    I see a lot of negativity in this comment section. So I’d like to say that this Sports Car is still under development and testing, of course they’re not dumb to ruin the suspension system, it’s still under development. So don’t be negative too much, as the engineers and people that are contributing to this project are working hard to make this possible. So please, no negativity, instead, let us support them to make this project possible :)

      @@jerryvargas1503 dude... you think those supercars didn't use the same engines, transmissions, etc. when they were just starting up..? Look up the history of each and everyone of them and you'll find they started by using the same engines with some configurations... the designs were even similar outside... the idea is to start the company first then gain momentum, then start R&D on your own parts... being ignorant and negative about this isn't going to help anyone... heck, you'd be amazed how many big brands have the same engine base under the hood even to this day... look it up... I can name Mazda and Toyota for one off the top of my head... you probably didn't even know their top of the line sports cars have similar engines with tune engines to their standard vehicles and even have some engines switched from both companies for their super cars...

      @@jerryvargas1503 I got notifications (2 notifications) but can't find your comments... I can't respond appropriately if I don't know the entire context... maybe it's an error or maybe you had second thoughts and deleted it, but I saw some on my notification that may help answer your questions... yes, engine swaps/transfer from donor cars can be used, have been used, and can be sold to the public as part of final product... e.g. modified Hummer H1 engine swaps have been done and sold legally for better performance to the hummer h1 market, as long as an engine was purchased legally and registered to the vehicle it can be used... also this (product) falls under the kit-car amd custom car category... the engines can be sold as rebuilt/modified engines... they just can't stamp or claim ownership of the engines but what is being sold to the public is the brand, labor and performance it offers... edit: was typing away so fast I didn't even bother with the grammar...

    I am not surprised. I have visited the Philippines a number of times and it has quite a few talented mechanics and other skilled trades for vehicle modification and production.. It is a tradition there starting with the jeepney. On my first visit my uncle showed me his old Mercedes that was kept going with Toyota parts including the carburetor. The car ran perfectly. I understand there are several restoration centers there now. The talent for producing this supercar is plentiful.

    Tbh. The test fields of this car is a really paved flat surface. I live in Laguna Phillippines and the test field was on Splash Island Resort. I used to practice driving there and i can prove that the surface is well built without bumps so the car shouldn't be jumping like that. As a fan of the build myself. I think they really f*cked up the suspension of this car just to give it that lowered look. It looks like they just took some after market springs for a Honda Civic then cut it to make it fit onto the tubular chassis. Plus the high power output would make the suspension stress even more pulling up more g's when accelerating.

      if you attest to the road condition and we are seeing the car hop like that, then i somewhat agree with your assessment, the suspension must still be under development, needs further tuning to match the weight, spring compliance, etc...on all corners. i am a fan as well, the passion is shown on the basic design, now just need to match the looks with the suspension, the trickiest part of the car's likeability. it may also increase the cars price if throwing technology like magnaride...

    My argument, it's not trying to fake a Ferrari It's not badged like any other car, it has it's own name and if it does well enough, It may be able to partner up with Toyota or Mitsubishi for a more standardized production, sharing parts with other established models of established brands. I think it's pretty cool and provides decent power. What I think, these kinds of startups can take advantage of the fact that, in most places, you won't be allowed to push the supercars to their limit unless you're tracking them. However they can tune these cars to perform like supercars at lower speeds while cutting costs on the equipment required to function as a supercar at higher speeds. This will definitely appeal to those who aren't really interested in tracking their cars but want a beautiful sportscar to show off in. I think it's also perfect timing as newer electric cars are getting closer and closer to threatening the performance of existing supercars, eventually, the appeal of gas powered supercars may begin to wane. Thus making cheaper supercar alternatives more attractive to the average buyer.

    I'll give my honest opinion. When I heard the exhaust, I was like why does this sound like a honda, and its because it is a honda engine. Performance. Yeah it has 500 something from a turbo 4 banger, but honestly at least go 6 cylinders, especially with hypercar styling. Speaking of styling, i like the hypercar like styling, the long wheelbase, etc etc, and since they only sell like 20 per year, thats where im worried. If the car does well, they might see this opportunity, cancel the aurelio, basically make the same thing with slightly better build quality and power, and make it hella expensive (like vaydor). Yeah im not gonna proofread that paragraph so if it doesnt make sense at all dont judge me im super tired

      @@bluemopdisaster6445 Realistically, this car isn't going to be sold in the united states, or most of europe. There's simply no way it's going to pass safety tests and certifications using it's current materials. That plastic body alone means it's likely not to make it very far.
      There's also the fact that these aren't produced in an actual factory, and the fact that you're ordering a car from the other side of the world with 0 places to take it in for repairs or maintenance if something happens. I like the idea of this car, I really do, but it's just not realistic to think it'll be sold here.

    • @MuShinnen
      @MuShinnen 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stevekoffeld9071 Kit cars still have to meet safety regulations. It's why they take so long to come to market. It's not just design work for aesthetics. It takes a lot of R&D before those kit cars hit the road. They are tested in wind tunnels, put in multiple types of collisions, tested with different configurations and in different weather conditions etc. Comparing this to something like an ultima with decades of testing, and manufacturing quality is a bit disingenuous.
      Other kit car companies also have licensed dealers within other countries, as well as full logistical, and technical support. It comes with the price tag. This car is 30k for a reason. It lacks what the other cars have, from tooling, to staff, and full development testing. Even watching it in the video the car had a lot of body roll, and terrible suspension. That's not even including the cheap materials of the body, and the way it's been cut.
