It seems to me that what RTD is missing is Moffat’s ability to give a great payoff that explains everything and makes it all make sense

Bigeneration is an old theory based off of the fact the 5th Doctor was a fusion of "the Guardian" (a Doctor from a dead timeline) and the 4th's natural regeneration. If a fusion regeneration is possible, then it would be equally plausible that fission could occur as well. This repurposed version was cool.

Okay.... The defeat of The Toymaker was too easy.The Doctor in his underpants? Split Regeneration and TARDIS! Clearly the leaks were true. BUT I really enjoyed it. Scary, funny, emotional and exciting.
It's going to be devisive.Some will say 15 is not the "Real Doctor " but a copy? There are minor cringe moments. All in all a nice finale to Doctor Who 2005- 2023. A fresh start with Doctor 15. Clearly the UNIT Spin Off will happen and Donna and Doctor 14 are in reserve . I look forward to Christmas more than ever.
Something hit me today...while I really enoyed the fact that 14 got to retire with Donna... I'd almost have prefered these specials with Matt and Karren back.
All throughout 11s run with the ponds he seemed more like the Doctor that wanted deep down, wanted the family dynamic with Amy and Rory, and once they "died", we never really got that sort of thing again.
Idk i just feel like it would've worked a little better with Matt as 14 and reuniting with the ponds 11 years after they've been blipped by the angel...maybe the 70th😅
