Always fill up the tank on Sunday evening or Monday morning because then the fuel prices are always the cheapest in Norway. After this, the price peaks on Thursday, before gradually falling towards the bottom again. Btw. thanks a lot for your lovely footage from Norway! ❤💯
As an ex pat myself, your videos were great for showing Norway. I live near Trondheim, a little further north. The population of Norway is about 5.5 - 6million people spread out the full length of Norway. Beautiful country and fantastic people.
Absolutely brilliant series. Thank you for sharing your trip - love all things Scandinavian so this did it for me. As always, great camerawork and story telling. And I didn’t think it was pricey considering you were there for three wewks. I thought it was actually good value given you did just what you wanted to, went wherever you wanted to go, and ate whatever you fancied!
Thanks for a great series, I have enjoyed ALL the episodes❗ 🤗 There was a ferry from Newcastle to Bergen back in the day, it even went further from Bergen and up the coast to Molde, so those who went all the way got a lovely "coastal cruise" included in their trip. Let's hope some ferry line brings back a ferry between the two countries❗👍👍👍
🎉Their roads are fantastic, my local country road in UK is a battle through pot holes, road works and traffic jams, my daily 10 mile commute to work can take me over an hour on some days.
My daughter and I have enjoyed this series so very much. We think of Norway as an unobtainable dream country. We were especially pleased today with this overview because we heard such positive comments on Norway (which we sometimes felt were not as often expressed in the other videos). Carol you are a gem and Ken my Dad was a CNR policeman for all his life, so I do understand your carefulness.
As an x pat that has been living on the outskirts of Stavanger for the last 36 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed your experience of this fantastic country with fresh eyes. Sometimes I was screaming, stop here, turn right, your missing this and that but on the other hand, you showed me some attractions that I never knew about and will be on my list to visit in the future. Thank you for that. I total agree when you limited your travels to one part of the country. It is a very long country and just attempting to see all four corners would mean you would be just driving for hours on end every day. Good advice! When it comes to cost that’s on many a travellers mind, you do not come here to party wine and dine or bask in the sun. The fjords and mountains are free to admire, hike and explore. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Takk for turen, og velkommen tilbake! There used to be a ferry connection between Newcastle and Kristiansand (and Bergen) some (20) years ago, but it was shut down, too few people used it :/ Me and my wife and her brother went to the UK, where we ended up in York, and stayed in a very nice youth-hostel, doing excursions out and about. A wonderful holiday! I remember the snarky humor on the shop owners, I remember the old pub where a cat had one of the pub-chairs reserved, and I remember staying over 5 hours in the Royal Armoury in Leeds. I remember when my brother in law bought a wall-hanger (hand and a half-sword), and the ferry-guy said dryly " I think we'll keep that until the ferry arrives in Kristiansand, we English haven't had so good experience with Norwegians with swords in past times..." -If a ferry connection is re-established, we will probably return :)
I've also been on that ferry from Bergen to Newcastle with my family in 1995. The only thing I still remember that it was a rather dillipated Ferry at that time. Actually AFAIK that line is the predecessor of the Fjord Line.
Coming from Lofoten myself, the amount of tourists that are there in the summer is crazy. You cannot turn in any direction without seeing an RV or some sort. Regarding snow: It hardly ever snows before mid-November. Gulfstream keeps things relatively warm. The start of May is when the normal roads don't get frozen anymore and you can drive on normal summer tires. Over to your series. I really liked it. I've been following you guys since you came to Norway in Kristiansand. You even parked overnight just a couple of km away from where I live in Randaberg and I think I saw you two when you were here. :)
It depends on where you are in the country. You guys are more exposed to the sea then a lot of us are. Also, the weather in the 2000s and out just hasn't been normal... Remember the snow in the nineties?
Great series! I'd say £1000+ per person for 3 weeks of travel is a bargain! Being from the US, it would cost me more than that just to get to Europe these days! I've been to Oslo several times but really want to explore more of Norway on my next visit. I'll be keeping your trip in mind and will consult this handy wrap-up to get the info I need.
Thanks Erica. Yes, it would be a lot more expensive for us to travel to the USA ☺️ Hope you get the chance to return to Norway soon. Thanks for watching 🙂
As a Norwegian who grew up in Norway during the 90’s and 2000’s, I gotta to say that if I’m not mistaken, I’m pretty sure we had way more rest stops back then than now. And yes more common among the main roads because they would have heavier traffic during holidays etc. Back then they had more services too like food etc. Now the majority only have toilets and a table or two. I dunno the proper term in English, but it Norwegian we call them “kro”, rode side restaurant, often linked to a gas station. When on vacay, we’d always stop by a selective few on our way to our family cabin up in the mountains… now days those very places has closed down years ago. Huge part of my childhood😁 Btw our roads are shite. Even places like Albanian have better roads than us. But like most things nowadays, things aren’t made to last are they… I also never ever use the public roadside restrooms. After they closed or shut down the amount of services, cleanliness isn’t really a thing and what I hate about public restrooms or toilets is that people don’t hive a fuck, and makes a mess. Better to just go out in nature tbh. Rarely will you find a clean one where people haven’t shat or peed all over. The. again, not locals, but tourists. It’s a well known problem how tourism causes destruction to our environment as well as nature due to the amount of traffic. Btw “bom” in Norwegian doesn’t mean taxes nor toll, but basically a gate that closes of access to any road. It’s just that it’s associated with bompenger: «tollfees» which is why we use it. Penger means money. Fun fact English is actually a western Germanic language related to Norwegian, Icelandic and Faroese. Old English used to be very similar to Old Norse, what the Vikings spoke, before they changed English into what it is today. And it’s thanks to the Norwegian and Danish Vikings, besides the fellow Germanic people: Saxons from Belgium, Netherlands and Southern Denmark, who settled in the British Isles that English even exists. And a recent genetic study proves that all Brits are as high as 40% Scandinavian mainly of Norwegian ancestry😉 Shops being closed on Sundays is actually due to religion. Norway being a Christian country, traditionally one was supposed to keep the Sabbath aka Sunday holy, which meant no work. It’s also that one day off during the week, so of course people wanna relax. Not that we are that religious anymore, as the church separated from the state years ago and the majority of us are Atheists. But it’s just our culture I guess to have the Sunday off. Tho in the bigger cities it has become more common to keep grocery stores open. Not all, but a few. Why everyone knows to do their last minute grocery shopping on Friday or Saturday unless you wanna get take way or starve🤭
Appreciate the video guys, also I found the price breakdown interesting. Don't mean to sound rude but you just can't put a price on such a wonderful experience, memories for life and the trip sounded a success on many fronts including health and personal safety. Really awesome looking landscapes thanks Paul.
Thank you Carol and Ken for this wonderful series. My wife and I absolutely loved it. We have never been to Norway but will be travelling to Trondheim in September to visit our daughter who recently moved there. We are looking forward to discover Norway and your videos has confirmed our excitement to discover this wonderful country. Rhé and Natalie from Québec, Canada
👋 Hi from southern New Mexico🌶️🌵...Your little red van gets great mileage. Thanks for letting us go with you on your Norway adventure and to see all the lovely places.💖😊
Thank you both, loved this series... I visited Norway as a 10 year old on one of the educational/school cruise ships from the UK, I think it was the SS Nevasa (nearly 50 years ago!) and always wanted to go back, you have just re-ignited that desire, thank you! G xx
I have to say I’ve visited Norway before and it is absolutely stunning. The scenery is just breathtaking. I really loved this series. I binged watched every evening after work! The best series so far! Thank you for sharing your travels with us and here’s to the next adventure ❤
we did norway last year for 5 weeks and never downloaded the apps, i did register online with reg and credit card details, when we got back home it took about 6 weeks before we were billed for tolls/bridges and we used a fair few ferries to hop from one island to another £150 we loved norway
I always enjoy your trips and the fact that you are such a lovely couple makes it all the more enjoyable. Looking forward to my next armchair travels with you.
And I drive from Benidorm in Spain to Trondheim in Norway....I am 66...and have bad arms, shoulders--- ;) I'm probably not that patient...and it will probably be a bit long days..You get to see more when you take it easy..
I for one want to thank you so much for a very informative and interesting series. Enjoyed it so much especially the beautiful scenery provided by the drone. Thanks again.
Lovely series, Ken and Carol! Thank you for all the work that goes into your videos and for letting us share your wonderful holiday. Best wishes, Laura
Thank you Carol and Ken, I have really enjoyed watching your trip to Norway. You seemed to be very organised considering you didn’t have much time to prepare. Great summary of tips and costs etc. I think that may be a first that the little red camper was too big?! Wishing you many more happy travels. Xx
Thank you for this video. It's always interesting to know what people have to say after a trip. When I went there, I too noticed that Norway is pricey (though I knew that before), but so worth the visit. Loved the fact how quiet it is and loved the scenery, it's stunning. By the way, here in Frankfurt shops are also closed on Sundays, except for bakeries. I enjoyed the whole series and looking forward to seeing Denmark. Take care 😊
It’s fantastic that the shops are closed on Sundays in France, Germany and Norway, I remember when many German shops closed at lunch time Saturdays! It’s also marvellous no trucks on French roads on Sundays. Sunday is a day for the family, something forgotten in the U.K. employers want Sundays considered as just another working day for their employees, no enhancements.
Very very interesting. Loved the series and all the epic scenery. Had to send some of the videos to my parents to see if they remembered any of it as they had done fjords cruise to and from Amsterdam. Yes, hopefully there will be ferries from the UK to Norway like there used to be from Harwich and Newcastle, that would definitely be a time saver
Really nice intro that Ken 👌🏼 Some great information, especially for people like us who are hoping to head up too. Definitely be watching this again nearer the time.
Enjoyed the series, stunning scenery, so clean, thanks for the breakdown in costs, always very useful .For 3 weeks travel ,overall reasonable ,Denmark next
Fabulous series and thoroughly enjoyed all your videos about Norway. I would have thought your total cost would be far more, especially when your ferry was over £500 so for 3 weeks that was a bargain. A million times better than a package holiday to the Canaries. Looking forward to seeing your Denmark series.
Loved this series, watched every one. It is lovely when Alan goes to work and I'm feeling a bit lonely feeding the baby. I'm going to watch your back catalogue while I wait for the next series! Xx
Thank you for a very enjoyable series, I've been binge-watching over the last week! I'm in the midst of planning a trip for this summer after a previous Norwegian adventure fell through due to Covid (and I unfortunately drowned our van!), so your videos have been a great insight.
Hej you two, wonderful ending to a beautiful trip of a fairytale Norway. Thanks for the history moments and the final score explanation. Loved every minute of it and regretted when the half hour over. Thanks very much and I just start over again looking at some old trips🥰.
Food prices, you can manage on a minimum budget if you wish. Almost all food stores in Norway have a counter/shelf with food that has a short shelf life that is sold at a reduced price of about 40 to 50% off, also "outgoing" vegetables/fruit can be found at reduced prices in counters next to the vegetable shelves.
Thanks Carol and Ken for a great series on Norway, its been a real joy. Watching your filming I really feel I should get myself a drone before I start my travels this year. Looking forward to seeing where your off to next? Take care x
Thanks Simon. You can get some great shots from a drone if you are prepared to practice and of course go through the registration process to get a license ☺️ Have fun on your travels 👍🙂
A very informative vlog on the costs entail on the Norway 🇳🇴 trip. You spoke commonsense in my eyes as to the limitations on travel keeping it to a particular area instead of just racking up the miles, far more time is saved this way & you get to be out & about more instead of being cooked up inside a vehicle, especially if the weather is as good as you experienced. Really enjoyed this trip & looking forward to Denmark 🇩🇰 & more tales from the little Red camper 💯👌
❤❤From Tromsø and further north the midges appears from the end of june. And that is a real HELL! So if you are planning to go north you have to concider that. If you are there from mid June you are almoust alone with a lot of flowers and birds singing all night! And the temperature is very nice. You will meet only a few germans, Netherlands and us!
You should definitely try Sweden as well at some point! Start with the southern region (Skåne) if you go from Copenhagen over to Malmö and then go along the coast southbound (the Österlen region). It is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden during basically anything but the winter. Not as spectacular as large parts of Norway but still an area a lot of Swedes also visit in the summer for holidays. You will definitely not be alone if you go there in the summer (June-August)... And, as an added bonus. Should be cheaper then Norway :)
Excellent series/tour. Thank you. Lots of great photography/videos and ideas of places to visit. How did you access the internet, UK phone SIM? We went in May June and until we got to Nordkapp, it was shorts and T shirts all the way, although the Artic Circle (about halfway up the country) was snowy, then it got warm again further north. The Arctic Circle in Finland however, was shorts and T shirts again. Lots of reindeer wandering around all over the place further north. We differ from you in that I find driving is the greatest pleasure, for us it is the journey, not necessarily the destination. - 6000 miles in three and a half weeks. You would hate that I guess. But we stopped off to walk and explore here and there. Each to their own.
Yes, we just used our UK data plans with EE and Three for the internet. Your trip sounds amazing. We would love to venture further north but the driving distances are a bit daunting for us ☺️
Great information, very well put together, neat editing. Actually, like the idea of most places being shut on a Sunday, family time as it should. In my experience the Scandinavian countries are clean and tidy because the population have pride and respect for the place they live in. Looking forward to Denmark, somewhere I’ve been many times. Will there be LEGO?
I dont Knowles any norwegian Who eat goatcheese together with cucumber and ham,we eat it on bred and vaffel wichs is a noewegian cake, but i Just love all your videos.Thank you.
Thank you for this very pleasant watch. About cash, Most supermarkets will let you withdraw cash. Just ask at the till and they will add it to your bill.
Norway is expensive, especially for foreigners, but I think you managed well for that kind of money:) September in 21 and 22 was a bit warmer than normal, with some Indian summer. For some more scenic roads, places, etc, too make the the distance short as possible the best way is to start around Namsos and drive the coast to Bodø. But it depends on what you want to explore. But for lush scenery, mountains, the ocean, the sand beaches etc.
Thank you for this series. I hope that you'll return to the nordic countries again soon. :-) Try to take Norrøna to the Faeroe islands and Iceland perhaps? Looking forward to seeing your next nordic visit. :-)
The arctic part of Norway is quite spectacular with the light and nature, eather its summer or winter. In the summer it's best to drive througt sweden thoug.. In the winter you don't drive.
Great summary and above all tips for us to take on board . Well edited and very clear book keeping as usual Carol well done A great series loved the videos that really showed Vanlife …. Interesting to see if direct ferry routes come off Thanks for taking your time on this series - missed my fav clip Ken running from the wasp lol 😂
Hi Both, yep, done the drive up to Hirtshals on northern top of Denmark a few times. Yep it's a long drive. I wouldn't do it without a night stopover somewhere. I don't like those northern Europe motorways much either, a lot are just two lanes so inside with lots of trucks or outside keeping up with BMWs and Mercs.
One thing that flew through my head, and you may already do this but some wouldn’t, de-register your card and maybe even close your account on these parking, ferry, toll accounts in case of future abuses via hacking or mis-read plates, etc. better safe than sorry or have to battle refunds.
What a pleasant video to come up! I was expecting something on a Tuesday. I’ll tell you one thing, I don’t think I could afford to live in Norway. Maybe I’m wrong. I’m off on the trek now from the very northeast corner of Tennessee Avenue to Seattle, Washington. I don’t remember how many miles a ticket about 3819 something like that. I won’t be able to do that at two hours a day. Well, I could, but I’ve got to be there in four days. Will have to drive 8 to 10 hours each day to get there in time. Woo hoo! But I won’t do that again for a while. This was a nice distraction on the road and I thank you for that. This is actually a very, very series. I enjoyed every one of the videos. I never figured out what SOD was. Oh well thanks for the rundown. Looking forward to Denmark!
It was a wonderful trip. A question I have. When preparing the series of episodes for us do you sit down in a day to prepare the whole series or do you prepare one weekly on the day it will be viewed? Perhaps you make them differently then I suggested. Thank you both again for giving us arm chair tourists something to look forward to each week. Take care, Mary
The videos don’t have any planning and most days we have no idea what we will see. Editing its just about taking the best bits and making it flow as smoothly as we can. I aim for about 20 minutes per episode but let them run over if a cut would be odd. A lot of tubers plan their episodes and shoot accordingly but sometimes that shows too much.
Always fill up the tank on Sunday evening or Monday morning because then the fuel prices are always the cheapest in Norway. After this, the price peaks on Thursday, before gradually falling towards the bottom again. Btw. thanks a lot for your lovely footage from Norway! ❤💯

Yes we will go back for sure
I miss the Newcastle ferry. Bergen-Stavanger-Newcastle was taken out of service in 2008 after the summer season.
Let’s hope they bring it back into service. I’m sure it would be very popular.
Thank you for showing of Norway in such a postive way!, we love out UK friends your the best! Welcome back!
Thank you so much, that’s very kind of you. We hope we will be back one day ❤️
We really enjoyed this series. Lots of useful info here. Can see why you loved it so much. Look forward to seeing if you go back. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it. We would love to go back one day. Maybe when the ferries start up again direct from the UK ☺️
Just think if you had to pay for hotels or camping. The little red camper is earning her money great videos thank you both.
That is another advantage of wild camping 🙂👍
Absolutely brilliant series. Thank you for sharing your trip - love all things Scandinavian so this did it for me. As always, great camerawork and story telling. Another brilliant video again guys! I always find you very therapeutic to watch! Keep up the brilliant work
Thanks Edward 🙂

👋 Hi from southern New Mexico🌶️🌵...Your little red van gets great mileage. Thanks for letting us go with you on your Norway adventure and to see all the lovely places.💖😊
Thanks for watching!
Great Review from a great series thank you both so much for sharing 😀
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 😀
Very enjoyable series. I love the way you don't try and sensationalise your videos the way others do. Just honest opinions. Please don't change.
Not keen on that ourselves so you won’t see that from us. 😁👍
Thank you both, loved this series... I visited Norway as a 10 year old on one of the educational/school cruise ships from the UK, I think it was the SS Nevasa (nearly 50 years ago!) and always wanted to go back, you have just re-ignited that desire, thank you! G xx

We've loved the Norway series. It's all new to us, so it's been nice to explore it with you. Cost of food though.... ouch!!
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

Thanks guys … we are heading to the Nordics in June and hoping to do a bit of a loop over several months … Norway into Sweden and then into Finland …
Wow, that sounds like a great trip. Have fun 🤩
And I drive from Benidorm in Spain to Trondheim in Norway....I am 66...and have bad arms, shoulders--- ;) I'm probably not that patient...and it will probably be a bit long days..You get to see more when you take it easy..
Wow, that is a long drive. Take care 🙂
Loved the Norway series, hope Ken gets better soon. Best wishes, Jane
Thanks Jane 🙏
28:14: Ferry from Edinburgh would be logical since E16 goes through Edinburgh to Bergen and ends in Sweden....
Hope we get one
So appreciated this video for its inspiration and the information.
I for one want to thank you so much for a very informative and interesting series. Enjoyed it so much especially the beautiful scenery provided by the drone. Thanks again.
Thanks Larry, we appreciate your comments 🙂👍
Lovely series, Ken and Carol! Thank you for all the work that goes into your videos and for letting us share your wonderful holiday.

Our pleasure, Laura. Glad you enjoyed it 😀
7:40 The wisest recommendation I have ever heard in any travel video.
I enjoyed your trip very much. You are very sympathetic people. Greetings from Eckernförde, northern Germany.
Cheers
Thanks Carol and Ken that was a lovely series of videos super entertaining 👍
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Hi Guy's, i loved the Norway videos, keep them coming (don't worry Ireland will be here when you come back,,, 😀😀😉 take care and stay safe....

Take care 😊
Thanks Anita. We agree with you, it was lovely and quiet and the scenery was amazing. We would love to go back one day 🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK me too and hopefully will 👍
It’s fantastic that the shops are closed on Sundays in France, Germany and Norway, I remember when many German shops closed at lunch time Saturdays!
Thanks for sharing, we hope your parents enjoy watching and we can bring back some happy memories for them ☺️
@@LifeistooshortCK yes it did that k you. They are the same as you in that they want to return there one day
Really nice intro that Ken 👌🏼
Some great information, especially for people like us who are hoping to head up too.
Definitely be watching this again nearer the time.
Glad you found it useful. You would love Norway, some scenery to rival Switzerland 😉😊👍
@@LifeistooshortCK it’s 100% going to happen, we just don’t know when 😁
I thoroughly enjoyed your Norway series as I have all of your videos.
And I look forward to your future travels stay safe,
Thanks Steve
Cheers Steve. Thanks for watching 😀
Welcome back to Norway! I hope to see you on the road some time.
Hi, living in Bergen I thoroughly enjoyd your series, hope that you repeat your visit on the future. Rgds JohnS
Glad you enjoyed it, we hope so too 😀
Enjoyed the series, stunning scenery, so clean, thanks for the breakdown in costs, always very useful .For 3 weeks travel ,overall reasonable ,Denmark next
Our pleasure! Thanks 😊
Absolutely loved this series, we are now going to have a look at Norway, thanks for sharing your experiences 👍
We did save a lot by not paying any campsite fees which helped. Thanks for watching 🙂
Loved this series, watched every one. It is lovely when Alan goes to work and I'm feeling a bit lonely feeding the baby. I'm going to watch your back catalogue while I wait for the next series! Xx
Awww, thanks Sadge. We miss seeing you and Alan on TH-cam. Hope all three of you are doing well 😀 x
Thank you for this wrap-up of your trip. It definitely helps me as I plan to visit Norway soon.
You’re welcome. We hope you found it useful ☺️
I love it on how you do a rap up of the series video.
Thank you for taking us along on your journey.
Thank you for a very enjoyable series, I've been binge-watching over the last week! I'm in the midst of planning a trip for this summer after a previous Norwegian adventure fell through due to Covid (and I unfortunately drowned our van!), so your videos have been a great insight.
Have fun!
I am from Norway and have really enjoyed this series. Glad you had a nice stay.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I certainly have enjoyed this trip. The videos are very well made, and I love your choice of music. Waiting on the next adventure!
Thank you very much!
Hej you two, wonderful ending to a beautiful trip of a fairytale Norway. Thanks for the history moments and the final score explanation. Loved every minute of it and regretted when the half hour over. Thanks very much and I just start over again looking at some old trips🥰.
Many thanks!
For sure
Great videos of Norway!
Big big thank you from Italy!!! ciao
Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did following your escapades. Now looking forward to Denmark. Thank you for sharing. 🥰
Cheers ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it, David. Thanks for watching 🙂
Thanks for the warning ☺️👍
You should definitely try Sweden as well at some point! Start with the southern region (Skåne) if you go from Copenhagen over to Malmö and then go along the coast southbound (the Österlen region). It is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden during basically anything but the winter. Not as spectacular as large parts of Norway but still an area a lot of Swedes also visit in the summer for holidays. You will definitely not be alone if you go there in the summer (June-August)...
And, as an added bonus. Should be cheaper then Norway :)
Thanks for the tips. We would definitely love to visit Sweden one day 🙂👍
Excellent series/tour.
We would love to venture further north but the driving distances are a bit daunting for us ☺️
Seriously though, great information for travels in Norway. Great productions, awesome content, appreciate the conclusion, thanks.
We may be a bit too old for Legoland 😊
@Life is too short Never to old for LEGO! The LEGO house is near Legoland in Billund, fascinating place with a lot history etc. Next time maybe?
@@richardcope3850 Have marked it on the map, thanks 🙂👍
Such an enjoyable series, better than the TV.
Cheers 👍
Really loved this series. Very interesting about the costs and we think you did very well. Hope you both ok and we await the next adventure.
Glad you enjoyed it. Next adventure stars soon ☺️👍
Very much enjoyed the trip ☺ Looking forward to your next adventure!!!
I dont Knowles any norwegian Who eat goatcheese together with cucumber and ham,we eat it on bred and vaffel wichs is a noewegian cake, but i Just love all your videos.Thank you.
Wish we had known that about the cheese. Can’t wait to go back now and try it with waffles and jam 😀
Very informative thanks you for such a precise breakdown of you trip.
Glad you found it useful 🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK taking notes for our trip
Thank you for this very pleasant watch.
About cash, Most supermarkets will let you withdraw cash. Just ask at the till and they will add it to your bill.
Thanks for the info!
I enjoyed your time in Norway. Guys u should take a small fishing rod and spin for fish to add to your diet ☺️
Ken does fancy a bit of fishing 🎣 ☺️
Norway is expensive, especially for foreigners, but I think you managed well for that kind of money:) September in 21 and 22 was a bit warmer than normal, with some Indian summer.
For some more scenic roads, places, etc, too make the the distance short as possible the best way is to start around Namsos and drive the coast to Bodø. But it depends on what you want to explore. But for lush scenery, mountains, the ocean, the sand beaches etc.
Thanks for the tip
Loved the complete series. Thanks for showing us Norway.
Great series. Looking forward to Denmark. Its a place me & my husband loved. Visited quite a few times 😊.
Another fab series! I do love going on holiday with you both, lol. Looking forward to seeing your travels through Denmark.
Thank you for this series.
I hope that you'll return to the nordic countries again soon. :-)
Try to take Norrøna to the Faeroe islands and Iceland perhaps?
Looking forward to seeing your next nordic visit. :-)
We have been to Iceland via that ferry when it went from Scotland. We had a caravan then and pre youtube 👍
Awesome trip, that was, loved watching it.
The arctic part of Norway is quite spectacular with the light and nature, eather its summer or winter. In the summer it's best to drive througt sweden thoug.. In the winter you don't drive.
Lovely. Very helpful. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi I have so enjoyed these videos you’re doing absolutely fantastic. I will miss you been on here once a week first class thank you
Great summary and above all tips for us to take on board . Well edited and very clear book keeping as usual Carol well done
A great series loved the videos that really showed Vanlife …. Interesting to see if direct ferry routes come off
Thanks for taking your time on this series - missed my fav clip Ken running from the wasp lol 😂
Thanks guys. Ken is not qualified to give advice on wasp evasion 😂
Awesome - worth every penny!!
Thanks for a great series you two.
Loved this series and this video was very informative. Thank you
Hi Both, yep, done the drive up to Hirtshals on northern top of Denmark a few times. Yep it's a long drive. I wouldn't do it without a night stopover somewhere. I don't like those northern Europe motorways much either, a lot are just two lanes so inside with lots of trucks or outside keeping up with BMWs and Mercs.
You two are a joy ❤ x
Thank you 😊
Hari Om
Actually, if you think in terms of
Exactly 👍
What happy memories for you .
One thing that flew through my head, and you may already do this but some wouldn’t, de-register your card and maybe even close your account on these parking, ferry, toll accounts in case of future abuses via hacking or mis-read plates, etc. better safe than sorry or have to battle refunds.
Good idea
SOD is the watery meat stew we showed. Big trip but your roads are good over there and you see distance as less of an issue 😁👍
@@LifeistooshortCK - can’t deny it. I’ve been known to drive four hours to a barbecue.
Loved your Norway series, very interesting. Looking forward to Denmark. Recently found you on Instagram too.
Saw you mention this new video on Instagram so had to check it out xx
Really enjoyed this series xxx
Thanks Clare 🙂👍
Well done both excellent 👍👍👍🏴🥃

another great video, yes expensive but clearly worth it
Looking forward to your Denmark series!
