Thanks I found Jay Samit's book and am reading it now. Excellent stories and examples to illustrate his points. Easy to read style helps. Thanks Oren for your questions. You really drilled Jay about what he's saying in his book!

Nice question at 11'17" to ensure the podcast is as practical as possible.
Appreciate your humbleness with the statement to Jay to explain: "Get your Big Idea and kill it" as so many biz interviewers are asking questions to support their own beliefs/theories.
Like the focus on action steps that listeners can take right now.
Hope you continue to conduct podcasts like this...excellent!

We have assigned DISRUPT YOU to all our employees since it is such a great book. Like Jay says, disruption is inevitable in any industry, and it is best to be prepared.

This is a brilliant interview but Jay's comments on technological unemployment at 38 mins are in my opinion way wide of the mark and deserve comment. Employment is necessarily about total numbers rather than the few who are like us inspired enough to take advantage of new opportunities and embrace change. Unless we can bring the community along with us or establish a Universal Basic Income then technological unemployment is going to cause massive social unrest and chaos (in concert with climate change) - OR unless we can fundamentally disrupt the economic and financial systems (a bitcoin UBI anyone?). Trying to simply say that the already marginalised are going to have to get cleverer at gaming a system they barely understand in order to survive is a recipe for social disaster.
