@@DesTakeFlight i dont remember what amperage i had it on. But i believe it should be about 125-140 amps if the replacement plate is 1/8” thick. Also this is a full race car but when im done with this one ill build another show car.

I building a street/ Strip car 1984 Monte Carlo SS putting a L8T iron 6.6L & I’m stroking it to a 418 and going twin turbo. It’s basically a LT block with LS internals which makes it a hybrid build I can’t wait to its all done. But u definitely inspire a brotha to try & work on my car myself, ain’t nothing wrong with trying 💯 . Just gotta figure out how to take my MC off the frame.
@@DesTakeFlight nice build its easy taking it off the frame but i strongly suggest at least 6 jack stands and 2 jacks and wheel dollies. I did mine with less but it took long and staying on ya feet. Also good space to slide the frame out

Appreciate it. The amps depends on the thickness of metal your welding. But the rule is 1 amp per .001.
