ALSO ONE thing I definitely should've included in the video: SOME LIGHTCONES ARE A LOT BETTER IN PURE FICTION. e.g. Geniuse's Repose basically has permanent uptime (Free 48% Crit DMG), - Solitary Healing (Herta Shop Nihility LC) gives a lot of energy when enemies die to DoT = more ults for Kafka. - Night on the Milky Way also has much better uptime in PF - Seriousness of Breakfast (MOC Shop erudition) is also super easy to stack in PF. ALSO: another unit people might underestimate, Firefly is insane when paired with Himeko! Those two together is especially good for the current second half of PF.
@@ignacioperez5479 Yep it does work, but it's not very good. Her ult doesn't really help to much with clearing through waves so you would much rather put it on Kafka if you have her.
@@pokedude3221 herta maybe? Assuming your firefly can get enemy mobs to half health with her enhanced skill. It's mainly their synergy with break that makes ff and himeko work so well together. Also the fire implant is convenient for himeko as well.

Also something that some people miss, I think - invest in your support units. Get their best lightcones (4* or even 5*), good relic sets with relevant substats, upgrade their talents. Giving my Tingyun a few minor upgrades actually made the difference between clearing the current 4th floor of PF, since I couldn't get a good enough first half.
The experimentation definitely works. There have even been times where all I did was swap the teams on which sides they were and it all worked out. Works for both other challenge modes as well.
As a Herta main since release, I love pure fiction for giving my girl the spotlight she deserves and seeing everyone use her for pure fiction makes me happy lol
Step 1: build Herta Step 2: Profit Or you don't even need to build Herta this PF, you can just have her in the team with your main MoC team and she would do great. This PF basically doesn't need built Herta or Himeko, just need them for the FuA count.
my tips probablly is read the blessing, there is some blessing that can brute force your team as long the requiment is fullfield. example, this season PF its really relies on FUA and you can get the nuke bonus dmg using 1st Blessing. this make Character like Misha, March 7 can have advantage. but dont use March Ultimate, since if enemies get freeze then you will miss march proc her FUA Counter. Aventurine and Robin also make this season PF kinda easy, Topaz amazing as well.

In case it's your gameplay being shown, you should consider putting Aventurine between two of your other characters instead of the last slot. When he gets hit by AOE attacks in between two characters, one additional teammate gets hit and he gets his follow-up attack stacks faster. Of course, with him being a Preservation unit he'll get targeted more often, including AOE's.
The pull advice came in handy: I have been suffering from the lack of Physical characters in my roster, and now I will get Argenti since Firefly wouldn't come home :(
@ABC-yj6cy nah argenti is very good in pf. And is good too on moc and you can buff him a lot if you have huohuo and tingyun with him, then just slap a sparkle or another harmony in there. I saw people clear as and moc with e0s0 argenti. Have fun strib!
I know this is late, but I heavily agree with tip 5 since I used a team of E0S1 Acheron E0S0 Black Swan E0S0 Kafka and E0S0 Huohuo I thought it wasn't going to give me much point at most I expected is around 20 to 25k point but I was dead wrong at most point I seen was around to 30 to 34k points and I used that team on first half of the current pure fiction. Even with previous pure fiction, I got at least 30k points. This was the best accidental team comp I used since I usually go for the new dps and barely any new support or sustainer. Then, the other team in pure fiction I used was E0S1 Firefly with E0S1 tanky Himeko E6 HMC and E0S0 Ruan Mei.
These are all good tips. The only time I find PF difficult is when they have dot specific blessings (have only raised Welt & Pela in terms of nihility characters), and I don't really feel like pulling the entire premimum DoT team for just PF feels like a good idea
Man thanks for this lineup. Easily completed it maxed stars with autoplay and with 70k points lmao. Only difference is I used Adventurine instead of Fu Xuan.
Its kind of obvious given how often you are using him in the video but aventurine is the absolute best sustain in PF and honestly sometimes better to run than a no sustain team. This latest PF4 phase 1 I was able to perfect clear it with Clara/Herta/Topaz/Aventurine, putting much less stress on the second team to get the 3 star. The enemy composition on wave 2 worried me about using clara but the other characters can carry her through that wave while she completely destroys waves 1+3.
i cleared some older PF with no sustains but I couldnt do no sustain for the last one cuz people kept dying midway through, so it ended up being similar to with sustain
Herta is not a free e6, you get e5 for free. Ive been playing since release, clear every content and have even spent quite a bit of money yet i still dont have e6 herta. Also if you cant clear pf, just summon for units that will help, not sure why people arent ready to summon for pf characters, yet summon for a bunch of characacters that are good in moc, no one goes into moc expecting to clear it every cycle with 100% free units so why do the same with pf? You dont even need units that work only in pf either, a lot of the supports like ruan mei/robin or aventurine/huohuo can help a lot in pf, while also being good everywhere else. Ofc units like jade/argenti will make pf super easy so if u cant clear it just go for them, especially since they will also be usable in moc if built well and got the correct weakness going on.
I'm ended just totally helpless with PF! 😫 I've tried every team composition, and results are somewhat same. Just cannot get the logic behind it. What are points to success in PF? What I missing? Maybe it's just my characters are too underdeveloped? Not having enough rough power to break trough. They have 8 lvl skills, 75+ lvl, 80 lvl 4* lightcones, and some trash substats relics. The sets and lightcones I suppose are proper according to most guides.
can ratio work in pf? i have herta and want himeko soon when i reach the 300 standard pull selector. planning pulling jade but 0 pity and barely pulls cause ruan mei, should i go for argenti cause he is erudition or a random dot bs with guanaifen can clear?
Ratio won't work very well in PF outside of when there is a buff that helps hunt units. DoT can be very good if you have Kafka, if not you'll need some DoT blessings to make it work. For Jade or Argenti, I would recommend going for Jade because I think she's going to be a bit stronger for PF, but if you like Argenti more he'll be fine as well!
Imo argenti is better on a baseline,jade needs another erudition unit built aswell which is just alot of work assuming your herta or himeko arent already built

Ye, he's good. Not as good as the top PF carries, but he's definitely up there.
I was able to score 22k in current PF first half with Jing Yuan, Sparkle, Tingyun, and Lynx. Second half cleared with Herta Himeko duo 40k.
