Thank you so much for your wisdom. Today I celebrate 6 years vegan. Saw Earthlings , which I thought at first was a show about ET’s.. My first impulse was turn it off but something within made me keep on looking. I went instantly vegan. The first month I was in agony, feeling bloated and generally unwell. But I realized that going from hardly any fibre to near 100 percent fibre caused havoc in my body… After the month of agony I was able to eat whole plant food and cooked with no digestive problems. Problems only come when i eat too many processed food like mock meats etc. I continue to thrive on whole foods . The most wonderful feeling in the world is to wake up every morning clear headed and at peace that I will do no harm to sentient beings today. As much as possible. Thanks again for your advice.. so relaxing.
So glad to hear someone praising potatoes. They have complex carbohydrates and vitamins! They stop you from feeling hungry. But since the modern way of eating potatoes is fried in oil or drowned in butter and sour cream, the common myth is that potatoes are junk food. I swear that's the same cat that another intervewee said was hers! Definitely the same room. The key apart from eating a huge variety of fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts & seeds, is to eat a lot of them. When going plant based I was educated in what I needed, but just not the quantities. I found I was often hungry having my usual breakfast, lunch & dinner. Now I try to eat every 3-4 hours and find this much more satisfying. Without giving TMI, I was using the bathroom more frequently so I guess I needed the extra calories plus the fiber. I’m SO relieved to hear someone say with so much confidence that we eat this way mainly because we are fueling our bodies in the way that makes the most sense and animals come second. More people would consider veganism if it was promoted this way more often. Ironically enough, more animals would benefit if ethical vegans could only concede this issue.
@@bobsback2676 check out Dr. Michael Klapper’s interview on this channel. He spends a great deal of time discussing why veganism benefits animals and his personal connection to that cause and why it’s so important. Your fundamental view is also represented on this channel. @@bobsback2676 Read proper. They are saying that we (the human race) eat this way because of these reasons. We might not like it, but that is how the average person thinks. Not that we agree with it!

One more argument to support the fact that our culture has determined when and what to eat. But our culture is not carved in stone as what we must follow. On the contrary, we are the designers of what is convenient to follow. We need to overcome the hiding of how culture is programmed within our personalities until we forget that we are individuals capable of influencing our culture into transforming itself for the better of all of us. Cultural transformations take place as the knowledge of things enlarges (science). Now we are learning that plant-based eating habits is better than what our culture has taught (that we will be stronger and more intelligent if we eat pieces of dead cows, pigs, chickens or fishes). But we need to revise our culture and as we do that, put together the elements that will hold a better, more rational way of living. A way of living that will contribute to a better health for us and our planet, Earth. And very importantly, this new culture will eradicate the need to mistreat animals and kill them.
B12 comes from bacteria and administrated via cross contamination. But we use treated water and clean plants and don't depend on feces laden flesh. Human animals have it too. Why kill and consume body parts, organs, human, nonhuman, dirty plants, dirty water, dirt? I'll just be vegan and supplement B12 thank you. No matter your diet you can still become deficient if not careful. If I had to get b12 from an animal it would be a bivalve every 2 weeks or something. Not a cow every day. But a supplement is most simple, cheapest, most ethical, and ethical for me. Consult with a vegan doctor through PlantBasedTeleHealth.com
You'll have to see if he will let you move in. Or maybe you can go to his website alter.health And schedule some sort of consultation. But I think it's pretty straightforward variety of whole plant foods. Like beans, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices like recommended by the free Daily Dozen app the most comprehensive meta-analysis on nutritional science out there by nutritionfacts.org
My only reason for being vegan is the suffering we do unto animals The health benefits have been secondary for me This is a philosophy that I preach to my patients as their doctor
Yet if you look across my channel you will see plenty of ethical vegans and health oriented vegans and environmentally focused vegans. I even did a documentary on the later two. If you really care about the movement you will understand and appreciate and support a diverse approach that comes at the world from every angle and expedites progress. We don't all come into it for the same reasons in the same way but invariably embrace all of the samr reasons over time. The only thing that seems horrible is your attitude, At least what I'm doing is changing lives for the good and saving more animals in the process. What are you doing exactly besides being negative and counterproductive?

His wife sounds a little more confident about what it is that was the selling point for her and why she hasn’t turned away from me and I think she’s a big influence on him for certain because I think that he could very easily tip over to the other side. Would like to say is if either one of these young professionals haven’t heard of Dr. Sebi that they should give a good listen to some of the lectures he has on TH-cam. Unfortunately Doctor said he’s no longer with us but he has a very sound philosophy about hybrid foods and starches in particular and he was able to reverse quite a lot he made such a spectacle of himself that they made sure they took him out I’m not suggesting that anyone should be motivated by that as a goal what I am saying is there is more information that dives deeper into the world of nutrition that would be well worth investigating it will not only improve their personal lives by that experience they will have an opportunity to help others. I am A huge advocate for supplements and mainly whole foods supplements which also come from the plant kingdom. I don’t believe that the foods that are available to us today even organic are 1000% sound or trustworthy there’s too much corruption in agriculture and through the agencies that govern them there’s too many loopholes. I do believe that your best is to continue to educate yourself and be open minded and hearted and I love that younger people are inspiring not only their generation but generations that came before and the ones that will come after so kudos to these young people for doing their best to improve their lives because the truth is your health is your wealth and it is one of those missing keys that most people do not feel is connected to what is going on in their mental in their motional bodies as well as their spiritual. I don’t hear a lot of vegans talking about the importance of energetics meaning you are an electromagnetic individual and so it isn’t what you eat is what you become it is what you digest and you have many ways of consumption. One of those ways is mental in through your other four senses but you are a mind body and spirit so you may not be aware of the fact that you are a receiver and you are consuming the energy of individuals who have been mouth treated and murdered This carries a very heavy emotional and mental burden But it is the invisible that is what people are unaware of and how that affects them and if you look at the hormones in the incompatibility of the DNA for those who are consuming animals that’s one area to focus your attention on and then let’s look at the fact that these animals have really been through it so they’re dumping chemicals like cortisol in these types of things after major traumas including the slaughter of this most beautiful life and how that is been distributed through the body and consumed by the individual who purchases this and prepares it as food. This is so essential because the sound and vibration are all part of your make up and so it is with what you consume this is why when you’re eating fresh fruits and vegetables which hopefully you’re growing you’re getting not only nutrient dense but you’re getting live energy because the moment you cook that food you have removed its fiber eliminated its nutrient density and now the life force is gone you’re not getting live conductive foods that feed the energy of the body and it is essential whether someone’s aware of it or not As a what his wife said was that she wish she had made that conversion sooner but she is one of the lucky ones because she listen to her intuition which was telling her that something wasn’t right and even though she was being challenged in question there was a part of her that kept knocking and saying open the door honey there’s something so much more gratifying on the other side of that door some thing that could never compare with the life that you’ve currently known up until this point. That’s amazing because she started her journey when she was 18 years old. And the fact that both of them are now doctors in there giving advice in guidance and assistance to people who really have gotten themselves in a pickle and they’re explaining and sharing what has worked for them that is amazing I’m so proud of them and I hope they’re proud of themselves
Saludos..

My friend cant eat food with fibre in therefore plant food is limited. So she is one who has to eat animal products. If you could find a way she could include more veg in her diet she would love it. She has no colon and even has some of her small intestine removed. It’s very sad.
In 2 weeks I'm publishing a video by someone that was vegan from birth and he is 70 year old and was raw vegan for the first 32 years. In traveling he found it too hard to be raw. Since then he's not fully satiated without something cooked at least once a day. Some foods are more nutritious when they're cooked like carrots and tomatoes. I would love to do more sprouts myself and more raw but mushrooms need to be cooked and potatoes and beans would be hard to give up without justification.
I don't think so, but maybe lol. Makes me think of Dr Ken Berry or Shawn Baker or Saladino. Only those guys need to eat berries and salads and they're not
Why are you saying this? Wfpb doesn't solve what problem? Whay does doctors and allergies have to do with anything? Allergies do change in people and i have interviewed people whose allergies have significantly improved after going vegan.
@@VeganLinked Because I've been vegan a long time and I am tired of all these videos implying that going vegan, or WFPB, fixes all health problems, because it does not. I'm never given a solution.
Of course anyone on a plant based diet SHOULD be vegan but you could be on a plant based diet and still do catch and release fishing, bet on horse/dog racing, wear leather and wool, visit zoos, breed dogs etc etc. - obviously making you not vegan, correct?@@VeganLinked
He is vegan but a lot of doctors are more focused on plant based to not let their personal disposition interfere with their patient relationships. And a lot of people I have interviewed have been barefoot. I even thought about calling the channel barefoot vegan. We are indoors and people often take their shoes off indoors. I'm in their home.
Vegan is to protect animal rights. This is the first thing you should think, before you call your self a vegan. Whole food is what you eat, but not vegan
And the most impact we have is through diet. And because it is healthier we can firmly say we don't need to eat them. So we need doctors and people to evidence this.
No, the cat isn't and it isn't relevant either. But there is a chance for cats to be vegan with a specific amino acid supplement or food fortified with it. In time... but not what this is about
@@Arthturus no, it is not animal abuse. In fact one of the oldest dogs, Bramble, was vegan. There's even a rare genetic abnormality that causes some humans to pee out too much of an amino acid causing them to need it from an exogenous source. But even these people can enjoy the benefits from an exclusively whole plant food vegan diet. And this video has nothing to do with what cats and dogs should eat. Stay tuned though because I plan to do a video on this and there it will make more sense to chime in with your perspectives.
@@VeganLinked It is abuse. Just because 1 dog lived a longtime doesn't mean it's healthy. You have to trick the dog into eating plants. They wouldn't eat plants naturally unless it's in the digestive tract of an animal they ate. And I doubt it was vegan its entire life span. It's probably "better" than giving the dog store bought kibble but that doesn't mean its healthy for all dogs and cats.
@@Arthturus dogs are true omnivores cats are true carnivores. When they're domesticated they eat whatever they are fed. They may not even know the difference between a can of food with or without necrotic animal flesh in it. It isn't abuse because it isn't hurting the animal and it exponentially isn't abuse because it doesn't depend on animals being killed. So, you're not just wrong, you're exponentially wrong. And like I already said that doesn't have anything to do with this video.
Yet diet makes the biggest impact. It is quintessential to veganism. It is what allows more people to embrace veganism and sustain it. Otherwise people would call it quackery and suicidal. It's doctors like this that help more people than anyone. In fact it's doctors like this that made me healthier and want to become more than just a closet vegan but instead the best advocate I can be because I know now that anyone can do this. Before it just didn't make sense to tell people to go vegan if it wasn't practical, healthy, and sustainable. I want to help people, we are part of the vegan equation not just non human animals. Meanwhile you do what besides criticize? Who are you helping and how?
@@VeganLinked I'm helping you by trying to tell you that veganism is not about you your health or your environment, it's always about the ani.als which you fail to mention ..you are not vegan .. being vegan is more than your diet..you arent help I g anyone go vegan ...
On behalf of simple logic you have no clue. I asked him questions about him him him. So of course he wouldn't respond accordingly. It's quintessential to have people focused on the health. Doing so helps more people than ever go vegan and sustain it thus sparing more animals than ever. Meanwhile you criticize and save nothing in the process? Do you help anyone ever? Because right now you're not
Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, is a form of alternative medicine.[1] It employs an array of pseudoscientific practices branded as "natural", "non-invasive", or promoting "self-healing". The practices of naturopaths, the practitioners of naturopathic medicine, vary widely and are difficult to generalize. Treatments range from outright quackery, like homeopathy, to widely accepted practices like psychotherapy.[2][3][4] The ideology and methods of naturopathy are based on vitalism and folk medicine rather than evidence-based medicine (EBM), although some practitioners may use techniques supported by EBM.[5][6][7] Naturopathic practitioners commonly recommend against following modern medical practices, including but not limited to medical testing, drugs, vaccinations, and surgery.[8][9][10][11] Instead, naturopathic practice relies on unscientific notions, often leading naturopaths to diagnoses and treatments that have no factual merit.[12][13] are you all americans doctors?
@@VeganLinked because there was a comment below posted by someone who said " wow, there's a dr that shares my believes about food". in europe, he wouldn't get that dr title that easy. at least not in naturopathy, which , by the definition i posted, is a quack science. so the title doctor is a bit misleading in this case. i am a dr in environmental sciences, but i studied in a acredited university for 8 years. in europe. americans get that dr titles too easy. i'm not saying he's a quack, maybe he believes nauropathy is ok, but is not supported by science. that's what i don't like about this. you may feel free to delete my comment if you like, but i think science is clear on this one. i am a vegan myself, i respect you, and i love your channel, and i respect people you have on your channel, but those dr titles give me goosebumps.
@@AlterHealth i know enough of naturopathy to believe every statement wikipedia and established science make about naturopathy. and that should be enough for everybody. however, if someone still believes in 2022 that naturopathy is a valid science, than, well, i rest my case.

Yep!

Love to hear that you've decided to be all in with veganism instead of letting some other diet "rub off on you."
What about vitamin B 12 , how vegan get it, not from pills but naturally?
Where can I see exactly what foods u eat?
You'll have to see if he will let you move in. Or maybe you can go to his website alter.health And schedule some sort of consultation. But I think it's pretty straightforward variety of whole plant foods. Like beans, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices like recommended by the free Daily Dozen app the most comprehensive meta-analysis on nutritional science out there by nutritionfacts.org
My only reason for being vegan is the suffering we do unto animals
The health benefits have been secondary for me
This is a philosophy that I preach to my patients as their doctor
But this channel does not ...it's terrible
Yet if you look across my channel you will see plenty of ethical vegans and health oriented vegans and environmentally focused vegans. I even did a documentary on the later two. If you really care about the movement you will understand and appreciate and support a diverse approach that comes at the world from every angle and expedites progress. We don't all come into it for the same reasons in the same way but invariably embrace all of the samr reasons over time. The only thing that seems horrible is your attitude, At least what I'm doing is changing lives for the good and saving more animals in the process. What are you doing exactly besides being negative and counterproductive?
@@VeganLinked You're talking to a smug one, Jeff. You've got nothing to defend. Your point is well-taken. It's do it my way or the highway nonsense. Really ridiculous but this is apparently an adult. Sad.🤝

One of those ways is mental in through your other four senses but you are a mind body and spirit so you may not be aware of the fact that you are a receiver and you are consuming the energy of individuals who have been mouth treated and murdered
This carries a very heavy emotional and mental burden
But it is the invisible that is what people are unaware of and how that affects them and if you look at the hormones in the incompatibility of the DNA for those who are consuming animals that’s one area to focus your attention on and then let’s look at the fact that these animals have really been through it so they’re dumping chemicals like cortisol in these types of things after major traumas including the slaughter of this most beautiful life and how that is been distributed through the body and consumed by the individual who purchases this and prepares it as food. This is so essential because the sound and vibration are all part of your make up and so it is with what you consume this is why when you’re eating fresh fruits and vegetables which hopefully you’re growing you’re getting not only nutrient dense but you’re getting live energy because the moment you cook that food you have removed its fiber eliminated its nutrient density and now the life force is gone you’re not getting live conductive foods that feed the energy of the body and it is essential whether someone’s aware of it or not
As a what his wife said was that she wish she had made that conversion sooner but she is one of the lucky ones because she listen to her intuition which was telling her that something wasn’t right and even though she was being challenged in question there was a part of her that kept knocking and saying open the door honey there’s something so much more gratifying on the other side of that door some thing that could never compare with the life that you’ve currently known up until this point.
Thank you! VEGAN FOREVER XXXXXXXXXXXXX
I just laughing, when I heard: I love potatoes 😂 I love potatoes too. I am eating them now 🤣

Saludos..

My friend cant eat food with fibre in therefore plant food is limited. So she is one who has to eat animal products. If you could find a way she could include more veg in her diet she would love it. She has no colon and even has some of her small intestine removed. It’s very sad.
She needs to speak directly with a plant based physician. Sounds like she may have let things go a little too far.
agree. and maybe introduce some fermented foods into the diet to help with digestion such as sauerkraut, kimchee, homemade kombucha, kefir or tempeh
Is he still a raw vegan?
Nope. I eat lots of raw fruits and veggies though.
I also respect other choices. My philosophy is do no harm and be kind.
what are you saying? what other choices? And surely you're vegan with a philosophy like that.

Hey, that look like my cat in the video!! 😊
AWWWWWWWWW KITTY 🤎
Are there any of these doctors that specialize in food allergies? No, WFPB by itself does not resolve the problem.

Why wouldn't they be?
Ethical its most important, animals are the victims must be for them to eat vegetables
Why?Gary Yourofsky can let his dog became vegan dog and you can't let your cat ?
Cats are different as they require a certain amino acid from an exogenous sources
Plant based not vegan.
why wouldn't you be vegan if you're already plant based?
Of course anyone on a plant based diet SHOULD be vegan but you could be on a plant based diet and still do catch and release fishing, bet on horse/dog racing, wear leather and wool, visit zoos, breed dogs etc etc. - obviously making you not vegan, correct?@@VeganLinked
This man is plant based, not vegan. He is soooo centered on himself. Sitting barefoot there for a formal interview is strange.
Hopefully the cat isn't vegan...
No, the cat isn't and it isn't relevant either. But there is a chance for cats to be vegan with a specific amino acid supplement or food fortified with it. In time... but not what this is about
@@VeganLinked thats animal abuse if you ever think cats or dogs can go vegan
He's not vegan and neither is this censored channel

@@XeLTH-cam veganism is not a diet..
Yet diet makes the biggest impact. It is quintessential to veganism. It is what allows more people to embrace veganism and sustain it. Otherwise people would call it quackery and suicidal. In fact it's doctors like this that made me healthier and want to become more than just a closet vegan but instead the best advocate I can be because I know now that anyone can do this. Treatments range from outright quackery, like homeopathy, to widely accepted practices like psychotherapy.[2][3][4] The ideology and methods of naturopathy are based on vitalism and folk medicine rather than evidence-based medicine (EBM), although some practitioners may use techniques supported by EBM.[5][6][7] Naturopathic practitioners commonly recommend against following modern medical practices, including but not limited to medical testing, drugs, vaccinations, and surgery.[8][9][10][11] Instead, naturopathic practice relies on unscientific notions, often leading naturopaths to diagnoses and treatments that have no factual merit.[12][13]
