Enchroma reaction. Rylan Sees color!
Our son Rylan is protan "color blind". He has never seen vibrant colors such as purple, orange and red like the majority of us. They appear as muted shades of browns/tans. This Saturday we gave him #EnChroma glasses at the Clemson tailgate not knowing if they would work.
It literally takes his (and our) breath away. He then attended the military appreciation day game where the Clemson Tigers were wearing all purple! What a miraculous experience. We're so excited for this new world he is experiencing. What a wonderful world!

Adults please shut up, let these kids have their emotional moments.
I've seen several of these and no matter what their age - it's been a wide range - they all cry. one old marine swore he wouldn't - but he did. as an amateur artist that loves all the shades of color, I can imagine the impact from the beauty opening up to you. it's got to be overwhelming even in the splendor. what a wonderful invention. a brilliant blue sky can completely change my sour mood just by looking at it
He’s crying because he can’t believe you’re making him cheer for crappy team with those colors lol
It makes me happy to see a kid being happy!😊❤ And it teaches us to appreciate what we non color blind people take for granted! Greetings from Germany!
You can tell his Daddy loves him with every piece of his Big Heart!!!!
Watching these beautiful videos makes me feel very humble that we take so much for granted. What a lovely boy he is. I now make determined decisions now to enjoy colour in all its forms every day. I just wish more people could be helped with these amazing glasses.
Nice video. Now back to chopping my onions.
Very cool 😎 enjoy 🤗
🥰
I wish I could see his reaction to seeing the sepia-to-Technicolor moment in The Wizard of Oz.
I'd never want to take them off!
Such a beautiful kid you guys have there
Can’t people just EVER leave them be in these? “Look at this! Look over here!” They’re obviously overwhelmed. Just let them experience it for crying out loud.
This should be us every morning. Everyday.
I haven't seen av single video of a color blind person truly happy by these glasses yet
My son sure was.
@@treyhair7776 Well, I hope he's so happy he never takes them off. It's so transformative he can't live without them
oh the things we take for granted! ❤️
Yah Rylan 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
🔴🟠😀🟢🔵🟣 ENJOY YOUR NEW WORLD OF COLOR!!! 🔴🟠😀🟢🔵🟣
No. Matter how my day is going it always gets a little brighter when I watch these videos!!! Thanks 😊
I think these glasses are one of the best accidental inventions ever.
Love that. Thanks so much for those hard working people to make other's life bright. That is the power of a human.
If I woke up in your world tomorrow I think I would also be fairly tearful, no, actually I KNOW that I would be very tearful !!
Have a long, happy, and colorful life.
It must be so overwhelming initially, I would of cried too. Enjoy the world little dude, it’s beautiful

Hello Trey - is his dad wearing enchroma glasses to ? - they look so blue - greetings from a mild-moderate Deutan
No. I am Rylan's dad and I am not color blind. I am wearing costa del mar sunglasses. I don't have experience with Deutan but my son now wears his indoor glasses daily to school. Still blows us away how well they work.
@@treyhair7776 can you tell me what glasses your son get? - are this "CX3" or "CX3 SP" ? greetings
@@Blackforest123456 The are the cx3 SP
Distinguishing purple and blue is important. Otherwise, we Clemson fans look like just another Florida fan.
I have an issue.. why not have bought him a pair that fits now? He's having to keep his hand to his face until they fit .. it's not like you're mortgaging the house.. then they could have been donated
He now has a pair of indoor and outdoor that fit him. The pair in this video were donated to his Grandfather whom is also protan color blind
So happy that he can see how Beautiful this World is!!!
Yeahhhh buddy come to me I will show u truly nature...
Ima Clemson fan and this was really dope and special
Right on bud. God bless ya!
If that kids reaction doesn't give you the feels, there's something wrong with you !
They say there are a bunch more couplers waiting in heaven for us
It always amazes and moves me how tears are the result of getting these glasses ...we take colour for granted but wearing these opens up a whole new world and it must be so emotionally moving and overpowering for the recipients...good luck to this young fella, the world will now be his oyster ..a colourful one at that ..
I wonder about how they actually feel when they start crying. I suspect it's not out of happiness. These guys are used to seeing the world with less color and it feels normal to them. They may be somewhat in denial about their color blindness. When they finally see the colors they were missing, it hits home that they really are color blind. What they may have dismissed before as no big deal suddenly feels like a real handicap. Having reality slap you in the face like that can be pretty painful.
@@dwaneanderson8039 Well said.
朝から幸せな気持ちにさせてもらってありがとう。
Should have got the kids size or buy an elastic band to hold the glasses on. The poor kid has to hold them on .😮
He now has kid size indoor and outdoor. I got them as soon as we found out they worked so well. We gave the adult size to his Grandfather who also needs them.
Fantastic
It is awesome
A lovely sweet moment.
Its a new day and a brand new world ..like watching the wizard of Oz then Dorothy opens the door and COLOR
Yeah, that's it EXACTLY!!!!😄
GET THE KIDS' SIZE, THEY'RE ON SALE! I just got my grandson the sunglasses.
Must be hot in here cause my eyeballs started sweating a bit! Go Tigers!
That is awesome!!! Congrats! Go Tigers!!!
WOW! Thanks for making this grown man cry. What an awesome moment for your son. God bless you guys.
Tears of joy are nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks for the kind words. God Bless you too!
