sealing mask you will not have to worry about the water depleting as quick.
You will need to go into the clinical menu and go into patient view and allow for advance viewing, you will then be able to see much more information regarding your therapy.
Hi Aaron, the mask is not specific to the machine, it is specific to the patient/user. Feel free to call us to go over a few questions to see which mask would work best for you at 866 936 3754. Thank you for watching, do not forget to Like and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep apnea content.
Depends if you want nasal pillows or a full face mask there's a lot of different masks to choose from so my suggestion to you would just be to read about them and then see if you can try different ones
We received this model to replace a much smaller, recalled unit. The AirSense is so large and bulky the elongated body doesn’t fit on a nightstand and you couldn’t see the LCD screen from the bed. We’re still using the recalled unit. Very disappointing.
Sorry to hear the AirSense 11 isn't for you...while it is slimmer and sleeker, it IS a bit longer. Seems like when ResMed reduced the width, they just added it to the length.
I am sorry, I am having a hard time understanding your question. Feel free to call us at 1866 936 3754 and speak to one of our medical experts for some more information. Thank you for watching! Hello Walter, the machine will store the data without the need of the SD card. If you have a machine with bluetooth capability your Dr will have access to that data via Airview and you can also use a patient friendly free app called MyAir to review some data. Thank you for watching and if you enjoyed our video, please do not forget to push the Like and Subscribe button for more CPAP and Sleep related videos!
Some may accuse me of heresy…. But as a senior on limited $$$, I discovered that one doesn’t need to dump the remaining distilled water everyday …. It’s a waste…. When the unit enters the cooling mode it will dry the tube & to some extent the mask. Make sure the mask itself can air dry…. I’ve done this all along since 1st AS8 unit @ 12 years ago…. No hassle, No problem

I was prescribed one of these. Nice machine. BUT... One thing that bugs me is the APP from the Apple Store. It is region locked. I'm a US Citizen that lives in Switzerland. I've kept my Apple ID all these years and had no reason to change the region for any other app. When I download the App and launch it only lets me choose US, Australia or New Zealand, and that's it. I try to connect phone to this AirSense 11 via the Bluetooth setup, it'll connect for a sec then bonks. Created an email account with my VPN on/off so I'd have 2 different email accounts (diff emails for US/Swiss web registration) and went thru the web portal to associate the machine to the relative email. It''ll ONLY work with the Swiss setup email thru the web portal. So, either I change my Apple ID region or create a new Apple ID which is a hassle for my apple devices... Or just use the Web portal. It's a bloody CPAP machine, WHY REGION LOCK ANYTHING. Makes no sense. Is there some black market for this? Was this decided in a meeting? So ya, just an observation and this boomer needed to vent. I'll see myself out now. Be well citizens!
Thanks for watching and for sharing your experience with the app! It definitely makes things unnecessarily complicated for CPAP users who don't live in the US.
I am new to using my ResMed air series II. I am having a devil of time opening the water chamber. I've resorted to using a bottle opener to get it open for adding the water. I'm afraid I'm going to break it. Please help. Thank you.
Sir I have a ResMed 11 sense, I had it since October 2022, I am looking for the best Uv light or Ozone cleaner . Which is the best one for my CPAP? I have the heated hose and a Hybrid mask. It’s the one with the nostril cushion that you just rest your nose on? And the mask goes over my mouth.
We currently recommend the Liviliti Paptizer UVC LED Smart CPAP Sanitizer - which is Ozone Free. Here is a the link for it: www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/comfort-cleaning/liviliti-paptizer-uvc-led-smart-cpap-sanitizer-ozone-free-p-1670.html Please note that the manufactures still recommend cleaning the accessories with soapy warm water. Sanitization is an added step.
New to Cpaps machines. I just received my first unit. Resmed airsense 11. Yesterday was my first time using. After looking at the app for my results I noticed it cut off into 2 days. I have worked 3rd shift for 25 years. I sleep during the day. How do I change the clock so next day doesn't start at 12pm?
There is no way to fix this, the machine runs on a 24hr clock. You can contact your sleep provider who can pull your compliance report and provide you that monthly so you can look at your full usage and data. Thank you for watching, please do not forget to Like, Share and Subscribe!
One possible workaround is to change the GMT offset (your local time zone) such that your sleep time will complete before the day end time of the adjusted virtual time zone.
I have this model Airsense 11 Autiset and the tubing does not connect to the unit. It has no electrical tab and is not sized for the unit with the tubing that came with it. I also have Resmed 10 and that tubing is not compatible. My tube has round ends that do not go on the unit. I am thinking something is missing from the shipment I received.
I have just bought AirSense 11 but for some reasons it won’t register on the myAir website (the device with the number provided is not supported); not to mention that I cannot download the app from AppStore - nkt supported in my region (Poland). What am I supposed to do? 😞
If the machine was not purchased in Poland and in another country then the modem will be only good for that countries networking. If you purchased the machine from a US company then the modem will only connect once in the united states. Call your provider to confirm where your modem will work. Thank you for watching! I just received my ResMed 11 and I use it with a nasal pillow mask I love the mask but since nearing morning I tend to breath through my mouth I feel as if I am choking at that point and have to pull off the mask and take a drink of water. I also have a full face face mask AirFitF30 but i do not see an outlet for exhaled air so I am not about to use it. I need to know how to use the latter mask
Hello Marie, If you look closely to your F30i mouth cushion, right at the bottom you will see small little holes, this is one of the exhalation ports as well as if you look at the clip on the top of the head, where you plug your tube, this is the 2nd exhalation port. If you are worried about using the mask, ask your provider if you can switch full face mask.
My cpap was on the recall list, this never happened I’m using the same cpap and I’m not happy with it. I would love to try or buy the new machine the cpap 11 . What can you do for me .
Hi Tony, we currently do have the Airsense 11 by ResMed in stock. Please feel free to call us at 1866 936 3754 or email us your inquiry at sales@respshop.com and we can discuss how to get started with a rental or purchase or if you had some general questions.
My 11 Elite is less than a week old and tonight it is making a funny noise when I first turned it on the air tube was making a noise and I cannot figure how to get it to stop
I would suggest calling your Provider to see if your machine is under warranty. Thank you for watching, please do not forget to Like, Share and Subscribe!
Thank you for watching! Some tips to help adjust to CPAP masks: make sure it fits properly and adjust headgear as needed, use the right cushion size. If the mask seals well but it's hard to get used to, try wearing it during the day when you're doing something else. In the end though, it really comes down to practice and setting small, reasonable goals will help with the frustration. One of our medical staff wrote an article to help new users adapt to therapy: www.respshop.com/kb/tips-to-improve-cpap-compliance/ Hope this helps!
Hello Ed, Yes, the water chamber size are both 380mL to the max line. Thank you for watching, if you enjoyed our video, please do not forget to Like and Subscribe for more sleep related content.
I recommend buying an SD card to use with the machine and downloading OSCAR on your computer and then tracking all your sleep data with OSCAR from the SD card.
you must not should because my air app doesnt work and if you really need tracking to show medicare you are using the machine do not depend on the my air app
We were surprised to learn about the AS11 microphone too as this was not mentioned during the release! ResMed states the microphone is only supposed to capture the internal sounds of the machine for diagnostic purposes and to record airflow noise from the mask. We recommend reaching out to ResMed at 1-800-424-0737 if anyone would like more clarification. There's also the option to turn off the acoustic signal.
Issue I have with this device is that I hear myself inhaling through the water tank. I’ve removed, but back the tank, even replaced the tank and I still hear myself inhaling through the water tank 😢
Is the tank filled up all the way to the max line ? It might not have enough water in it causing the sound. Take it in to your provider to see if there is a manufactures defect.
The AutoSet for Her contains features which are designed to keep the average CPAP pressure lower and make pressure changes more gentle, and therefore more comfortable, for you. In addition, women take longer to fall asleep then men, so they may be disturbed by the CPAP pressure increasing before they need it. Thank you for watching! Hey, I recently bought air sense 11 from your shop and start using it. Now I travel back to Hong Kong while there’s no cellular connection for the airsense 11, what can I do to sync the data to myAir app? Thank you
Hello Ryan, you can try removing your device from your email and resetting your location to Hong Kong and seeing if that works for you. Feel free to call ResMed technical support as well for more options 1800 424 0737.
Hi Helene, the ResMed 11 has the same capability as the airsense 10, however the auto CPAP has 3 features built in. The APAP, CPAP, and APAP For Her. I hope this information helps! Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button!!
I bought one of these brand new and it refuses to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S10. I've tried so many combos of sequencing starting pairing on my cell phone vs the ResMed unit and it never works. I'm a retired principal electronic design engineer and this is an insanely difficult problem. Also, the device has no on/off switch. The button on top of the unit does not cut the machine off no matter what mode you are in or how long you hold the button down. The only off button is to unplug the USB like power cord to the unit.
Thank you for watching! Hmmm the on/off button issue sounds like you may have a faulty unit. I'd suggest taking it back to your CPAP supplier and having them take a look. Since it's brand new, if there's anything wrong they'll just replace it. I hope this solves all the issues.

I have IBreeze and love it dude. And a lot cheaper then Airsense 10 or 11.
My hubby just got the Air Sense 11 from Apria.... It's set at 12-20. We're old and he's always been set at 10; they did NOT calibrate him. We are not techies, always had an RT come to house. Now, what do we do ??
@@jimstrickland9935 Your a lucky duck! in my country they dont even sell airesense 11

Did your deep sleep metric go up when using this ?
I’ve been using this for a month now, and I absolutely love it. It’s so easy to use, and it’s so quiet. Easy 10/10 for me.
We love to hear it! Thank you for sharing!

Same here but I have the nose cushions and they’re super comfy. Just took some getting used to
I also have Apria as my DME provider and they have been extremely helpful at the Sarasota location. The AirFit F20 has worked best for me and they sent a sampler pack of sizes to try. I had used the same mask model for a few years and have been very happy.
Did the machine work for you?
I didn’t have a choice either Claudette choice on what machine I use either
I've been sleeping with the AirSense 11 for a month now coming from a 10 year old Philips Respironics and I can say that this is the best CPAP device I ever had!!! So easy to use and I love the app. My only feedback is it took a little time to get used to the mask fit make sure you get properly fitted. Thank you for your review!
Thank you for this Review as I have a Philips Respironics that's 13 years old and I've decided to took into getting a new cpap. After reading and searching I was going to purchase the res med 10 but your review has now changed my mind just have to wait till it enters Europe.

Me too. Same as urself. I really like it. Started with the old Phillips (recall model) now the new 11. 👍🏼
Not enough water for a night. Shit design.

This my second cpap machine and so far it’s been fantastic !!! My old machine had the water resivoir that couldn’t be opened up and that drove me crazy. This is so much better and so light weight 😀

Great video! Thanks! Just got my ResMed Airsense 11 yesterday and used it for the first time. Wow! Love ❤️ it! Game changer!
That's awesome! Thank you for the kind words!
Thank you for your insight and review.
can you cut the filter to fit ??
I have some questions
This has been the best video I have seen about the AirSense 11, I have been asking myself for months what could be the difference between the models, I appreciate you for letting us know. Just Fantastic.
Glad it was helpful!

Have this machine- water tank hard to open!! Water tank runs out of water every 3 to 4 hrs.- hum set at 4- have full face mask no leaks!! This is my 3 unit over the years!!!
Hello Mike,
My suggestion would be to change the climate control to auto and look at your overall leak on your sleep report or your compliance report if your provider can pull it up.
Great video, easy to follow, and is much better than getting all of the nuances out of the manual!! Thx
Glad you liked it!

Yes, it is quieter than my dream2

Thank you.

Excellent review. Please point out where the model “ autoset “ is indicated on the machine, in future videos as they all look the same.
We will pass that a long, thank you!
Hello Dale, thank you for your feedback. If you enjoyed our video, don't forget to Like & Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep related videos.
I use a 10 foot hose and turn the front of the machine away from me so the hose is in a direct line to my face. I recommend a 8 or 10 foot hose.
@@RespShop Thank you for your suggestion. I will definitely ask my Dr about this.
You are a very good communicator, thanks. In France where I am, washing up liquid is not recommended, rather Savon de Marseille a pure soap? Maybe just because it’s France 🇫🇷
Any non scented soap or anti bacterial soap works well.

Hi DK,
I too am a CPAP user and was hesitant with the smaller unit.
Good luck!
I loved your video. Very well explained and it clarified a lot about the therapy offered by ResMed 11

What about the cookies inside the cpap? do i need to clean the cookies?
No, the inside of the CPAP machine does not need to be cleaned. To get the best possible therapy for your sleep apnea, it's important to properly clean your CPAP equipment on a regular basis including the mask, air tubing and humidifier tub.
The humidifier chamber uses more water than the S10. I got 2 nights use out of the the Airsense 10 compared to ! nights use out of the Airsense 11.
Hello Ian,
Have you checked to see if the mask is not leaking more than usual which can cause more water to be used. Or if the humidifier setting has been increased on the 11. If you have purchased your unit with RespShop please feel free to call us at 866 936 3754 or contact your provider to check your settings.
Confused. I was told you have to discard, rinse, dry and refill daily? So why does Ian say 2 nights?
Hi, thanks for the review. I noticed it has a pulse oximeter search option in the menu. Does it support a Bluetooth pulse oximeter and if yes, what models would you recommend?
As far as we know, ResMed has not developed a pulse oximeter that will work with the Airsense 11 and has also not provided any information of a 3rd party oximeter to be compatible with the Airsense 11.

great video. Got mine other day from the VA. First time user, Will try tonite!

Does the brand new Airsense 11 and heated hose needed to be cleaned before using for the first time? Cheers!
Hey Arch,
you should be able to use your machine right out the packaging. It will have the "new car" smell. To avoid this, you can try washing your hose only with a mild detergent. Please do not forget to Like, Share and Subscribe for more CPAP and Sleep videos.
Is there an after-market humidifier tray with greater capacity yet? (And that doesn't spill?)
For me, this is an absolute requirement.
Whats the best temperature and humidifier of my resmed airsense 11 ??
Hello Frank,
There is not a overall best temp or humidifier setting. The settings are based on patient preference. My suggestion would be try auto climate control.

Please let me know what the SD-card contains. Is it possible to "download" the contain into a computer? You may made a demo video about that. Thank you.

Resmed 11: Is the uploaded telemetry different from the data on the SD card? Is there a minute by minute record of events and pressure changes?
There is a difference between Myair and Airview. If you are needing a compliance and detailed data, you will need to ask your provider to connect your machine using the modem to a provider based software called Airview (paid software), from here you will be able to see the detailed data, you can do the same with the SD card.
Myair is the patient app, which is free to use, however, is not as detailed.
The power supply can be use in Thailand? In 220v?
Thanks for watching! Yes, the power supply can be used in Thailand. It is 100-240V.
Im planning to get this hope it won’t have any recalls like the dream station
One big problem I've seen from users with this machine is the water reservoir is to small and runs out before the night is over for allot of people. Other than that everyone seems to love it!
The Airsense 11 and Airsense 10 has the same size water chamber 380ml. I always ask patients too look at their mask fit or unintentional leak. If the leak is higher the machine will run through more water.

Yes, that is a faulty design. If money is no object, you can get a CSpring ONE auxiliary tank for it. Works well.
They plugup rapidly👎
i am a user but one thing that i do not like about the headgear on my mask it is magnetic and sucks if you try to put it on i need to reorder the full face mask i order from the V A
Can I ask which mask you have ? Some masks now have an option for the plastic clip instead of a magnet.
How do I know what model resmed11 do I have
Hello here is an article detailing the differences among the ResMed Airsense 11 models - blog.respshop.com/resmed-airsense-11-series-cpap-detailed-review-all-models/ Hope this helps!
Oh and I never had 10 update OS at lest I know
Thank you for your feedback!
The only disappointment is the humidifier container is not compatible with the So Clean unit.
Pamela, we have been advised by ResMed to not use the so clean with their products it will void the warranty. Feel free to call us about clean options or how to clean your machine at 866 936 3754.
Even with the 10, so clean would send you a water chamber top that works with their little black hose.
Yes water chamber difficult for small ,old 83 yr old hands. Red med do you care?
Here is the customer service email for ResMed, feel free to send them an email with your feedback: support@eshop.resmed.com

So I heard there is an issue with the water chamber..That it’s not adequate and persons had to get up several times to refill it
Hello Garvin,
The airsense 11 water chamber is the same size as the airsense 10. The Airsense 11 however, picks up on unintentionally leak. Mask leak higher than 20/lpm will cause you to go through more water. If you have a good sealing mask you will not have to worry about the water depleting as quick.
The "My SleepView" menu on my AS11 only has Usage and Mask options displaying. Does the Events option come with the Advanced setting? Thank you.
You will need to go into the clinical menu and go into patient view and allow for advance viewing, you will then be able to see much more information regarding your therapy.
just got this machine. Wonder what’s the best mask for it? i was given the air fit n20 i wonder if there is a better model
Hi Aaron,
the mask is not specific to the machine, it is specific to the patient/user. Feel free to call us to go over a few questions to see which mask would work best for you at 866 936 3754.

Difference between Air start 10 And air sence 11 please tellus
fundmentally airstart and airsence I have been using ICON plus for Last 15 years of F&P

question about thee SD CARD... is it needed to store the data so you can read the clinical data after a nights sleep?
Hello Walter,
the machine will store the data without the need of the SD card. If you have a machine with bluetooth capability your Dr will have access to that data via Airview and you can also use a patient friendly free app called MyAir to review some data.

I'm confused are there three different versions?
There is 3 different settings within one machine. CPAP, APAP, and For Her APAP.

Can I connect oxygen from my Philips respiration machine to my cpap machine

Thank you.
It should not be this difficult, may I suggest taking it back to your provider and see if there is a defect on it.
Here is a the link for it: www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/comfort-cleaning/liviliti-paptizer-uvc-led-smart-cpap-sanitizer-ozone-free-p-1670.html
Please note that the manufactures still recommend cleaning the accessories with soapy warm water.
@@garzascreek brilliant.
If you purchased your machine from RespShop, please feel free to call us at 1866 936 3754. Or contact the provider who sold you the unit.

Hello Marie,
If you look closely to your F30i mouth cushion, right at the bottom you will see small little holes, this is one of the exhalation ports as well as if you look at the clip on the top of the head, where you plug your tube, this is the 2nd exhalation port.

Hi, which CPAP machine do you best recommend between the Resmed Airsense 11 or the Fisher Paykel Sleepstyle?? Thanks!
Both! They are great machines. It depends on what your Dr finds best for you.
i have same device but i am still new and struggling to adjust to the mask
Thank you for watching! Some tips to help adjust to CPAP masks: make sure it fits properly and adjust headgear as needed, use the right cushion size. If the mask seals well but it's hard to get used to, try wearing it during the day when you're doing something else. In the end though, it really comes down to practice and setting small, reasonable goals will help with the frustration.

Is the water chamber the same size on the Model 11 as the Model 10?
Hello Ed,
Yes, the water chamber size are both 380mL to the max line. Thank you for watching, if you enjoyed our video, please do not forget to Like and Subscribe for more sleep related content.
Can you ship this to Canada?
Unfortunley, RespShop is only licensed to ship within the USA. You will need to contact a provider within Canada.
I recommend buying an SD card to use with the machine and downloading OSCAR on your computer and then tracking all your sleep data with OSCAR from the SD card.
you must not should because my air app doesnt work and if you really need tracking to show medicare you are using the machine do not depend on the my air app

So, the data from the AirSense 11 is importable into OSCAR?
glad i got the AS10, this AS11 has a "acoustic sensor" aka MICROPHONE
We were surprised to learn about the AS11 microphone too as this was not mentioned during the release! ResMed states the microphone is only supposed to capture the internal sounds of the machine for diagnostic purposes and to record airflow noise from the mask.
We recommend reaching out to ResMed at 1-800-424-0737 if anyone would like more clarification. There's also the option to turn off the acoustic signal.
In the morning I am getting one
Issue I have with this device is that I hear myself inhaling through the water tank. I’ve removed, but back the tank, even replaced the tank and I still hear myself inhaling through the water tank 😢
Is the tank filled up all the way to the max line ? It might not have enough water in it causing the sound. Take it in to your provider to see if there is a manufactures defect.

What is the auto-set for her setting?
The AutoSet for Her contains features which are designed to keep the average CPAP pressure lower and make pressure changes more gentle, and therefore more comfortable, for you. In addition, women take longer to fall asleep then men, so they may be disturbed by the CPAP pressure increasing before they need it.

How many years of use can I expect from it ?
Hi Gary,
most machines last about 5 years and then it is advised it should be replaced due to the motor power slowing down.
My Airsense 10 lasted 6 years.
Great video! Am looking forward to my next CPAP machine. Hope it is the AirSense 11.

Is it better at picking up RERA’s than the 10 Autoset for her?!
Hi Helene,
the ResMed 11 has the same capability as the airsense 10, however the auto CPAP has 3 features built in.
Very good info! Thanks
