I enjoy this tent and can't wait to use it more. We are beginners and we have only used it 3 times in the past year. Glad to hear that they are good on replacement parts. I went ahead and purchased a new hub since I heard that those sometimes break. Better to have extra than to not have it at all.
@@paulcali08 the T8 is just 2 T4 tents stuck together. The T4+ is their T4 with a convertible screen room attached. But as long as you keep the sides rolled down it's basically a 2 t4s. But unlike other tests there is no HUB just two tent rooms
Great video. Thank you. I noticed you don’t use a ground sheet under your T4. Might you have had fewer holes in the floor if you had used one… ? 🤔 I think the T4 Plus’s ease of set-up and take-down, spacious interior, and reasonable price make it an attractive alternative to rooftop tents, for budget-minded overlanders. Cheers! 🍻
Yes! I definitely agree that a ground sheet would have helped but I never use them. I’ve just been patching the holes. It’s still waterproof and works great.
hello first i must say thanks for your time for making this video . i still didnt what is the difference from t4 plus to t8 , and what more fit to a family. and please i really need help here , before i buy it i must know if i pull out all the PC's from the bag , what is the dimensions of the longest part without the case ? ill need to transfer it with flying case out of state and i need to know if it will fit it if i split it on the flying case ( 25kg ) . please help me here ❤🎉😊
Ok. The T8 is like two T4s in that the walls of the tent are mostly fabric with little mesh. The T4 Plus is like having one T4 attached to a 4 man gazebo. I have 3 kids and we prefer the T4 Plus because we can hangout in the gazebo to escape rain or bugs.
Do you know if the inside dimensions of the t4 compartment, meaning the actual t4 part of the tent not the sunroom, are the same as the regular t4? Or is it somewhat smaller because of the other chamber, I remember hearing that the t8 is set up that way and that fitting a sleep system like two cots would not work because of the divider wall that would otherwise normally work in a regular t4
My understanding is that the non-sunroom side is the same as a single T4. Two cots will definitely fit on either side. I’m 6’3” and use the longest sleeping pad I can buy and I still have room for my duffle bag at my feet.
Thinking of getting one but what is stopping me is the 1 year warranty (Nemo has a Lifetime) & the holes shown on your video… what do you think Gazelle would say once the year is up?
I bought this rug: BalajeesUSA Outdoor Patio Rugs clearance 6'x9' (183 cm x 274 cm) Blue n White 20317 a.co/d/5jHZFq0 It’s a little longer in one direction than the tent floor, so I just fold the extra bit over. I have a smaller version of this same rug that I place outside the entrance to the tent for dirty shoes.
Like the tailgate trick too, thank you Sir
You bet!

Yeah that’s a good idea. It’s a great family tent!
What part is actually a "hub"?

Great video, this tent is very functional for a family.
Thanks
If you got a tarp for the underneath, that would probably help protect your tub floor a bit better! I'm glad they're replacing it though.
I agree! That’s a good plan to protect the replacement floor.

I have t4 just love it .
Me too!
Great for doing not illegal activities!
Huh. I’m not sure what this comment is about.

The bag adds almost nothing to the dimensions. It’s very this fabric. So you should have no problems using the stated dimensions on their website.

I’m not sure. I hope they would. Lifetime warranties are more the industry standard. The floor does wear out fast when placed on anything but grass.
What size dimensions would you recommend for the mesh screen room? I just purchased a t4 plus and was thinking of buying a rug for that area

@@highcountryoverland what would you say the dimensions are on the screen mesh room?
The dimensions are 94”x94”.
@@highcountryoverland thanks again for your help
what did you use to patch the tent?
I’ve been using Gear Aid.
