I can’t believe that there was a time where you could just barely walk outside of your house in a city in Japan and already max out your streetpasses. What an amazing thing to have experienced.
Y'know that the Japan McDonald's training game is extremely rare for anyone to play and find and was only a training simulator not an advertisement of 3rd party games...
Never noticed the lack of third party as I had so many first party games and other exclusives to enjoy. There was plenty of third party exclusives too. Can't really expect a handheld to have every third party game out there. Much better to have games designed for it rather than trying to make a compromised port of some boring triple a game.
Yep, the ds had more 3rd party because it was the first part in the line of ds systems. However, I feel it had less first party games. 3ds is reversed, but I think the few 3rd parties games are WAY stronger: ever oasis, dillons rolling west, steamworld, pushmo and the other ones in the series, and the first resident evil revelations are some highlights!

This only applies to the one model, but the New 3DS XL requiring you either take off the entire back plate or use the incredibly slow network file transfer just to get to the SD card is pretty frustrating.
I wouldn't say the had a lack of third party support when you had a fully playable resident evil game oh and you could play street fighter, monster hunter and even exclusive persona games, so yeah considering most of third party games for portable consoles are usually shovelware I'd say the 3ds had a good third party library

Literally the only problem I could have with it is it’s just not comfortable for large hands. Even the XL is way too hard to hold still and comfortably without thinking you’re going to crush it or cause overheating.
