I really don’t think Jeannie was being shady intentionally. She just stuck her foot in her mouth. You can tell by the look of guilt she had after she mentioned Vince. She realized the situation sounded wrong and could’ve been easily misinterpreted after she said it out loud.
Jeannie had a lot of those moments, but I’m happy she spoke about her being naïve during the farewell episode. A lot of things were said out of context and as I saw her growth I started understanding her more. However, in the beginning I was with Tamar

The last guy I was with had no car and I was always taking Uber to see him and this man never would help me for the fair or even go half with me. He was very selfish so I eventually left him. Date a guy who has a car a place to live and money in the bank.
The advice is different depending on your age imo. If you're in your teens/early twenties and the guy you're seeing is the same age, and is saving up for a car in the future, i think it's fine.

If it came down to it, I would be okay dating a man with no car. If we were in a LDR, depending on how far away he lives, we would have a conversation first before moving forward if we choose to pursue it. Here in New York City we have options...public transportation (bus/subway), two dollar vans, Uber, Lyft, Curb, or just walk. Having a car is great, however who wants to spend half to most of the date looking for/paying for parking. With gas prices being what they are, a car is a luxury and I'm seeing more and more car owners leaving them home and looking at other means of getting around the city. There may be some days/nights where he might not feel like driving.
I have been where Jeannie once was with dulling my shine for a relationship. Lesson learned and I came out with wisdom and more love for myself. I MISS THIS SHOW!

Actually Jeannie was mean and messy towards the moms (Tamar and Tamara) when they first met. She said she did not want to hear none of them talk about their kids cause the show was not about them. Look it up. I think it rubbed Tamar the wrong way and she did not like Jeannie. That is what started the whole thing, she thought Jeannie was fake and pretending to be nice.
