My fiancé and I have been together since we were 19 and 13 years later were engaged as of recently but ya know you start with excuses to wait or let family and friends pressure you into waiting because your young you’ll fall into that habit of letting this or that excuse stop you or use as a reason to put it off another year, and before you know it your years down the road and could have been sharing the same name all along. I’d always get nervous about the planning, the costs , we had our two kids and we’d want to focus on them and it’s just like now I look back and think of all the times we very well could have done it lol. I was 18 when I got engaged, and I got married 2 weeks after I turned 19 and it’s been the best thing. I still felt like a kid but we were able to challenge each other to grow in our marriage 😁

Don't listen to people. My husband and I got married at 22. We've been together 10 years and are high school sweethearts. So we decided to tie the knot. So don't listen to negative people saying "oh that's so young" because what? Are they expecting you to be partying? No life with your husband is 10000000% better than living the party life. I got engaged in February (at 24 years old), and I’m now 25, and will be getting married in June (I’ll be going on 26), I would not have been ready to get married at 19 😅. However, we’re all on a different timeline!

What are you even talking about??? Why does this generation think that at 20 you should have your life resolved. I am 21 and I have never had a boyfriend or fallen in love but I accept the fact that each person has a personal watch. And other people's achievements are not your defeats. Life is not short, that is a lie that society tells you, so you have to do certain things at certain age (like going to college at 18 BS BS BS). YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO EXPLORE THIS WORLD. Love is neither sought nor found, it just comes into your life in due time. In addition, it is respected that she wants to get married at 19 but people have to understand the responsibility that this implies is not just butterflies and flowers (maybe the first 2 years are but after that time people start knowing their partners and affection is not enough, there is where love becomes a choice) Besides at 19 you dont even know half of yourself, you change and making a decision as big as this stops you from enjoying your PERSONAL freedom. You have a whole world to explore and new people to meet, dont feel stuck nor rushed, some people find their soulmates at 50 years old, etc...
