I live in Pueblo currently. The pros are true, wish he mentioned the Pueblo Chile Festival though. The Cons were cherry picked. Pueblo is considered one of the top 50 most dangerous places to live in the US, though I've never directly experienced it living here, there is a quite a bit of crime and a good amount of homeless nowadays. They call Pueblo "Steel City" for the steel mill and some would call it "STEAL City". Can't leave anything out and cars are constantly being broken into/stolen/siphoned. Plenty of gun violence as well. Regardless, i love Pueblo.

I would also discuss the about the fly fishing opportunities and being the #1 winter fishery in the state.
You act like Pueblo is such a great city with much to offer, when in reality, this city has NOTHING to offer. There is nothing to do here, jobs are scarce, abandoned ugly ass buildings that indicate no desire to live here, poverty levels high, rude people that have no manners, and just an overall nasty town. 4.40% Pueblo County, CO Unemployment Rate is at 4.40%, compared to 3.90% last month and 4.20% last year. This is lower than the long term average of 6.69%. With a crime rate of 70 per one thousand residents, Pueblo has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 14. In 2019, Pueblo had the third-largest share of people experiencing homelessness in Colorado's non-metro counties with 15%. Only Larimer and Mesa counties had higher shares at 22% and 16%, respectively.
If you don't like humid summers, Pueblo won't be your cup of tea. Pueblo rentals are NOT cheap, and there are no PROS of living here. Lake Pueblo is a joke. That's a pond compared to Lake Mead in Nevada, Lake of The Woods in Oregon... Pueblo is NOT what people say it is as far as the PROS here. The traffic on I-25 is always stuffy, there's always wrecks on I-25, because these Pueblo natives can't drive for shit. Careless drivers, and they don't watch out for pedestrians, dogs, or anything else that runs into the street. Not too long ago, there was an old man's body found by the Pueblo reservoir ditch. He mentioned Bessemer. I live in the Bessemer area off Northern and Wabash. Sucky. Stay out of Bessemer park, don't eat at Taco Stop, they don't know what real food is. Passkey, never been there, but if I want sub sandwiches, I'll go to Subway. Don't eat at the Burger King on Northern, their food will make you sick, and if you are craving McDonalds and happen to be shopping at the BIG Walmart on Northern Avenue, use the drive thru of McDonalds which is right across the parking lot from Walmart, do not go in to eat, because they don't clean off their tables, their floors are always nasty, and there are incessant flies buzzing around in there. This town is NOT good. You wanna get sick, go eat at Popeye's, drink Arby's moldy, mildew shakes, eat Adolfo's nasty wannabe-Mexican food. They don't wash their hands, nor wear gloves or hairnets in that sick place. Jersey Mike's is nasty, don't eat there. I'm telling you from experience, this town is not that great, and when he said "We don't have the loud traffic in the city", buddy I live really close to Northern Avenue, and there is LOUD traffic every night, gets worse on the weekends. Tweakers rule the streets, and heroin junkies too, you'll see a lot of beggars and addicts hanging out at each 7-11 location here. And, the question you'll hear the most when you're walking around Pueblo, is: "Do you have a cigarette?" Blech. Dude, some people love this town, and for the life of me, I cannot and will not ever understand it. I DO, however, enjoy the Riverwalk at night when it's all lit up, and The Green Solution dispensary is the shit. Best dispensary in town. Other than that, oh no, you'll tire of Pueblo very quickly. I've lived here since December of 2013, and I've hated Pueblo since I set foot here off the Greyhound bus. Just came here to get clean and sober from Oregon, and to help my mom out financially but she just recently passed away in September of 2021, so now I have no reason to be here. I just can't figure out how to get out of here. I wanna leave Colorado so bad. This town is hell. I wish I had the transportation and financial means to get out of here and go back to Las Vegas where I was raised and never look back. No offense to those who like it here, but it's not for me. Especially since it snows here. I left Oregon for the same reason. Just going back to the desert is where my heart is. Gotta go follow it. If Colorado is for you, great. It's obviously not for me.

I mean, you DID live near/in Bessemer. Historic places aren’t necessarily good. 😂😂
Lol another person said the same thing but it was near central high. So if you ever decide to move back south side is a lot better now
I live in Pueblo currently.
Wow, such a true comment. The odds of u having to shoot somebody is very very high. That's terrible to think of such a thing would happen to u huh? But they are drug infested
Great information 👍🏿
You can most places in my STATE in 15 minutes
DON'T MOVE HERE. Lived here my whole life. If your dreams include getting robbed, murdered, chopped up, and being thrown in a dumpster behind a village inn than its where your dream can come true.
wtf LMAO
Who the hell live there? Jack the Ripper?
@@katnisseverdeen1444 It's pretty bad. Had a serial killer here recently doin exactly what I said except for the robbing.
THIS IS THE BRUTAL TRUTH GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY !
That shit happens everywhere
@@leeschmitz993 It happens here often
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
No mention of education, medical accessibility and safety.
You forgot Pasta cottage!!!
Way to highlight Pueblo's amenities. If people want to know more about our outdoor amenities they can checkout PACE Pueblo Active Community Environment, along with the Southern Colorado Trail Builders.
You must've been born here. I feel sorry for you...
So it’s not a hell hole… Just kidding. I’m sure it’s fine like one comment mention just keep your nose clean stay out of other peoples business like any city.
You didn't say anything about the schools. Pueblo school district is nowhere near the top. That's the best I can say about that. People look to move to Colorado should also look at Grand junction. Best town, best schools best lifestyle Ft. Collins.
Or Aguilar, it's a simple little town but it's actually peaceful
Zero benefits living here. First time in over 30 years that I was fired. Right to Work state. First place I DIDNT get hired due to my 4 page resume. Never lived in a town with so many businesses that CLOSED after 50 years. It's lawless as hell. LE isn't anywhere. Food comes to die in Pueblo
Exactly someone said the Mexican food was good down here, like no. Burg has better food 💀
@@Ahhahahahaha_urmum Mexican food here in disgusting Never seen so many Mexicans NOT proud of their heritage but instead choose to be criminals. Pueblo is a town perfect for crime and murder. LE does nothing at all.
I live in Greeley/ Fort Collins. I’ve heard it’s bad there. Idk how bad but I’ve heard it’s a shit hole. Really needs a hard crackdown on drugs.
Been living here the last month working on a marijuana farm. From Pittsburgh but I love it here and Colorado Springs
Living in Pueblo also from Pittsburgh. 👍🏻
Are you still there? Best friend in Pittsburgh… I’m from chicago…… thinking Pueblo….. ?
@@roxyzed I wouldn’t recommend it got old real quick. I’ve since moved to Jacksonville Florida
House mex.
Fun fact, never send your kids to Pueblo academy of arts if you want a healthy mental state for your child, (I'll never send my kid again) instead settle for a different school
Why are you pronouncing it Plublo?
I also do home health in Pueblo and I’ve never seen such decrepit living situations in my life.
The food in Pueblo sucks unless you like sloppers
2:14 people in Pueblo love to ride bikes sir that’s the homeless tweakers riding bikes all over town🤣🤣
The history. A movie could be made. Gangsters for real. Make Bonnie and Clyde look like romper room. The reason why it was so cool, was cause u die if ur not cool. After a few beat downs. U find u love and respect or else u dont fit in
If you don't like drug infested hotels, beggars, violent crime, property crime, etc don't move here. I know it's everywhere. But Pueblo is in the top 25 for crime in the country. Seriously don't move here
Actually, it’s #50.
@@leeschmitz993 50 out of thousands of other towns ain't a great look.
@@ynotdrewans4957 you’re also not considering the fact that the average US town has fewer than 500 people, so by sheer mathematics, they’re not going to even register.
@@leeschmitz993 trust me anytown is a million times better then that shit hole pueblo.
Pueblo is "The Murder Capital" of Colorado.
there are plenty of ex cons and cons that live in pueblo ...
I grew up there went to central ran an own one of the best an first an only class discos in the city,,the only other game in town was jack at 50 west,,,then i did the right thing and savemy ass and left and have never ever looked back at this shit hole,,,,! save your time and money......
Rents have increased 300% apartments here are most disgusting and stink of urine, weed and despair.
Ya pretty much that seems like a CO thing in general.
4.40%
Pueblo County, CO Unemployment Rate is at 4.40%, compared to 3.90% last month and 4.20% last year.
You’re full of shiiiit, it’s not that bad.
