I have done 2 submissions with TAG. 1. I don’t like having to pay to see the TAG grade, it’s not the score on the slab, it’s their card score. 2. Personally, I think the shipping is high, just to use their box for shipping. 3. Unless I’m wrong, their grading relies Totally on their AI equipment. ( this may get long), I just sent in a card, sometimes the clear finish in some cards will be thick on some corners giving a bulbous look. That card grade was dropped to an 8.5, for that reason only and, was considered “wear”. Human eyes would have recognized that. So in closing, I really like their business model, BUT, if you want 10’s, them cards better be “dead nut, spot on”. That’s what I see with TAG.

Seems to me that CSG doesn’t really have much consistency imo.

Psa is shit!!!! Customer service is awful and turnaround times are horrible.

Supposedly PSA has two people that look at the card and the grade needs to be unanimous between two graders.

No gloves is common place in grading . She is hot .

i've now submitted over 50 cards, mostly vintage, to PSA. I was expecting at least 5-7 of them to be PSA 10's and the BEST i've gotten so far is a PSA 9. 4 of the cards I thought would be PSA 10 or 9's came back as 5's....all of them. To me a 5 should be damaged, frayed, off center, or have massing printing issues that it's a blatant issue you can see w/the naked eye. I've looked through jewelers loops to find the issues and they just aren't there. I'm done w/PSA and I'm going 100% SGC. They're turn around times are better, their fees are better, I like the holders and I think they're much more fair to the submitter than PSA will ever be.

Why are we cutting up jerseys from historic a night? Why can't we keep the jersey and pants whole and display it in the hall of fame? Or why can't fanatics have a redemption for the whole pair of pants? Cutting up a historic jersey makes zero sense to me.

Grant Hill and Jason Kidd had very long careers in the NBA both playing past the age of 40. Both are hall of famers. They were the last remaining players from this set to retire. Jason Kidd retired 2 days after Grant Hill in 2013. Kidd however played in the NBA finals 3 times and won a ring in 2011.

Most people who take this crap from PSA, are usually desperate to turn a quick profit. I’ve never sent any cards to PSA, and never will. I remember when they used to hand-out 10s like candy corns at the end of October. The cards could’ve been 70/30 at centering, given a 10, and slapped with a qualifier. Keep getting gouged by these now corporate scammers. With this updated TOS, don’t be surprised if some batches of submissions start to conveniently become lost. They’ll pay-you-off to what there think it’s worth, then auction or sell it and reap the profits. This is all a sophisticated scam to suck every dollar they can from money-hungry flippers.

I just recently got back into the hobby and started grading with SGC. Mostly due to the clear monopoly of psa and wanting to be a rebel. It is definitely disappointing to see identical cards in psa slabs out selling my cards, but I still prefer the SGC slabs. It's not all bad though. I recently sold 2 Aaron Judge/Tyler Austin RC topps heritage cards, SGC 10s, for $95 and $90 which are more than some of the recent PSA 10 sales. The crazy thing is neither of my sales show up on market movers or even in ebay sales history. I have a suspension that PSA is making ebay suppress sales history that isn't good for psa, just my opinion.

Yeah PSA. We are paying you to determine all the doctoring or altering ect. Not me/us. Want me/us to determine that then ok all my cards are PSA 10s. Slab them up and send them back now 👍🏼

Re-backing is a doctoring method that has been mainly used in the vintage Magic The Gathering cards market... remove the backside of a worthless card and attach it to the backside of a much more valuable card, making it look pristine.

Its worth losing % of profit to go to SGC . Especially if its keeps me outta jail 😂. Keep putting content out Omar, I like your videos because I know I m getting a straight up real answer not a fake.👍🏻

This makes no sense if you go and buy a card somewhere and you don't know that it was and you send it to them it's not your fault

It's sad that the hobby has gotten to this point.. If PSA don't want to be liable if something gets pass them, then how can they truly be liable of the grade they assign any card?? If they are pissing and moaning down to wiping finger prints off, they got more problems than just big issues as well..

PSA just admitted their graders aren't skilled enough to do their jobs and grade correctly.

I do what i want with my cards. If it's got some shit in it, i'll clean it. To me, altering is trimming, colouring, adding creams etc

So they don't allow "doctoring" but according to their website, they offer comicbook or magazine pressing to "remove defects like bends, creases, dents or other issues " 🤦‍♂️

PSA is gonna get sued. When you buy raw cards, you have no idea whether a card has been "doctored" and they can't prove you are the one who did it. I'd love to see them try "turning someone in" and get the pants sued off them.
