Would help to known what brand name rebuild kits are good and or bad and where to get performance upgrades or just stock upgraded parts like the cdf drum sleeve that moves. Need to source one that has been updated .

Which one of these assemblies contains gear7-8. I have harsh up shif down shift in thos range and was told the bushing or sleve has come loose in drum and is blocking oil ports ? Supposed to be common problem Was told the slight whine to these trans is normal as well. Great video
Sir I replied f150 transmission so that truck is not going in D and R and when I put in M1 it's running same one told me drive in M1 on 60km it will be calibrat automatically
Hi, I need help with my 2022 Ford Ranger 10R80, Ford service spreads its hands :( Does anyone have an idea what's causing the sound from the recording? th-cam.com/video/mS66KdUGdbk/w-d-xo.html It is easily triggered by adding gas to P or N around 4,000 rpm or at low speed when the car is rolling in D without load. Ford service replaced the transfer case - this did not solve the problem. In Poland, unfortunately, no one makes these boxes and Ford does not have any parts 😢

What sysmptoms does the customer complain about if the CDF drum inner bushing has shifted ?

The C,D,F drum is the culprit it had a bushing inside that slides about 1/8" blocking some holes.
