Hey Mo, I would be incredibly careful with finasteride. I was like you...listened to Mike Thurston and other guys on TH-cam speaking about it. Took it for about 3 months until I got sides (ED/no libido)...I'm off for 3 months now and nothing has improved. So just be careful. It does not have to happen to you but if you are one of the unlucky guys it can indeed happen. And most of the time ppl are fine when on medication but after they cease it hell begins. You might want to look into Post Finasteride Syndrome. Unfortunately there is very limited information out there because there are close to zero studies which have been conducted yet.

I think 27-30 is an appropriate age to get it, it’s when you see 20 year olds getting them done it’s like what are you doing. See how your hair is in 10 years and just take medication for now
You’d need to laser the remaining transplanted hair 10 years down the line and rock bald
