We used to catch Bonita in Southern California at a place called the Wedge, in Newport Beach. It would be wide open and you could catch them for hours. From morning to the afternoon. But this was the late 60's and 70's.
This is EASILY one of THE BEST edits I have seen on a fishing video for a long time! Scenes, camera angles, song choices, right balance of music and actual sound etc. etc. A+ job on this one bro! What songs are these?
Here in California Long Beach the Bonito are treated like mackerel, people don’t care about the 5 fish limit. Which has sadly led to their population making a sharp decline
Joshua Papoula love em! Use them all the time however I’m not a huge fan with them for Bonito. I don’t think these fish are reaction striking they’re actually looking at What it is and the white or pink snack just doesn’t look real enough for them. Could be wrong but I’ve got them dialed in!
They pop the hook sooooooo easy. Just my opinion its a safer bet and you'll land more if you let them scream and tire out. Just a bonus its also the most fun say to catch them! good luck!!!
The lure should be moving to fast for them to even realise it it's a crazy cluster fuck when they blitz if you lure is correct as long as its presented like a injured bait fish you will hook up I personally suggest changing you hooks tho the guys will bend the hook out .ore then you realize

Change your hooks man. I swap out treble hook for single hook. 3/0 circle works best. Crush barb too. Best for fish to live.
