- Spring is coming closer, but the winter is long up here in the mountains of Norway. The days are overwhelmingly bright again and there is still a lot of snow covering the landscapes around us. So, in this video I'm taking you along in our lives a bit again - from a trip into the mountains, new fantasy art pieces, northern lights to the journey of saying goodbye to our beloved camper van. I'm also telling you about why I have not been so active on social media lately. I hope you will enjoy ♥

Honoring your own rhythm is essential for the creative process. I think creating videos at your own pace and with respect to your need for reflection and self care is absolutely wonderful and healthy...I always love to see you here and will always watch your videos, whether they come once a season or twice a week or once a year! Do it all your own way and that is just perfect!

Thanks for sharing. I understand about the van. We just had to get rid of a 23 year old truck. We had so many fond memories driving all over in it and teaching our kids to drive, now they are grown. Joachim's paintings are so very pretty. Best wishes.

I love the magically themed candleholders💕💖🧚♀️ so stunning and enchanting! And also love that beautiful woodlog lamp above the table (which looks amazing too btw😊) , with the carpet and the lights hanging in the background! So basically, I had to pause the picture to admire the interior😄Sadly I cannot recreate the breathtaking natural environment, but I feel inspired to bring that nordic coziness into my home😍

The far north of Norway, with its long winters, is an ideal time to do just that and to take a break from social media. You are such a gracious and sharing person .. you and Joachim .. and I for one if I might speak for others am glad we get the videos we do.. I find as a painter loving the sunlight in my studio find winter months with less "joys" being produced. For you winters are so long and even with photography daylight is limited.. Here it is almost the end of July and the afternoon sun beckons me to get back to my studio.. I will seek your next video and save it for tomorrow's rest time before painting again.. Much of what you photograph and your two so wonderful personalities are inspirational to me... There is a peace in you that is lovely and I hope I might imitate if possible. EnJoy 😊
Hi Leena and Joachim. Taking care of you and Joachim is the most important job, right? You made it through a Winter up North, and that is commendable. Another vehicle will come, hopefully you are able to go shopping and cooking food to eat. The Northern Lights are amazing, aren't they. Oh dear, dear Leena.....I can relate to giving up one's much loved and appreciated car! I had my little car for over 20 years! It was my little road companion....We had often had to repair it...touch up the paint, smooth out dents and I even was underneath it patching the holes in the floor!...and then one day the news that it was no longer road worthy and would not pass our inspection. I actually cried and had to write a farewell to this little car....but in time we were able to buy another economy car. I have just found your lovely videos and hope it is ok if I ask where did you originally come from? I feel that you are in tune with the beauty that surrounds you in this northern palace of snow and ice....for in the tranquility of the long winters, nature rests and rejuvenates itself for the coming spring....and you will do the same. Slow the pace, breathe in the quiet serenity, find your 'North Star' and come once again refreshed to the renewal of spring time and the warmth of the sun. Es ist immer heilsam, sich von Social Media fernzuhalten, Handy, etc. abzuschalten, nicht erreichbar zu sein und sich auf das zu konzentrieren, was wirklich wichtig ist, ganz ohne den Zwang alles teilen zu müssen.
Wenn Dir nach einem schönen Video ist, mach es und wenn nicht, alles gut. Immer auf das Bauchgefühl hören.

Just think about how lush and green everything will be because of the snow. The snow brings with it new gifts that when we have no snow we say oh my it hasn't snowed much this year and rivers and lakes dry up. So while it has been a long winter is is also a blessing.
First of all, thank you for all the time and effort you and Joachim put in to bringing us this beautiful content and giving us the window in to the beauty of nature and life thats so different from what most of us know. I don't say that out of envy I am trully glad and happy for you to have this, it doenst come easy as it may seem sometimes.
So please keep doing what you're doing, and share the contnet of your journey whenever you feel ready for it, often times the best things in life are worth waiting for.
Sorry to hear about your campervan, especially since it was your first vehicle, may it roll the hills and valleys of Norway for as long as it can. Nothing happens without a reason, same is with this change.

Liebe Leena, lieber Joachim, wie gut, dass ihr euch eine Pause genommen habt von den Sozialen Medien. Ich habe selber keinen Kanal, stelle aber auch als Rezipientin immer mal wieder fest, dass es gut ist, mal eine Weile keine Videos anzusehen :) Ich baue also TH-cam-Pausen ein in meinem Leben. Für euch, die ihr so viele Videos macht und postet, was unglaublich viel Arbeit ist, ist es noch wichtiger eine Pause bzw. TH-cam-Urlaub zu machen. Witzig, dass es sowas nicht gibt, oder? Ständig muss man anwesend sein...dabei nehmen sich andere Selbständige auch Urlaub. Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall, egal wann und wieviel ihr postet :) Also danke, für die wunderschönen Videos!!!

I could really feel the emotions through the video when you had to let go of your van and I almost cried. My car is 19 years old and I've had it for 11 years or so I think. I have to go to TÜV this summer (don't know what this is called in english) and at the last one, they said it's the last time my car can get it. I can't imagine letting go of it yet, I will still try and see if anything can be done to keep it just a bit longer, but it's very possible that I have to let it go as well 🥲

Spring here I live in Norway, but there will be soon spring or rather summer in your area as well in the middle of Norway. People wait for the summer here. Thankyou for the photo you sent me.
We miss seeing when you are not able to release a video but you taking care of yourself is far, far more important. It's always a joy to see your work, but to see a smile on your face and know that you have made some inward progress is more wonderful. Thank you for sharing your life with us but you and Joachim must put yourselves first and foremost. Then when a video comes, it's even more of a treasure. Hope spring and summer get to you soon!
