  • It has been a long time coming that I've wanted to do this trick.
I had quite a big crash trying to do it some time ago ... but finally had the confidence to try it again today and stomped the landing clean!
Late back roll megaloops here we come :)
Hayden Jonas was a massive help in teaching me this trick - he explained it super well and was on the beach watching/coaching me through this first one! Thanks Hayden!!
Check his TH-cam or Instagram if you like - he's going for the top step of Red Bull King of The Air and I'm looking forward to seeing him there!

Beautiful trick! If I were you I would be careful with kiting with a leash like this around the neck, it seems dangerous 🙏🏻

Thank you!! I have stopped doing that since then :-) You're right - dangerous.

Very good! at first💪. I'm thinking of trying it. Do you start the backroll at the beginning, during or after completing the kiteloop? Any recommendation?

Thank you! You should try it ... if you can visualize it completely I bet you will stomp it first try ... it is easier then I thought it would be - just really scary going into your first one.
Go into a normal kiteloop, but bring your knees up close to your chest and be really solid. I usually loop jumping to the left - so kite loops clockwise.
As you initiate the kiteloop, bring your left knee up really high - when the kite yanks you - the most powerful part of the loop, look over your shoulder and throw your legs around your body ... youll rotate really quickly and be ready to spot your landing! Hope this helps!! Let me know if you try it!!

@@jkitefish brilliant! Thank you so much for your answer. It is the impulse that I needed to dare to try it, I have already made many kiteloops with a good wind and I need to go one step further. Your experience is of great help to me. One doubt I have left, I usually start the loop when I still have inertia up to 80%. I understand that at the beginning of the pull I start the backroll, must I stop the back loop? or does it give time to finish the backroll before stopping the loop? my fear is going to loop while I'm on my back. Thank you very much again, sorry for my English passed by the translator. I am from Spain and I will not be able to try it in a while due to the covid. But when I have tried I will tell you. I'll try to make video.

@@smkyzorkite For your first one as long as you can really visualise the entire trick you'll get it fine I'm sure! Go into it with 100% confidence and once you start doing it you cannot stop. Just look over your shoulder and your body will follow! Good luck!!! I think it helps to film it ;)
