Does the blow-off valve void the warranty
@@dannymarcano9268 Hi, a part has to be proven to be the fault of something to deny warranty service. We recommend having a good relationship with your local dealer.

But a blow off valve just releases pressure that's going to be released into the atmosphere anyway, just louder.
Am I correct it not changing any other operation or function of the engine and vehicle ?
I bought a gently used 2021 black diamond with 35 inch tires six speed manual, the person did install the blow by, I am taking it off, I put a dual exhaust from Flowmaster on the back, I’d rather hear that, I’m giving it to my son who has a badlands Sasquatch, thanks for the video

What did you pay for your bronco?
@@eghty8fox780 bought it in September 2022, probably paid close to top dollar, 50,000, it did have some nice extras with it, I traded in my dodge charger Daytona for almost 40,000, and it has the fuel wheels with grappler tires 35sx18 and like I said it has a lot of add-ons, what do you have?
Are there any performance gains from a BOV or is it only for the sound?
If you’re still relatively stock and not make more boost than stock it’s just for sound.

If they could somehow link what you’re trying to warranty to the modification then yes. But it really comes down to how cool your service advisor is.

Hard question to answer and many variables. Example: if you have a BOV installed and you have a transmission issue or suspension issue the dealer won’t void those warranties bc of an unrelated part installed. Now if you blow a turbo or something along the induction line then the dealer if gonna try and blame the BOV since that part is relevant.
@@WimyaI think speaking for the dealership is outta line, If you take it in for a oil change and they see it you’re warranty is done. They will immediately note your acct on the vehicle this was told to me by a lead maintenance supervisor. Might a real human give you a break absolutely but honestly if you’re still under warranty or purchased a warranty I would wait. Hey it’s your 40-70K do what you want though 😂
@@blueberrywilbur315 as a former service writer that’s 100% BS. That’s not how warranty works at all. There is literally legislation in place that protects consumers with automotive warranties. Might I suggest you read up on the MagnusonMoss act.
