    I made a "massage oil" with chamomile oil, coconut oil, vitamin e oil, extra virgin olive oil, and cocoa butter last night. I warmed up and massaged it into my son's skin. His skin this morning was SO soft and he slept all night long!
    I also decided to try some on my skin and my skin is nice and soft this morning. So much better then store bought lotions! ❤

    It's better to add the Vitamin E oil after the shea butter and coconut oil have cooled down to get the most benefit from the vitamin E. Thanks for sharing this it's nice and simple :)

    If the oils are too hot. The essential oil properties will die.

    Hi! A few questions -
    How long is this lotion good for before it’s consider bad? Does it have to be refrigerated at all times? & can I use a mason jar rather than a suction seal jar?

    • @RaisingNobles
      @RaisingNobles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      mine lasted about a year, i didn't refrigerate it though. just sealed closed

      Hi! I’m you didn’t ask me 😂, and it may be late but this is technically a baby butter not a lotion! Because of that there’s no water in it, so they only concern with be the oils going rancid. However, she used Vitamin E which is an antioxidant which slows the time it take for oils to go rancid so it doesn’t have to be refrigerated and should probably last as long for a year minimum!!

    My baby has sensitive skin so am very careful not to put anything on his skin,I remember making a body and face butter with shea butter and just coconut oil for him but it didn’t do well with his skin so am not sure about this hmm.

    Hello! I found your recipe for this on Pinterest. I made mine with fractionated coconut oil. Is that a problem that I didn’t use the solid form of coconut oil? It seems to be okay. I just want to make sure.

      I don't think so, however I've seen so many recipes using YL oils that I'm definitely going to pick some up for when baby is here!
      Also, how long did this last? Shelf life wise xx

    • @RaisingNobles
      @RaisingNobles  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes YL oils are a great brand! The best way to join is with a starter kit and they are currently on sale, if you want to email me I can get you more info on how to join and get some good oils for your baby! Lifemoreabundantblog4@gmail.com
