The hand washing thing gave me a flashback to shortly after Corona was getting started, and my male coworker commented on how bizarre it was that all the guys were suddenly washing their hands in the public bathrooms. Shocked, because hand washing is not even a QUESTION in the women's bathroom, I asked if that wasn't the norm. He then estimated that maybe about 30% of guys wash their hands after peeing normally.
