Hi, the gas struts are mounted upside down. Mount them Rod down, tube up (the opposite of what is seen here) and they will last A LOT longer and work better. By mounting them with the tube higher than the rod, the small amount of oil in the tube will sit around the seal, lubricating it and the rod, reducing wear. It will also provide 'damping' as the door reaches fully open because the internal piston will only then hit the oil at it reaches near full extension . Mounted the way they are now, the oil will never contact the seal. :)

Attach the safety bar at the bottom first, then pull the door down and attach that end.
