I’m a young single mom (I’m 28 and my daughter is 6), I own and operate my own hair salon, im a full time college student working on my masters degree, training for a half marathon, and I still work out every day. Even if it’s just a 30 min walk, jog, or quick weight sesh. Don’t ever apologize for your opinions just because you’re a teenager! Keep killin the game girl! ❤

I don't actually see a difference between waking-up early vs staying up late. As long as you get the same hours of sleep you don't have any more or less hours per day to be productive either way.

Hi, I just want to say thank you for your down to earth approach. I am 33 and 8 months pregnant with baby #2. It’s been really hard for me to get back into a good mindset for working out. 3 years ago I used to incorporate weights, yoga, Pilates, running, snowboarding, paddle boarding.. you name it. I feel like I have completely lost my sparkle. My family means everything to me and it has been a huge life change, but that excitement I had has been missing for what feels like a very long time now. Your advice about romanticizing the process was so spot on and I haven’t thought to cultivate that specialness in a long time. And the makeup you use is so affordable and looks really nice. I’ve gotten a little carried away with fancy expensive brands that aren’t even noticeably better honestly. Anyway, thank you for reminding me to uncomplicate my beauty and fitness routine! I’ve started using my weights (albeit not at all heavy right now) and peloton again. It’s a small start, but it means a lot to me. haha yes in general I have good genetics but my skin has actually come a long way. I guess its just not very sensitive. but now that everyones commented on the lotion I will no longer be using it haha (I didn't know it should only be used for hands LOL)

I'm a fulltime Master's student with 100% mandatory classes (you know, with the name calls every class so I cant skip), and even I find the time to hit 10-20k steps daily and exercise 5 times a week. I also prefer doing it early in the morning, for me it sets the tone of the day and makes me feel accomplished and therefore happier. I am currently working on my thesis/dissertation and still make it all work. edit: sorry for any mistakes. I never studied English, learned it from social media and TV. :) edit: I currently do a second MSc. and still going strong! my classes are 8.30am-4-5pm and I do my workout around 5-5.30 am!
Something you took for granted: the fact that your gym is open at 5:00am. My gym opens at 7:00am, so on days when I have class early, I can’t go before Uni (I still manage to go 5 times per week, personally). It’s not just about „making the time if you really want something“
What time does ur recreation center open my school has the recreation center in the tuition so i basically get free gym and its right across the dorms and my calsses
as a 27 year old (given i have no kids and live alone), i have to say it was WAY harder for me to wake up earlier in high school than it is for me now. on high school especially as an athlete i was constantly exhausted and school would take so much out of me. so i just have to say i’m impressed and it’s super honorable that you’re committed to this at such a young age. you’re going to do great things Amelie(:

Edit: also, the Pinterest quote, finding fuel not emotions, I one time was so heart broken over some dumb guy and I started crying hard in a parking lot. I normally would have ran into the store to grab a bag of chocolate-the bag. Not a bar. Lol true. But I had some pistachios right next to me. I started eating the pistachios for some reason, maybe just trying to distract myself so maybe I could quite crying enough the go into the store. But I cried hard through the whole maybe a whole handful or so. So I stopped crying, and actually felt okay. Like a sense of well being. Like the world wasn’t crashing down anymore. I didn’t even need to go in and get a whole bag. I decided I could go get a bar. But that I didn’t have to. I found out that pistachios have a high count of Ltyrosine in them. It was a blessing that I just started mindlessly eating them! And I’ve tried to keep them in my usual snacks just to help myself out. So yes, that Pinterest quote was awesome. TLDR im sorry! 🫶🏻
the thing with me is that I sleep 2 to 4 hours per day depending the day, and that’s if I don’t pull an all-nighter, the reason being college so if I can’t find time to literally sleep a decent amount of time, I don’t know how I would find time to work out during the week :( I do what I can on the weekends
as long as you are doing what you can! "1% better every day" but I strongly push you to try and prioritize sleep. Im not in college yet so I cannot relate but sleep is so important.
