If you want a surface that you can clean all the ink off of the best I have found is grafix craft plastic in opaque white. It is also more heat resistant than yuppo and cheaper. Thanks for the video!

Thank you so much for that sweet comment, Debbie. I don’t feel like I’ve mastered the alcohol inks yet but i sure am having a grand time practicing. There are so many ways to play with them. Have a wonderful weekend!

Your art inspires me......which is what I’ve been looking for.....it’s simply beautiful!!!!!
“Dancing in the Rain” my first thought for a name.
I’ve only ever commented once b4, and I’ve never worked with alcohol inks, BUT, I’m writing this and I went and bought inks and yupo paper yesterday!
Thank you! You’re calm manner in teaching makes anyone watching think they can do it too. I mean seriously, who can’t or doesn’t DOODLE??

Hi CeeCee, "Bumble Bee's Brunch" the small doodle lines on the extensions of the flowers remind me of bees and I am so ready for spring. It's beautiful. Can't wait to CeeCee more.

I paint with my inks all the time. I draw, and then I paint. I don't use Yupo paper, I use card stock or copy paper. works great. sometimes I add some gold with the ink, and it looks beautiful. you should try that. I love what you are doing though. It has inspired me to do some too. I have photo paper here. Apparently it works just a s good as Yupo. Thank you for sharing, much appreciated!!

Another beautiful piece. As I watched you create, I felt very peaceful. I zoned out completely from my world around me. There was harmony as I ‘drowned’ in your art. Perhaps a good name for this piece could be - HARMONY.

CeeCee Tim Holtz has a palette this year that you can add your Alcohol inks to and then let them dry. Then you use your blender and a paintbrush to paint with. It looks really fun!

  • @monicaeggleton4510

You can add blending solution in your palette to have more time to paint. You can use rubbing alcohol or blending solution to dry ink in pallet to use the ink again. Also, if you want a stronger, deeper color then add more than you think you will use into your pallet; wait a little time for some evaporation before using the ink and it will be thicker and stronger color to paint with...less fluid, so it stays where you put it. Krylon is the brand to use, but you need to use UV resistant spray as well as the sealer. Either way; 2 layers of UV resistant, followed by 2-3 layers of sealer...OR 2-3 layers sealer +2 layers UV resistant. You can use alcohol ink with anything you would do with water colors. For more color choices you can use copic refill ink, or mix your own. Hope this gives you some more information for future work.
