In today's adventure, we head to Lockwood Creek and Miller Jeep Trail.
This is definitely not a beginner friendly trail. Tune in this video and see if we make it out. This event was led by Ric Durant, one of overland4lo trail lead.

Cool video. Glad you enjoyed the trails. FWIW, Point Mugu 4x4 Club maintains Lockwood Trail from the trailhead near Lockwood Valley Road to Sunset Campground (your lunch spot). Bakersfield Trailblazers maintains Miller Jeep Trail from Sunset Campground to Dutchman Campground at the top of Alamo Mountain. Both trails are considered hard trails. If you have any specific issues with any portion of either trail, please let us know.

That’s my favorite local trail. The internet says it’s easy but the forest service rates it as most difficult. I didn’t know it was open. Gonna have to make a run up there soon. Good job on the trail and video!

1. I could not go that slow holy cow haha I get tho on some parts you have to like those steep rocky spots but those open dirt fire roads Aw man
2. No idea how you off road with stuff josslin around and hangin around and swinging all over the place lol
3. That first legit obstacle: should’ve been a straddle down the middle the entire time. That keep maverick did it perfect

Awesome! Very fun trail. I just made an updated video 2 weeks ago. The 1st main obstacle is more rutted out. The 2nd obstacle is easier.

I see a new name ha! XBENTURE lol! I think your setup is fine to do this trail. Just watch out for your approach angle with thoes rocks and you have a longer wheelbase. This trail might be easier for you.

Guz went driver too hard. You have to keep the passenger side on that rock. I’ve seen so many trucks get stuck either going right to too far left. The keyos to keep it close to center. Go left a bit soon as the right tire is on that rock start turning right.
