    ADDITIONAL REVIEW NOTES:
    FEATURES
Pixel Buds Pro have multipoint connectivity
Both have find my buds, google fast pair, etc
Pixel Buds pro have better voice assistant integration, unless you really like Bixby
    DESIGN
IPX7 vs IPX4 (but PB case is IPX2)
Both have wireless charging, mono mode, bluetooth 5.0
    Aesthetics - Pixel Buds Win
    Battery life - 11/31 vs 8/28
Comfort - orienting is tricky, but comfortable. Pixel Buds Pro have pressure relief
This is subjective. I think I like PB better
Pixel buds have touch controls, but also swipe controls
Tap and hold to hear notifications
    MIC TEST
    SOUND
Hungersite by Goose has great detail in the intro percussion
Warm and detailed acoustic guitar in the intro as well
Clean and full sound when the full band enters
Better instrument separation and a more accurate and natural representation
Fun and lively, with a fair amount of detail
Pixel Buds are warm and dark, with an emphasis on snares. EQ could help this.
The bass is tight, punchy, and pretty capable
Lacks detail and sounds more distant than Galaxy Buds Pro
Congestion and blurring of similar sounds like cymbals
    Lots of energy though
Conclusion: Galaxy Buds Pro have more detail and are more balanced with better sound overall
    ANC
    Intelligent ANC on Galaxy Buds
Blocks to about volume 22, but there is white noise so it;s hard to tell
Galaxy Buds Pro have way less white noise (basically none)
Galaxy Buds Pro block to level 27 before it is louder than my breathing
Engine sounds were 18/20 with GB winning that as well (I think they improved since launch)
    PRICE
    $199 for Pixel Buds Pro
$199 for Galaxy Buds Pro, but usually on sale for a bit less
So my choice: If the Galaxy buds are on sale, they are a clear choice. At the same price, I would say get the Galaxy Buds if you love audio and ANC, and get the Pixel buds for any other reason, including features and aesthetic

Also it has better mics, wireless charging, and is more comfortable than the Pixel Buds and Airpods as well. And ya I use all of those features.

One slight correction, Mike: You can control volume on the earbuds with the Galaxy Buds Pro. It's a "Labs" setting, though. When activated, you can tap the sides of the earbuds to raise or lower volume. Tap the side of the left earbud to lower volume, and the right one to raise it.

I love my Pixel Buds Pro. Haven't had any sound problems in any mode. And getting a full 10+hours when not using ANC or Transparency mode (which still give 7/8 hours). Honestly don't need ANC bc of the seal. Curious about next update (already had 1)

i really love the sound of the buds pro, it's powerful, but have pretty good clarity considering it doesn't have aptX or aptX Adaptive codec, while still giving a detailed and thumping bass
the only problem is, as i experience with other galaxy buds line up, the touch response is slow, and the in ear detection works by "mood", and the worst of all, it just doesn't stay in my ear well, even just going for a walk is enough to make it loose, it don't fit as well as the buds 2 and almost certainly doesn't stay as well as the pixel

I have owned the silver Galaxy Buds for almost a year, not quite. They are the best headphones I've ever owned. I actually bought them for $90 with taxes USED from best buy. No issues at all. I love the block touches feature. Never had an issue with phone calls and the classic "I'm having a hard time hearing you." The gloss is very out there, also wear and tear seems to show because of that. Almost like pepper looking on your headphones. To clarify, my mom accidentally ran over the bud with her car. How it survived idk. 😂 but it does show that sign of damage now, and I feel like it's more significant with the gloss. No issues with the case, I actually love the fit. I would say they last around 8 hours, but it's not doing much more. Galaxy wearables is a fantastic Samsung app for the buds. Having said all this, the Pixel buds pro have a nice look to them, with that amazing color choice. I may move to them. At the end of the day, I have had no issues with Samsung or Google products. They are both very good in the long haul.

Pixel Buds seem to have the same type features as my Nothing Ear 1's.
I'm not a Nothing Fan Boy, I just enjoy cheaper products that actually work.
both my White & Black Pairs have been spectacular! I wear mine in while saltwater fishing in the rain & extreme heat of SE Texas with no issues.
I have a ton of ear buds & for $99? You can't beat the Ear 1's.
I figured out a little hack for ANC mode.
Install them with ANC activated & then deactivate & reactivate the ANC. Everything just dissappears & you forget your wearing them & the sound is killa with ANC On. I can't justify $200 for Earbuds

The ANC is definitely usable I went to the grocery store and could only pick up a few small noises here and there Transparency mode works well too although this is my first time using a set of earbuds with these features I owned the 2020 Pixel Buds and the original Airpods and I only really upgraded because the battery life was starting to get under 2 hours on the Pixel Buds and the Airpods we're long gone as far as battery life, the sound quality in my opinion is miles better compared to the PB2020 and I'm pretty happy with my purchase overall especially that battery life though 🤤 I work long shifts and I can only have one earbud in at a time and to have one that can last almost an entire 16 hour shift is amazing no more switching 2/3 times a day

Here goes: I like the Pixel buds in the looks department, I like their feature set as well and finally I think it sounded better in the mic test. Sound will have to wait until I actually hear them. I heard the Galaxy's and found it competent, I'm waiting on my Pixel buds to see if it compares or not. I could care less about active noise cancelling personally, but I guess it's important to some. Great comparison Mike, I look forward to the same with the Apple Pro's added to the mix!

On the features of the Pixel Buds Pro - you didn't even bring up the biggest one, that being the Live Translation! Absolutely an amazing feature that no one else has. I bought them for that alone. Travel, In-laws, getting my hair did. I could go on and on how much having the Google assistant translate someone talking in a different language to my language right in my ear has helped. Now I know what the ladies in the salon are saying 😂 but also its helped when I traveled and also I put the buds in a family visitor's ears and they were able to participate in the conversation. • @Euforikk

6:32 that is what I wanted to see.
    Microphone test.
Buds are for calls, then for music.
I'd mostly use them for calls and I gotta say.. Galaxy Buds are way better than Pixel Buds.
That's a bummer. I love the new Pixel Buds but, BUT they feel like a replacement of the A Series.
I own a S21 and I was hoping to get a Google Buds, but now im very confused.
Why spend 220€ on something that has THAT BAD microphone quality.
    It's incredible.
Also, imho reviewers put too much attention to everything else. Buds are for calls, then music.
