@@treyhair7776 so happy for Rylan did y’all get to tailgate afterwards so he could see the rundown on the Death Valley ( i live in California near the original Death Valley so that’s why I asked )
I've seen several of these and no matter what their age - it's been a wide range - they all cry. one old marine swore he wouldn't - but he did. as an amateur artist that loves all the shades of color, I can imagine the impact from the beauty opening up to you. it's got to be overwhelming even in the splendor. what a wonderful invention. a brilliant blue sky can completely change my sour mood just by looking at it
It always amazes and moves me how tears are the result of getting these glasses ...we take colour for granted but wearing these opens up a whole new world and it must be so emotionally moving and overpowering for the recipients...good luck to this young fella, the world will now be his oyster ..a colourful one at that ..
I wonder about how they actually feel when they start crying. I suspect it's not out of happiness. These guys are used to seeing the world with less color and it feels normal to them. They may be somewhat in denial about their color blindness. When they finally see the colors they were missing, it hits home that they really are color blind. What they may have dismissed before as no big deal suddenly feels like a real handicap. Having reality slap you in the face like that can be pretty painful.
Watching these beautiful videos makes me feel very humble that we take so much for granted. What a lovely boy he is. I now make determined decisions now to enjoy colour in all its forms every day. I just wish more people could be helped with these amazing glasses.
Can’t people just EVER leave them be in these? “Look at this! Look over here!” They’re obviously overwhelmed. Just let them experience it for crying out loud.
I have an issue.. why not have bought him a pair that fits now? He's having to keep his hand to his face until they fit .. it's not like you're mortgaging the house.. then they could have been donated
No. I am Rylan's dad and I am not color blind. I am wearing costa del mar sunglasses. I don't have experience with Deutan but my son now wears his indoor glasses daily to school. Still blows us away how well they work.
He now has kid size indoor and outdoor. I got them as soon as we found out they worked so well. We gave the adult size to his Grandfather who also needs them.
You can tell his Daddy loves him with every piece of his Big Heart!!!!
WOW! Thanks for making this grown man cry. What an awesome moment for your son. God bless you guys.
Tears of joy are nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks for the kind words. God Bless you too!
Make that two.

Nice video. Now back to chopping my onions.
GET THE KIDS' SIZE, THEY'RE ON SALE! I just got my grandson the sunglasses.
朝から幸せな気持ちにさせてもらってありがとう。
Distinguishing purple and blue is important. Otherwise, we Clemson fans look like just another Florida fan.
If I woke up in your world tomorrow I think I would also be fairly tearful, no, actually I KNOW that I would be very tearful !!
I'd never want to take them off!
I wish I could see his reaction to seeing the sepia-to-Technicolor moment in The Wizard of Oz.

He’s crying because he can’t believe you’re making him cheer for crappy team with those colors lol

Should have got the kids size or buy an elastic band to hold the glasses on. The poor kid has to hold them on .😮

Adults please shut up, let these kids have their emotional moments.
