If you think about it trip Is like the chaotics, she can Wall Cling and climb Like Mighty and knuckles, She's a lizard like how Espio is a chameleon. She can turn into a doughnut Like Vector. And when she goes in to her superform she can fly like Charmy bee.

The idea that The End was just THERE the whole time is hilarious to me. Giant death god akin to a celestial Dark Gaia and no one even looked twice at the second moon.
Maybe that's why nobody was concerned that the moon was cut in half. They always had two

I like that the reptil4e characters in Sonic have a more ring-looking spindash while the mammals are more ball-like
I'd love to see Birds have like, a more geometric spindash, while insects would have "layered"-looking ones
Trip's wall-crawl ability looks like the Spikes Wisp power.

Some more: If you get all rings in a checkpoint special stage, you unlock Metal NiGHTS in multiplayer!
And the coaster tracks you stand on in the circus stage have two Sonic Riders references! When 1, 2, 3, GO sounds are from the start of races in Sonic Riders, and when the track is starting to run out, it plays the same sound effects that play when you're running out of air to keep riding in Sonic Riders.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're also a subtle nod to those roller coasters from that recent fan game, Sonic and the Fallen Star.

Ian said that it is another moon different from the one that was partially destroyed in Adventure 2, confirming the theory that the Sonic universe has other moons besides the main one, curious detail, isn't it?

Bro I legit lost it when I saw Trip’s spin dash (my boy Vector lives on)! And I knew those bomb bushes in Speed Jungle reminded me of a something 😂 So happy they referenced Ristar (and Fantasy Zone cause that was crazy)! Also I love that they used the early loop concept art in Golden Capital. Such a perfect place to use it! I never realized Tails Doll was floating Pinball Carnival though, so now I’m gonna have to look for him!

Ok i literally didn't realize my first time through that that whole shooter section is literally just Fantasy Zone
By see the Vector animation reference, it made me wish that the next Sonic game in the Modern Sonic universe will bring back E-123 Omega, Shadow, Silver, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Blaze, Rouge, Cream and Jet the Hawk and his team as a playable characters again and with their own ability because, to be honnest, those last Sonic games become too much repetitive to always have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy as the only main characters while others characters be forgotten (I know Mania, Superstars and Origins are in Classic Sonic universe but it's not a excuse) while Eggman always try to create a big strong robot for defeat Sonic at the end but always be defeat that it didn't surprise me to see it's happend again in the final level from Superstars as it was too much predictable due to a story who is too much repetitive as if we already know it before.

Super form gives her the power of flight like charmy, she stole mighty's wall jump and vector's spindash, the only immediately original thing is her default spike wisp ability

"The End" moon proves that Classic and Modern Sonic are separate people, because we only ever see this moon in Sonic Frontiers, which is nowhere near the Classic Sonic timeline.

I can’t believe tails doll is in sonic superstars. So that means Sega never forgot about tails doll because there where haven nightmares about lol.
You know Sonic Team didnt develop the game and just slapped on their logo (like they did in the Advance and Rush series) in the game if theres this much talent and easter eggs/references placed in a Sonic game.
I guess if Sonic Team cant fix pop ups in their main 3D they can't make a 2D Sonic game with good physics like Arzest and Whitehead did.
