as a Heat fan, just know: the same GM who built the Nuggets, built the Timberwolves, and made sure THREE big men can guard Jokic. we lost the finals because nobody could guard him. it’s something only the Timberwolves have the ability of. Jokic is forced to play the entire game. and it’s not just the scoring, it’s the aspect of passes and rebounds. but once that happens, the chance of winning goes up tremendously if you have a dominant scorer.

And that’s exactly how you beat Denver,, you have to have multiple big men on him you got 3 you will have a freah (as fresh as you can get deep into a game) to go against a joker who sure is great at cardio but if you got a guy with 10 minutes matching up against a guy no matter how good with 30 there is a slight advantage there!

I’m convinced that Wildes knows next to nothing about sports. They only have him debate as a comedy bit. I would be cool with it because they all have chemistry and it can be entertaining. But every time Nick destroys his bad takes, he gets so mad now. So that tells me he’s not trying to be funny and he’s actually serious. So therefore, I guess we have to take all of his crazy takes at face value. Wildes Nuggets and Jokic are the equivalent of Brou’s Niners and Purdy. Both (Brou with football and Wildes with basketball) have limited knowledge about the sport and just pick their favorite of the year and obnoxiously defend them all year (even to a fault) and whenever they’re wrong, just move the goal post, change the argument to something weird, or use double standards. This show is at its best when it isn’t too serious. If Wildes is going to “join the debate”, he needs to be able to take the heat every time he says stupid stuff.

Jokic and murray have faced two consecutive 3-1 series deficits before and camd back and won. So they certainly are capable of coming back when down in a series. The only thing really worrying is the slow starts that gave plagued them every game in the playoffs thus far. They have to try to find some energy and knock down their open shots.

@@penkima4923 more actions need to involve Michael Porter Jr. He's been the nuggets best shooter and hasn't had a a bad game yet. The mistake is that Jamal has been the primary ball handler on pick and rolls almost everytime early in games. That action should be inverted to get Jokic in space and switched so that he can read and make quick decisions before the defense settle in. Jokic would either have one-on-one with a smaller player or the defense would have to double and give away passing lanes.

If it’s so easy, why hasn’t anyone done it even once aside from Kobe/Shaq? The Heat could not repeat against Spurs. Yet the Bulls beat the Jazz twice back to back.
