Who says you have to live in your own station and not above it? Well, for most of us it’s our checkbooks and their inability to keep adding zeroes to get those amazing rides that we spend all our time dreaming about in the pages of car magazines. When a good car gets old enough it becomes a collectors car and can quickly exceed the original asking price. But for some select cars there’s a sweet spot of not too old to be a classic but not new enough to demand new car prices that provides the opportunistic bargain hunter a chance to buy a car that looks like you park it in an air conditioned garage. There are some that are even downright cheap by comparison to what you’d be getting for that money in a new car. Of course nothing comes easy and with most of these cars there’s a catch and more often than not that catch is if you’re not spending the money upfront, you’ll be spending it on the backend in maintenance costs and down time when your finicky exotic starts to complain about your daily commute. For some it’s worth the hassle to hear that beastial engine grunt or finally tuned corner carving. Whether your tastes come in Italian for a Lamborghini, Maserati, or Alfa Romeo or British with the likes of Jaguar or Aston Martin, there’s something out there for you to make a big splash at your local burger stand. Just to point out, you confused the 2009 Vantage specs for the newer 2018 model. The 2009's V8 was built by Aston Martin and was based on the Jaguar V8.

People forget : tire cost , maintenance . As stated here the Aston Martin annual maintenance bid $10k . While you may buy it for the price of a new Camry you are not getting the reliability of Toyota !!

@@Raul79mty Maintenance/insurance etc is probably around 30k a year for a Bugatti, so if you drive it 1,000mi/yr that's $30/mi

U can't get a 2008 or any 1st Gen body r8 V10 in the 58k mark do your research. The value on these cars have freaking shot up since the announcement of the last year of the R8. U can get the first gen R8 for around 70k to 90k most are closer to the 90k mark. I know this cause I have recently been heavily shopping for one but it has to be the right one. KBB and other market value companies do not look at appreciated value into there calculations.

Luxury Sports Cars are not for ordinary, run of the mill fellows ... Just the oil change on a McLaren 720 can put a big hole in your pocket ...forget about tuning and service ... where can you drive it? It needs over 100 to open up its throttle ... yes, German Autobahn or Italian Autostrada or Nürburgring Ring ...
