You have to finish Wingfeather! It will tear you apart and put you back together again! It hurt and healed me in places of my heart I didn’t know needed it! The truth woven in those stories is aaaaahhhh! But I mean, if you don’t like them, I will still love you… but I encourage you to give them a try! Andrew Peterson reads the audiobooks if you want to listen rather than read. 😉 Hehe anyway, Love this video! I am definitely feeling the need to not focus on reading SO MANY books, but actually FOCUS on the books I’m reading- the Bible above all. That is what matters. Aaaah! I just got God of the Garden for Christmas, and you talking about how amazing and beautiful the message of Adorning the Dark is TOTALLY makes me want to read it RIGHT NOW! Okay, I’m gonna stop now lol! All the best for 2025! -Emma
LotR definitely has Christian themes and elements. Tolkien was Catholic, but, for the most part, there's little in LotR that most Christians would object to. I might suggest reading them as a audiobooks, if you're into those, since that might help with the density of the writing. The character arcs are, for the most part, pretty subtle, but, once you see the arcs, they're beautiful.
