I liked how you made a video about getting ready for a season that’s going to be here soon. Most videos are after the fact so I liked how you are getting ahead of the fishing. 👍
I'm chomping at the bit (or the Clark spoon) for that warmer water to roll in and bring those fish! I think part of what makes them so special is that they're only around for a few weeks... but they're SO good to eat too. Keep the vids coming!
You aren’t the only one… every time I fish, I’m looking for those glass minnows to show up. I like to look at them as the fish that kicks off the spring too. It’s just exciting all the way around.
I have never been fishing for these fish but I have heard the amount of fun they are to catch. Thank you for this info man. I hope ill have time to get out there and catch some.
2500 size! People some Atlantic Bonita run 30 inches and over maybe for babies he’s taking about you hook into a 30 inch Atlantic bonito on a 2500 and good luck, 4k min incase you get a big boy

Yes sir. I plan on doing a Spanish Mackerel and Albie video too. They are similar but have their differences. That may be as early as next week.

@@ericwilliamsfishing well that would be sick.
Great informative Vid. Now I need to find a boat!
I’ve literally caught them on the jetty before and I know they catch them at Johnny Mercers pier on occasion too.
Great info! Can’t wait to podcast with you later !!
We are going to deep dive into it!

Great seeing another one of your imformative videos Eric. Hopefully I'll make time to get out there and put this new boat to use!
You have the perfect boat to go get them. I can’t wait to see your update pictures with blood on the deck 🤪
@@ericwilliamsfishing Hope to see you out there sometime and show you how I put everything I learned from your videos to use 😁

Good breakdown, literally the same things I would do. Thanks for the vid, see ya out there in April.
Thank you, brotha. Nothing like chasing fish that you can see and casting on them. It’s almost that time…
I am ready I can't wait to catch the bonitos ..
I hope you get on them this year as thick as thieves!
Appreciate the info!! Hope I get to try Bonita fishing in the near future! I’ve never done anything like that before. It looks like a blast!
They caught a bunch of them on the piers in Topsail last year.
@@ericwilliamsfishing I’m down at Oak Island, maybe I’ll try the piers there or take a road trip.
@@randallmiller572 they should be over your structure too. I haven’t tried for them down there though.
@@ericwilliamsfishing hopefully so! Thank you sir!
Good stuff man. Stoked and ready to get on some!
Thanks man. I’m pretty sure the Topsail area had a better year for them last season.
Hey brotha you think krocodile jig would work for bonito?
Yep. I do. Especially the smaller ones.

This is a really good point. They are as strong as it gets for a fish in its class. Same with albies.
