We have had a lot of people say we won’t last, and our plan to get married soon after I graduate is crazy, but they don’t understand that I’ve been waiting to marry this guy since the day I met him. Y’all are a couple I strongly look up to. Love y’all!

I was 18 when I got engaged, and 19 when we got married. 11 years, and 2 kids later, he is still my best friend. ❤ When you get married young, you get to experience so many firsts together, it helps draw you closer. We had lots of judgment too, but when you know, you know. 🙂
I was engaged at 19 too - mid-30s now and glad we married young and had our kids young. Especially with my mom dying unexpectedly, I was so glad my mom got to experience my wedding and have a relationship with my kids before she passed.
It's such a beautiful thing to watch people meet their person, some people wait a lifetime to experience that kind of love and it's so wonderful when you have a honor of meeting them sooner and knowing that you want to spend the rest of your life. Love you guys and your story, keep doing what you are doing ❤️😘

I find you two very relatable, I’m 20 and my fiancé is 19. We are getting married next year, we’ve been together just over two and a half years. Love your videos and pray for continuing joy and health in your relationship. You guys are awesome!
I was almost 21 and my husband was 23 when we got married, so not quite as young as you guys but still young. We just had our 9th anniversary!! You grow so much as a couple and you learn how to deal with what life throws at you.
Husband and I were engaged at 19 and married at 20. Now 14 years married (18 years together),three kids later, and moved twice. We had up and downs but us being young and growing up/older together has cause us to have a very close relationship. I would trade all the memories we had made ❤️. I wish y’all the same!

But the worst part in my story is that we both live in same town just 15 minutes far from each other houses and yet expirience long distance relationship because of our community. My husband and I got married young and have our 5th anniversary this Friday! (Got married at 19&23) it was the best thing for us!! We have two kids now! Age 2 and 4 months! It’s tough some times but like Abby said it’s the best to grow up and grow old together!! ♥️ marriage is WORK whenever you get married!! Doesn’t matter if you’re 19 or 35 it’s combining someone else’s life with yours and caring about someone else’s needs 24/7 is a lot! Love you guys!!
My boyfriend that I've been with for almost 5 years just went to college. This is my last year of high school and it's been really hard because we are long distance. I love you guys and you both make me feel better about it ❤. I still think it's crazy that we've been together since we were 13!
i've been in the same boat before sis and you got this!! it's hard being apart sometimes but it only makes your bond stronger! in just a week i'll be at the same college as him so let me tell you it really pays off :)
My husband and I have separate bank accounts. Mainly because we always just didn't get to it. We've been together for 14 years and married for 5. And we're happy. We still share money. We still both pay bills, food when going out, groceries... it's not like we're super "my money is my money. Yours is yours."
I’ve heard of couples doing it that way and it goes seamlessly! I think it’s good you commented so others realize it can work too, just gotta communicate!
Exactly! I'm in charge of all the bill and things so he just sends me what I need. But it works out so much better. I trust him on not spending too much money on things and vice versa.
With every sunrise is a new day! Early morning when unnecessary voices are quiet. Do just one thing no matter how hard it seems just do this.... Find very cold water submerge your whole body in it. it can be your shower, your bath, a close lake, river, ocean or stream. Just feel the cold and revive your body feel feel feel. You are worth it... you are strong... if you do nothing else please just this everyday for a week... then month... then twice a day if needed. THEN....At night laying in the dark when your mind wont sleep... just remember its ok... breathe three deep breathes and know without the dark we cant shine. Just like the earth we need cold to rejuvenate and like a star we need dark to shine.
I got married at 18 for a lot of similar reasons! When you know, you know! I don't see a reason to wait when you have a confirmation that you have found the one!
I got married a month after turning 19 and we just celebrated our 13 year anniversary! When you know you know. Wasn't the timing I wanted, but I'm happy we did it!

I was 19 and my wife was 18 when we married. That was 33 amazing years ago. There were certainly some tough times. But we literally grew up together. We also moved six hours from our parents so we had to rely on each other without the possibility of outside interference.
I am 20 years old and so is my husband. We got married when we were both 19 (just recently hit 1 year of marriage). I love that we got married so young. We get to grow and learn adulthood together. Build our lives together. It’s awesome. And as far as rings go, we literally paid less than $100 for both of my rings. Total. It’s the symbolism not the cost. The only thing I requested was that it was nice enough that it wouldn’t turn my finger green lol. We currently live with my in laws because we are fortunate enough that they are letting us live with them for free while we save up to buy a house one day. And that’s ok. That might not work for some people, but everyone is different and you need to just do what is right for you.

My nephew married good wife when she was 19 and he was 20, they're now 34 & 35, they have the teenagers, 14, 15, 16 (they each had a son with another person when they got married and have a daughter together, three kids by 20 & 21) and they are doing so well. They remind me of you two in some ways, they were told so often that they were too young, they are united in everything, and will soon have their 15th anniversary. I know that you two will have the best life, I really enjoy you guys. Thanks for making these videos!
Im single at 30, and I envy you guys so so so much!! You did the best thing one can do! Get married young, face the hard times with someone not alone, don’t follow the selfish word….have lots of kids while young!
I was 19 when my husband and I got married and I have zero regrets! ❤️ We’ve been married for a little over 3 years now! No judgment here! Y’all were made for each other!
I got engaged at 22, married at 23 :) don’t regret it at all!! Lots of people said we were way too young but we were able to financially and loved each other so we did :)
My fiancé and I got engaged back in March. We’re both young (I’ll be 19 when we get married in November and he’s 21.) We’ve been together for almost four years now and we are so excited! All this to say - I never cared all that much about a ring. I told him that if he spent more than 200 dollars on my engagement ring I’d be upset. 😅 We bought each other super affordable rings from Modern Gents Co!! My ring looks SO gorgeous and real but only cost $50.00!!! We completely recommend for those who simply can’t afford an expensive ring yet but want the look of a diamond. Anyways - thanks for making this video!
I met my boyfriend when i was 16. He was 20. Now 11 years later we're still together and we're soulmate's. It does'nt matter when you meet the right person. If it feels right, than you should go for it! After 11 years we've grown so much as a couple, learnt so many life lessons and already made so many memory's. Just live and enjoy the beste life you want to live! Btw love your video's. Watching them al the way from The Netherlands!
One of the reasons I enjoy watching your videos is because I agree with almost everything you say! It's so true that it is counter cultural to put one's marriage ahead of one's career path, but I think that marriage should be the priority!
Why do I always keep smiling like a fool watching your videos!!!! & each video of yours brings so much positivity and happiness:") May you guys always stay this happy and amazing 💙💙
I got engaged at 18 and married at 19 and it’s the best!! It’s very uncommon where I live so we got a lot of criticism but when you know, you know and it’s been amazing! I love seeing other thing married couples, I wish I knew more personally!
Abby! You should try the curly girl method! I have seen your photos from 8th grade in some other videos and you have such pretty curls! If you have any questions ask!
You two have so much fun together, and it is so much fun to watch! You are yin and yang! Its heartwarming and you two each have golden personalities. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Your relationship reminds me of ours with my boyfriend. I'm the Abby he needs and he's my Matthew James 🧡 love and soulmates exist and always find us when we least expect it.
I got married to my now husband when I was 22 and he was 22. To me if you do want to get married young it’s almost a blessing because I have friends who are now in their 30s and 40s always complaining about dating and they are so unhappy about their relationship status and I’m over here having been with my husband for 12 years and have 3 kids. We have stayed together through the roughest of times and come out with a deeper understanding of each other. Commitment, honesty, support, communication, loyalty and love. If you have those all other things can be worked through with God.
I love watching you guys. Your so much like me and my wife. We also got married young. She was you get than me but I don't regret a single day being married younger. Your relationship is something everyone wants.
Another way is to find people who accept you the way you are and respect the fact that you know what's best for your life and your happiness. #realfriendship.
I started dating my husband when I was 17 and he was 18. We got engaged at 19/20 and then married at 20/21. We've been married 13 years now and I wouldn't change a thing! We're still best friends. We got to grow up together and we'll get to grow old together. And my ring only cost $700 😉
My cousins were in their first 4 years of college and most of the people their age were already married. Years later they’re still not married and there are like a handful of people in their twenties who are also not married/taken.
I mean in today's society it's more of whether getting married is Financially feasible for a guy or not and if he feels like dealing with it or not considering that there is a 70% failed relationship rate currently and a guy normally gets royally screwed in a divorce Financially and if a kid is involved... YIKES
Thank you thank you so much for sharing your story! I was the same age and your videos have really helped me with dealing with what other people think. All that matters is that you are happy and know what is right for you!
I had a relationship like this when I was 21 and it lasted till I was 26 . . Not a day that goes by that I miss it! Take my advice!. Listen to one another, respect each others opinion, and if you can try to spend a few half a day apart every so ofthen then do it to protect it. It's rare to find. God bless
Your story remind me of my wife and I. We were HS sweethearts. We the same age when we got engaged. When we got married I was 21 she was 20. We've now been together 40 yrs as a couple married 34 yrs.
I got married at 19 too! We’ve been married just over 3 years!! There were many harsh comments made about us getting married young but defy the haters!! My husband is such an amazing Man and I love my life!!! ❤️
You know what, Those people I know right now who got engaged at a young age. I think the most important thing is that you guys are happy that’s all that matters

Im single at 30, and I envy you guys so so so much!! You did the best thing one can do! Get married young, face the hard times with someone not alone, don’t follow the selfish word….have lots of kids while young!
I got engaged at 19 too!!! Got married at 20 and I’ve been married for 3 months. Best decision ever, love your channel!!
I was 19 when my husband and I got married and I have zero regrets! ❤️ We’ve been married for a little over 3 years now! No judgment here! Y’all were made for each other!
Love watching y'all take the time to listen to each other!
Yeah there’s no correct way to live your life. I was 23 when i got married and i was still judged for being “too” young. Do what makes you happy 😊
“I’m happy I get to grow up with you, and grow old with you” love that!! ❤️❤️
One of the reasons I enjoy watching your videos is because I agree with almost everything you say! It's so true that it is counter cultural to put one's marriage ahead of one's career path, but I think that marriage should be the priority!
Abby's "small town girl accent" is the best, a whole vlog of her talking in that accent would be so funny
I love when you guys do these type of videos! Also 7-11 idea sounds cool, kinda like the letting people choose my meals ones which were hilarious
Why do I always keep smiling like a fool watching your videos!!!!
& each video of yours brings so much positivity and happiness:")
May you guys always stay this happy and amazing 💙💙
I love their love! When you know, you know 🥲💝
I got engaged at 18 and married at 19 and it’s the best!!
My husband was 19 and I was 20 when we got married. We knew we loved each other. We will be married for 22 years in 2 months.
So encouraging, PLEASE do a part 2!!!!
Abby: “and I’m happy that I get to grow up with you and grow old with you.” 🥺
So so encouraging for those of us who also are planning on getting married young :)
I love how often you guys post! I always look forward to your new videos💕
I just had a rough first day of middle school and I came home to this. It truly made my day. Thank you. ❤️🥺🥺
Love you guys so much! I have a huge fear of getting into relationships in general, so your honesty & friendship is so refreshing and lovely. 💕
I started dating my husband when I was 17 and he was 18. We got engaged at 19/20 and then married at 20/21. We've been married 13 years now and I wouldn't change a thing! We're still best friends. We got to grow up together and we'll get to grow old together.
And my ring only cost $700 😉
You 2 are so perfect together!❤ May God Bless❤
Matt I’m single and live on my own and I’m not depressed, yet 😂. I’m all about the right person rather than just setting 🥰
I think you guys are really lucky to have found each other and be ready to marry at a young age.
You two are the sweetest couple the love that you have for each other is clear💖
PLEASE do a part two!! Love this ❤️
My cousins were in their first 4 years of college and most of the people their age were already married.
YIKES
Matt: why there a lot of comments
Abby: people want to know 😤
We: yes need to know Matt
Thank you thank you so much for sharing your story! I was the same age and your videos have really helped me with dealing with what other people think. All that matters is that you are happy and know what is right for you!
You guys have the best advice! I’m so so glad I found you guys, you make me smile every time I watch your videos. I love you dudes!!❤️
Yes, I would definitely like to see a pt.2
I had a relationship like this when I was 21 and it lasted till I was 26 . . Not a day that goes by that I miss it! Take my advice!. Listen to one another, respect each others opinion, and if you can try to spend a few half a day apart every so ofthen then do it to protect it. It's rare to find. God bless
Your story remind me of my wife and I. We were HS sweethearts. We the same age when we got engaged. When we got married I was 21 she was 20. We've now been together 40 yrs as a couple married 34 yrs.
Love you guys so much!!! Can’t wait to watch the rest of the video. I’m here before TH-cam notified me 😂😂😂❤️
I got married at 19 too! We’ve been married just over 3 years!! There were many harsh comments made about us getting married young but defy the haters!! My husband is such an amazing Man and I love my life!!! ❤️
I love you guys so much! Because of you guys I believe in love. And you guys have inspired me to wait for the right one.❤️
You know what, Those people I know right now who got engaged at a young age. I think the most important thing is that you guys are happy that’s all that matters
I just hope you can both be honest about what you need so that you can stay together.
