The book is good. It's not explicitly stated but it's implied that the amazons get tired of humanity trying to destroy the world and decide that peace through oppression is the way to go. This WW is also way stronger than prime WW.

I hated the art work
I haven't heard of this story, but if this is grid examples of the "art" I have to agree it doesn't look good at all. But the story sounds nice.
