    Great video! Just curious. How come you used one of the SENDS to your second amp instead of the RIGHT OUTPUT and panning left to one amp and right to the other? Is there a benefit or difference?

    I assume that one's fx chain is limited by the DSP of the HX fx, but can you have maybe 4 or 5 fx in each path without having any problems?

      @@jeffshirkey3085 You're correct, the DSP is the limiter. If they're basic effects that don't need too much processing power, then you can have two paths of 4-5 effects.

    Hi, hope you’re well. Having watched all your hx effects videos I gotta say you’re brilliant.. the information & delivery is on point. Thank you for making it really easy to understand.
    Looking forward to more from you having just got my hands on an hx effects I‘m attempting to route it through a Boss GT1000 with interesting results - thanks for your help 🙏🏾

    Hi great video but what is the wiring look like? I don't think you said how to wire it?

      Please see my first video on wet/dry setup for info on that (link in the description). It's exactly the same for this configuration.

    First of all thank You su much for all this valuable information delivered in every tutorial. I have a quick question though. I have noticed that my hx effect is heating. I just got mine last week and I want to know based in your experience with this device is that is kind of normal or not. Thank You in advance.

      Hi. Thanks for your kind words. The unit does get hot in use - all CPU / PCBs do - but it's a question of how hot. It shouldn't be too hot to touch for example. If it is, or you're in any way concerned that it is getting too hot, I recommend contacting Line 6.

    Hello, I can't find a solution for how to split the signal path at the end with 2 outputs. Main L/R and Send 1/2.

    In the 2 years since I’ve owned my HX Effects units I’ve learned more from these videos than others combined.
    Quick question, if I want to run dual mono fender amps, is it as simple as running from outputs left and right? Any need for phase inverters etc, or would that not apply with a simple dual mono rig?

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your kind comments. The phase issue depends on where the amps are. If they're right next to each other, you should have no issues.

    • @marcohoxha2769
      @marcohoxha2769 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thehont8648 thanks. Do you mean where the amps are physically placed? So, if I were to place one the other side of the stage behind the bassist I could have an issue?

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marcohoxha2769 Yes. Physical placement can make the amps sound partially or wholly out of phase, depending on how far apart they are and where the listener is standing. It's a complicated issue, though, so I suggest doing some research (or just trying it and see how it sounds). If they are on completely opposite sides of the stage then you'll probably be OK. The HX unit itself should not cause any phase issues with your setup.

    Great video. Is there anyway to make the looper play to my clean amp and then switch to my dirty amp for lead, BUT, the looper keep playing on the clean one so I can play lead over it?

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. You just need to put the looper in the same signal path as the clean amp effects. i.e. Make sure that it is not anywhere in the dirty amp path. Hope that helps.

    Hello, I thought I followed the instructions but I cannot get one amp to turn off? I am able to get the paths correct for each effect but when I click on footswitch 6 both amps still have sound?

    Is there a way to run two amps and send the fx set up to both amps?? How do u correct phase issues?

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. See my videos on wet/dry setups. If the amps are close together you shouldn't have big phase issues, but if you do I recommend the GigRig's humdinger. It isolates one output (to eliminate hum) and can flip the phase.
