pueblo absolutely needs improvement. there isn’t even a chase bank there. the town is desperately underdeveloped and has been since the late 80’s when the steel market crashed.
People have jobs and cars and houses fed families.what u talking about?
@@unaderaifukey480 didn’t say people don’t have those things. read my comment over and try again.
Everywhere in America !!
Drove a cab at night in Pueblo. Bars suck. Most are empty. No night life due to high crime and murder rate at night.
wait so the downsides are: no big chain restaurants (more mom and pops), no major sports teams (duh), no big shopping centers, dust, close to the vest people, and nightlife could be opened past 10pm? I've seen comments about crime and when asked about it people talk about gangs/drugs as if pueblo has cornered the market. maybe y'all need to get out more to learn how to appreciate what you have.
🥰
Typical guy that doesn't like it's own small city. I been living here 6yrs and love it
Farmers market and ma pa is my jam I can deal with dust it's all the other allergens here. I love the outdoors that's what I want.
Ive been in pueblo since i was 10 and I don't think you people know anything about pueblo watch the news more crime happens in springs but if you look for it your sure to find it ,alot of good people here only 5% is crime and most of that is the government
Thank you for being so honest
almost got robbed at the circle K
Lady threatened to stab me after I ignored her when she asked for a lighter
I am moving from Cascade back to Pueblo to be closer to work. I found a recently renovated warehouse on Main Street.
@@180mmTV this stuff can and does happen anywhere lol.
Yes seriously don't move here. So we can enjoy the outdoors the beautiful sky range the beautiful walking paths. The beautiful lakes and parks without so many people move in here yes stay away from here cause you don't want to enjoy what we enjoy here in Pueblo. The beautiful culture the beautiful people that welcome you You can actually have a conversation with a small business owners. But no you don't want to move here to enjoy people and the outdoors. It actually saved Money because you're not tempted by every store on every corner. But no you don't want to move here because it's beautiful. You talk about crime It's not as bad as denver or anywhere else in Colorado Crime is everywhere. But no stay away. Because we enjoy the small town small businesses the open skies the beautiful weather here We're actually can go up to the mountains and camp and not have so many people in our camp in spots so yes stay away.
the locals looked at me like i had a 3rd eye. my country grammar, my faithful beat-up car, the bruises on my face, and the pit bull in the back seemed to make some uncomfortable. even when i helped a couple of guys out by giving them the tool to break into their car after the locked the keys in the door. i jokingly said i guess you guys dont do this often huh (chuckled) and one looked at me like i called them something of the nastiest caliber and shook his head while saying no... with that being said i loved it there for vacation. plan on moving to pueblo spring of 2022. while i loved staying in aurora when we flew in to check out land near blanca for the weekend it was kinda like Gwinnet georgia. except you dont have this feeling you will get robbed at the gas station or a crackhead asking for a nickel (true stories from north atlanta)... outside of atlanta really isnt much but farmland or woods and not much to do without spending 50-100 easily without trees in the way or that being a baseline to spend... in colorado we had fun and went to many places and attractions threw $20 in the tank went to garden of the gods ate at the trading post for like 25 bucks and that was 3 of us so not bad cost... did pikes peak costed like $30... never in my life surrounding atlanta have i ever experienced peace and quite like i have in the areas south of denver period. nor have i had an experience that motivated me more than seeing the breath-taking sites that colorado had to offer. maybe with the exception of driving through the mountain range just as the sun began to rise between Bakersfield ca and LA... ive been from redding to LA... all over nevada, utah, az-ga, ga-cleaveland OH, ga- the Poconos in pa, ga- conneticut, and florida way more than i care to admit. something about colorado calls my name particularly pueblo.
People keep talking about the crime in Pueblo. I literally hear gun shots every night in my neighborhood in fort worth and there always finding random bodies in my part of town. Is it this level crime?
Bessemer's all good
@@danielstarr8957 😂😂😂 no this place maybe take the crime rate of the mavs stadium to north east Dallas (Plano Allen McKinney) I’d walk Pueblo at night before I’d walk oak cliff and cedar crest I’ve been all over Dallas but never had a reason to explore fort worth but yeah Pueblo has crime but as with most crime typically involves mental illness and or substance abuse so you get a meth monster who needs your change or you accidentally bumped billy badass type of problems but I was like 5 6 blocks south of the court house
@@danielstarr8957 Yes, unfortunately. A lot of crime for a smaller city.
@@SabrinaMeShell i just drove through pueblo and it was so many boarded up windows. I was honestly shocked that small towns could get so bad. What is going on down there?
Moved there from Colorado Springs hoping for a nice change but all I got was a smaller version of the Springs. Trash everywhere, homeless run rampant, crime through the roof and absolutely nothing to do but walk around the river walk for 10 minutes. Absolutely hated it . Moved back east thankfully.
Bye bye
Thankfully for sure
Goodness. Do a video on Bessemer and the lower south side. Both places are horrible. As a kid I used to swim at Bessemer park pool. As a teen I couldn't go there because the entire area was full of gangs. I left Pueblo 25 years ago. I'll never move back there.
We are looking into moving to this area and starting a Mexican Taqueria dont know if would it be popular amongst the community !!!!
It would be popular!
people don't eat food in pueblo
Thanks
No. Fake Mexican families here. Worst Mexican food ever. Pueblo is where food and customs come to.die
The crime is bad it takes place randomly on all sides of town. Most puebloans are related. So its difficult to keep crime in poorer parts of town.
Yeah it's interesting how he never mentions the crime rate.
No it's not that bad. And 60 ish% of the demographic is Caucasian tho you couldn't tell. Tho that's irrelevant. If you feel that way....problly your fault and associations. No one else does home kitty
@@paulw858 look it up. It's not that bad. Springs ...is way worse....BY Far By Number
PER CAPITA...so not just cause there's More People their. Funny how that is
@@unaderaifukey480 Seems like education might be lacking a bit, too.
@@paulw858 you can reference. I understand most of the video was mostly to subjectual...stuff. But yah pueblos not that bad. And no shiz whiz all Public education uses 12 year old text books, and 3 years to redo 30 miles a highway..when it took 2 in the 30s. Teach your kids. Some of us ain't so fortunate son. With graphic design n a go pro.... My dumb ass pay a kid with a hacked Gameboy color to produce a video of such quality and superfluous content. Jk bro.
Pueblos aight. Cheep, Concerts in springs. N actually really safe. Trust me ...or try....walk around springs most places at noon ght in springs...or a few blocks or two around here. And see which is more messed up, and numerous. Which anywhere should be able to tell. My bad bro. Just hate pueblo bashing...from Ignorence..which you can't teach
Seriously this channel avoids ever talking about the crime levels which is one of the main things people consider when moving! I know all cities have crime but the numbers here are staggering compared to other cities of similar size.
So true. I left Pueblo 30 years ago. It was bad then! I'll never move back there. I'd like to see a video on Bessemer, the East side (is bad) and the lower South side.
There are plenty of far more dangerous cities than Pueblo, Colorado. The problem is how Pueblo reports their data. Cities like Fort Worth, Texas, and Colorado Springs, CO have a higher crime rate while being technically safer on paper. Cities like Fort Worth incorporate rural land to dilute their crime rate by adding low-crime rural neighborhoods to the city limits. It doesn't make the city itself any safer, just makes it look safer.
Where I was getting with that, Pueblo, Colorado has a higher crime rate because the suburban development on the outskirts of Pueblo, Colorado, technically isn't Pueblo. Their safest neighborhoods are in a separate satellite community called Pueblo West. Realistically this means Pueblo West looks better by comparison at the expense of Pueblo. Depending on who you ask, this is a great arrangement for Pueblo. Perspective non-local home buyers/renters tend to avoid Pueblo because of it's reputation keeping home prices affordable. I've lived in Fort Worth Texas and I'll take Pueblo any day
@@hillofbeans2692 livin here right now. My god does It suck. Tried to explain to my newly moved friend you'll get shot 25 times for a pedal bike
@@TheOnlyGoku. Are you SERIOUS. I have grandchildren living near that city. Aren't the police on the job of eliminating the crime? It's a small city where did all this crime stems from. Thanks.
@@Leroy-wm4ib look it up grandma. anywhere near boulder sucks ass.
Go to the honor farm at night and see how fast it freaks you out
and I like Pueblo down by the river. Could I live in a Van by the river ?
It's cheap. It's not "dangerous". Colo Springs is 30 away. And all I know is Family, and sense of community here, specially middle lower. Just don't hang around the dope house, which is an element of ANYWHERE. Pueblo means town ...not state town or name town or etc. A place for people all peoples really
Yes, gunshots EVERY night. 22 murders in less than 1 year. Businesses shuttered after 50 years. EVERY motel filled with derelicts, drug addicts and zombies. Homeless fill the streets. This is a PUEBLO issue, not a country wide issue.
@Beard Family no thanks. I watch COPs. America is in decline. More drug addicts and criminals than good, hard working folks. We've become a 3rd world country
What is a safe suburb or town that has 2 bed apartments under 750$ monthly?
Anyone know a liquor store in pueblo that has good craft beer ?
Also happens to be the most violent place in Colorado
I think it's actually a nice city.
have you been anywhere else?(denver and springs don't count). it might be nice compared to somalia or haiti, but not much else.
I can give you alot of other reasons not to move to Pueblo as well. Good vid 👍
i like downtown Pablo
Sounds like a great place..
Yea, none of these things bothered me ^_^
only 6? off the rip, i can think of at least 6000.
Pueblo " the home of homeless"
Lmao, I'm moving to Pueblo right now. I've lived in Austin, San Francisco, New Orleans. If you think Pueblo has a lot of homeless i would think you haven't been around much of the country. I've seen 1 camp in Austin that had more homeless people than I've seen in all the time i spent in Pueblo combined
Lived in Pueblo for 22 years. It's ass. God Bless Texas!
Is the weather better than Texas?
@@danielstarr8957 as someone whos lived in texas for 30 years. I bets its better than Texas lol
Pueblo is trash
If someone breaks into your house can you legally shoot them like in Texas?
@@danielstarr8957 lmao nah
Smaller town but very populated
IMO, lack of franchise restaurants is not a con.
No Trader Joe’s, that is more like pro.
Chances are the locals, do not want their area to become infiltrated with west coast and, probably to a lesser extent, east coast transplants, which is why they are less than friendly.
Welcome, now go home 😁
Nepotism is horrible here. If you aren't from here or know people, good luck. Zero nightlife. Downtown is horrible. Constant beggars and losers approach you all day. The 2 "nicer" hotels have section 8 rooms so.......
My parents wanna move to pueblo, we are from Washington. The current city we live in has a lot of homeless, and street urchins... Now I see that the locals hate people moving there and I honestly see why.. SMH
I'm trying to move back to Spokane. Lol. Pueblo is disgusting. Gun shots all around town. Homeless burning homes and grasslands all over. LE is 40 officers short so if you have an emergency, good luck. 23 murders avg per year. Stay away.
@bagellord9337 see my 2 posts. Not making this up. LOOK up Pueblo News ans you'll see
As long as its less ghetto from were from the LA area!!!!!!
i promise you'll hate it.
@asshoIe ©94 why so negative bro?
@asshoIe ©94 please state the fact of not liking pueblo?
Don’t move there if you like your car.
Pue-blows.
Crime
Hard disagree that Pueblo "needs to work on" their nightlife. No they don't. Every place is different, and should be. If you don't like it, go somewhere that has what your looking for. Pueblo doesn't NEED to do anything for you.
