- Today, we installed the UPR / AMP Blow Off Valve (BOV) adapter on on our 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor 3.0L to help it make some sounds that we all wanted to hear out of the Ecoboost! MORE PSSH = MORE FUN!
Install is as easy as it gets, as you only need 2 hand tools.
- An E6 Socket, along with a ratchet. (to remove OE Hardware)
- A 5mm Allen Key (to install new supplied UPR/AMP Stainless Hardware)

Installed it tonight on the bronco raptor! Its louder than I thought!
Does it increase/decrease power? And what about smog doesn’t affect smog especially here in California?

No hoses to block off?
No, this method allows for all the hoses to remain attached in their factory position.
Performance / Benefit, or just another poser noise-maker?
There is a reason why engineers at ford reused the “psss” air by sending it back to intake again; basically using every amount of air possible for performance. Now we bypassing it and sending it to atmosphere for the noise 😁 . Not like it makes a bad impact on performance, but it defeats the good purpose of engineers. You think they didn’t know about it? 😊 but it’s a personal choice to hear this sound or not.
