I bought me one of these boxes awhile ago, and like you great card's and memories of my childhood. But mannnnnn had a handful of card's that had the ridges across the top from when they sealed the packs smdh🤦♂️🤷♂️. Good stuff bro keep up the good work much luv from the 801!👊🏻

Hey man, been following your channel a while to keep track of psa updates (Im a tcg guy). Oddly enough stumbled upon my dads old collection two nights ago and this was the one basketball set he had. Great to see your opinion on these, I had sleeved up all the Jordans, tribunes and some Team USA but wasn't sure where to go from there.
Honestly I like having some of the hall of gamers in a binder and trying to make and complete sets. The Jordan’s I will most likely send off to get graded at some point.
I ripped these last year. Mcdonalds also made a set with alternate artworks for some of the players. Jordan/bird/magic usa cards, mutombo and larry Johnson rookies as well. Also they sell these in rack boxes and I think there is an extra insert set I know series 1 has the slam dunk cards.

Do you plan on breaking both series 1 and series 2? Might be a more affordable option to just break 1996-97 hoops series 1 since it doesn’t have the Kobe rookie in. But then again people are pricing series 1 as if Kobe is in that box.

So do you like PSA or hate PSA because one video you hate on PSA and love SGC and the next your loving PSA again. I get so confused watching your videos
My stance on PSA is pretty clear. I'm not in love with them like every other fanboy flipper that is only shouting at the mountain tops that they are the best simply because they get a better ROI in a PSA slab. I'm all about getting a fair consistent grade with whoever that is and right now that is NOT PSA, its SGC, and THAT is my stance.
@@RetroHoopCollectibles your stance on PSA is NOT clear as you’ve hated on them and said your an SGC guy now then loved them because they are caught up and this, that and the other. I get it your trying to post videos with titles and content that brings viewers and with it subscribers but when subscribers know that’s what your doing they get turned off as they figure out your chasing numbers by whatever means necessary. Sometimes even controversial remarks helps the channel grow so I’m doing my part to help.
So again, in one of my videos, I've explained why I'm keeping track of them. I want PSA to get better, for the better of the hobby and the market. I'm chasing their data because they have said they are trying to get better. So when they do get better, I'm happy about that. However if all they're gonna do is feed us a line of crap and expect us to be cool about then imma do videos about that. If every thing I've dug into from here on out was positive about PSA, all I would do is post positive videos on them. I'm an SGC guy right now 100% because I feel they're the best company for grading at the moment. if PSA was legitimately the best, I'd be subbing with PSA.
